God told Abraham to give Him his only son as a burnt sacrifice. When he was about to do it, God stopped him, saying, ‘…lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything upon him: for now I know that thou feareth God, Seeing thou hast not with held thy Son, thine only Son from me” (Genesis 22:12). Can you see that Abraham’s action was a proof of his faith? Though he had been walking with the Lord, he had to prove his commitment through his giving. God told him what to give and he gave it. His action was a proof of his commitment to God. The quality of your seed will always determine your level of commitment. There is no other way. You are not committed to something you don’t give into; it is self deception to think otherwise. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38). God is the greatest giver there is. The Bible says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son…” (John 3:16). His love motivated Him to give the greatest gift of all: His precious Son Jesus Christ. It’s God’s nature to give. No wonder the Bible declares that He’s given us ALL things that pertain to life and to godliness (2 Peter 1:3). God is always excited whenever His children demonstrate His giving nature. A giver will never live in poverty or lack because the Bible says “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself” (Proverbs 11:25). Inverting this statement, you’ll easily deduce that the one who is stingy and greedy will not experience the blessing of the giver as the Scripture here reveals

God wants you rich and extremely prosperous .You can’t pretend that money isn’t important. I am sure that the reason you work, isn’t because you love your country. The reason you work is primarily because you need the money to take  care of yourself and have things going well for you. Don’t think for a second that because you are born again, you would get a ‘special price’ whenever you want to make a purchase at the stores; there are no price concessions for Christians at the fuel stations or shopping malls. Furthermore, it takes money to reach the world for Jesus with the latest technology available to us today. Sadly, many shy away from talking about money in church for fear of been criticized. Mean while, everyone including Christians freely talk about money outside the Church building. It is important for you to know that God wants you to be rich; he wants you to have money. The Lord Jesus encouraged us to give in Luke 6:38 because you should always have something to give;

God is a “blessing-God”; He always loves to bless people. The Bible says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).  In other words, He’s constantly looking around for someone to do something good for, someone to bless. But to do this, He won’t come down from heaven; He needs someone in the earth to bless another person. In Luke 6:38 , the scripture proves that every one of God’s Children could and should live in abundance every day of their lives. When the Lord Jesus said, “Give and it shall be given unto you…” He wasn’t specific on what to give. He just instructed us to give! When we talk of giving, people immediately think we are referring to giving of our substance, though that’s part of it. And they think, ‘I don’t have anything to give; but thinking t his way is thinking in one direction. How about love? What about help? You can give these. It doesn’t matter how low you are in life, you always have something to give. If you want men to give you, you must first learn to give. It is impossible for the Word of God to fail; make up your mind to do what the Word says and your life will produce Word-based results.

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” (Hebrews 13:5) In the scripture above, the Lord didn’t say “Be satisfied with whatever you have, be it little or much,” as some folks believe. He wasn’t preaching about materialism and the need for contentment in life, though that’s a good lesson to learn from that scripture; there’s something bi gger in there! When He says “be content with such things as ye have,” He’s letting you know that all you have is all you need! That means, with what you have in your hands (no matter how small) God can produce anything you want! When Jesus was told the wine had finished at the wedding in Canaan, He was unmoved. He simply looked around, saw the water pots and instructed the servants to fill the water pots with water, and the water became wine (John 2:7). It would interest you to know that it wasn’t potable water that turned to wine –

The Christian is the true heir of all the blessings of Abraham. Galatians 3:29 says, “ And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”   This means, it doesn’t matter where you are now or how you started in life, as you  e mbrace this truth today, you’d become a force to be reckoned with in all you do, and you’ll prosper beyond measure. Realize that God doesn’t need to make you rich now because He has alre ady done that; you have unlimited access to the vast treasures in the earth. You became an heir of all of God’s wealth and riches when you were born again! All you need now is to know God’s Word and use it to chart your course in life. Remember, you’ve been brought into a large place – your wealthy place in God; you were born into an incorruptible and inexhaustible inheritance. Praise God!

“The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…” (Romans 8:16–17) Being born again, you have an inheritance in Christ, Apostle Paul described this as unsearchable riches (Ephesians 3:8); wealth untold! It was bequeathed to you by the Monarch of the Universe  the One who said “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine…” (Haggai 2:8). All the wealth in this world belongs to God and by extension to you, for you are His heir. You are the heir of the mega-rich God; the fountain of riches. His wealth is limitless, inestimable and quantifiable. Thus you’re born into wealth untold! Your Father’s wealth isn’t subject to the market forces of this world, or the stability of the world’s economy. That’s why it’s an insult to God for His kids to be broke and live beggarly lives. “But thanks be unto God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57) God’s plan for you is to live a victorious life through His Word. He wants you to get a hold of His Word, study it and discover your inheritance. In Acts 20:32, the Apostle Paul said, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Then, Proverbs 11:9 tells us that through knowledge – revelation knowledge of God’s Word – shall the just be delivered into their inheritance. Thus, you have to know the Word, store it in you, and consciously put it to work in your life. That’s what puts you over in life. The Bible says “all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21); not “some things” but “all things!” That means there’s nothing you need today that’s not already been made available to you by God through the Word. “Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defense, and thou shall have plenty of silver” (Job 22:24-25). If you’ve ever wiped a table clean of dust, you’d have observed that