WHAT HAVE YOU DISCOVERED?

Proverbs 25:2   ‘’It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter’’. There’s something exciting and beautiful about how our heavenly Father relates to each of His children. He relates to you uniquely and specifically as though you’re the only one on the face of the earth. The way He functions and carries out His ministry through you is also unique. This is one reason you ought to know how His anointing functions, or rather, is activated in you. You need to discover this unique ministry for yourself. For example, in Exodus 17, when Joshua led Israel to battle against Amalek, we observe that the course of the battle was mainly determined on the mountain where Moses lifted up his hands. Before this time however, there was no revelation to that effect, of hands being lifted up. But Aaron and Hur observed that the victory came about as Moses lifted up his hands: “ And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel p

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) FRIDAY MAY 22ND 2015

Psalm 46:9 -10 says: "He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth". In both 15 mins sessions at 12 noon and 10 pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in the spirit against violent unrest, wars and crimes against humanity p erpetrated by tyrants and terrorists around the world, bearing this scripture in mind. Pray for cities, nations and regions currently in these situations, that the Lord may intervene, granting them peace, and comfort and restoration for victims of these untoward circumstances. God bless you.

YOU CAN HAVE A MIRACLE TODAY

When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague   (Mark 5:27-29) . If there’s any area of your life where you require a miracle, that miracle can take place today. The opening scripture refers to the woman with the issue of blood, who suffered for twelve long years. When she “heard about Jesus, she purposed in her heart to receive a miracle: If I may but touch His garment, I will be healed” she kept saying to herself   (Matthew 9:21 AMP) . On that very day, she prepared herself for the `miracle touch.’ Though a crowd pressed on Jesus, she wasn't deterred because she had made up her mind for a miracle. She pushed her way through the crowd until she was close enough to reach for the hem of the Master’s garment. When she touched it, the Bible says, “stra

PRAYER FOR YOU

Dear Father, I thank You for positioning me for divine health, glory, success and excellence, having granted me everything I need to live victoriously in the earth, to the glory of Your Name. Hallelujah!.

WALK WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT!

When you open your heart to the Ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life, you will discover that life indeed could be a bed of roses. The Holy Spirit will bring rest, beauty and peace into your life when you learn to open your heart to Him, and trust Him to lead and guide you in the affairs of life. There is absolutely nothing any Child of God can do effectively without the help of the Holy Spirit. This is the reason you must open your heart to Him in fellowship every day! Be conscious of both His in dwelling and abiding presence, for He is all you need to live the supernatural life. Jesus said “and I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:16). The Greek word used for another comforter is “allos parakletos” “Allos” means ‘the same of another kind’, while “parakletos” translated ‘comforter’, really means one that is sent alongside to go with you and help you. The Bible clearly shows who the Holy Spirit is t

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MEDITATE ON THE WORD

Meditating on the word means putting the Word in your mouth and talking the Word. If you talk the Word long enough, it will change your attitude. It will change your character and your lifestyle. Your performance of the word of God is preconditioned on your meditation on the word. Hallelujah

YOUR TESTIMONIES AND YOUR FAITH-WALK

For we walk by faith, not by sight   (2 Corinthians 5:7) The walk of faith is the lifestyle of every Christian. The earlier you realize this, the better for you. The reason is that you’ll be confronted with several challenges along your path. Amidst these, your testimony must remain consistent with what God has said. The Bible says, And being not weak in faith, he (Abraham) considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God   (Romans 4:19-20) . People laughed at and made mockery of Abraham, yet, he kept testifying that God has made him the father of many nations and his wife, Sarah, mother of princes. At the end, his tongue-work produced for him a son just as the Lord had said. Moreover, the Bible says, And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved no

YOU CAN CALL FORTH YOUR HARVEST ANYTIME

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease   (Genesis 8:22) . The Lord didn't say, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest time…shall not cease.” To say “seed time and harvest time” suggests that there’s a definite time of sowing and a definite time of harvest. But “seedtime and harvest” means harvest is anytime. In other words, you might as well consider today the day of harvest! What the Lord is saying to us here is that though there be seed time (a time of sowing), there’s no fixed time for your harvest; you can call it forth anytime! So your harvest ought to come in ways that are supernatural. For example, the Bible says Isaac sowed during the time of famine—a time when it was naturally impossible for harvest—yet he received in the same year a hundredfold   (Genesis 26:12-13) . Others sowed beside Isaac and got no harvest, yet Isaac reaped a miraculous harvest at the tim

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) WED MAY 20TH, 2015

Psalm 33:10-12 declares: "Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. 11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance". In both 15 mins sessions today, we'll pray mostly in tongues and also pray specially for churches of Christ around the world having difficulties with civil or government agencies, which have frustrated their activities or ministry in their locality; pray for churches facing challenges in courts of law, that the Lord may intervene swiftly in their behalf. Our God is gracious and greater than all. Hallelujah! God bless you.

TRAIN YOURSELF TO RECOGNIZE GOD’S VOICE

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27) There’re those who don’t believe God still talks to people today like He did in Bible days. So when they hear someone say, “God talked to me,” it beats their imagination. Well, the truth is God loves to talk to His children. He’s a master communicator who thinks you’re important enough for Him to talk to. If you've never heard Him, maybe you've not been listening. It’s also possible that God could have been talking to you and you didn't know it was Him. Remember the story of the little boy, Samuel. God called him three times, but he thought it was Eli the priest (1 Samuel 3:3-10). Why? Because, a lot of times when God talks, He uses a familiar voice. God still talks to us today; in fact, He does every day! He can talk to you in a familiar voice, and in a language you understand. Start training yourself to recognize His voice. The more you study and familiarize yourself with God’s Word, the easi

PRESSING ON TOWARD GOD’S BEST

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before   ( Philippians 3:13) The Apostle Paul got a hold of a revelation which was so precious to him, and he summed it up in the opening verse. The words “this” and “I do” in the King James are italicized, showing that they weren't in the original manuscript. So, what Paul was actually saying was “I count not myself to “have apprehended but one thing: forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before “. He had learnt to forget the past and look forward. He had learnt to forget his old life as a Jew; he had learnt to look at the pictures of his new life in Christ. This was what kept Paul so far ahead of others. We must learn to forget the past and look ahead. I believe that it’s been a great year for you so far, and I want to remind you of these precious words. It’

GOD’S WORD; THE NOURISHMENT FOR THE HUMAN SPIRIT

The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God]is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts  (Proverbs 20:27 AMP) The reason God wants you to nurture and develop your spirit after you’re born again is that it’s only through your spirit that you can make contact with Him. God  doesn't  appeal to the human mind or the senses; He communicates and leads you through your spirit. When a man is born again, he receives the life and nature of God into his spirit. Therefore, the changes that are later observed in his soul and body are initiated from his spirit. The Bible says that the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord (Proverbs 20:27). The light of God is not in your mind but in your spirit. Your spirit is where the Word of God illuminates (Psalm 18:28). The human spirit feeds on the Word of God. You need to constantly feed and nurture your heart with the Word of God. I’m not talking about the organ that pumps blood through

LEARN TO PRAY FOR YOUR NATION

And seek the peace of the city and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace  (Jeremiah 29:7) It’s imperative that you learn to take time out to pray for the nation where you live. It’s not enough to complain or grumble about what the Government is doing or not doing. You’re God’s agent of change in that nation; so, rise up to your calling. You have a responsibility to effect positive changes in the nation where you live, and a most effective way to achieve this is through prayer. God told His people to pray for the nation where they were held in captivity, because their peace was tied to the peace of that nation. This should let you know how important it is to pray for your nation. The same thought was reiterated by the Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy in  1 Timothy 2:1-2;  “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority;

RID YOUR MIND OF THE WRONG STUFF

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things  (Philippians 4:8) The mind is a vital part of the human make-up. It’s our storehouse of information, and it matters the kind of information you keep in it, for that can accelerate or retard your progress.  Philippians 4:8  gives us a guide on how to control our minds and use it to process only the right information. Don’t waste your mind on carnal, unproductive thoughts, for the carnal mind is enmity against God  (Romans 8:7) . The information you store in your mind tells  a lot  about you. Just as a man who loves to study would have a library of books, or a music lover a collection of music or a florist a garden of lovely flowers, what you “collect” in your mind reflects what you’re most concerned abo

CHOOSE TO PRAY

“ I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting ” (1 Timothy 2:8) As a Christian, prayer is your life’s work, and the best way to learn to pray is to pray. It’s not enough to pray only when you feel like it; culture yourself to do it whether or not you feel like. Jesus said in Luke 18:1, “… men ought always to pray, and not to faint ” He  didn't  say, “men ought always to pray when they feel like!” Moreover, you have the power to decide what you want to do, so choose to pray. Take for example, Paul’s admonition to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:2: “ Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine .” Here, the Spirit of God teaches us something important, letting us know that whether or not we feel like it, in every season, we ought to preach the Gospel.  The same thing applies with prayer; you pray in season and out of season! So there’s no excuse not to pray. Make a
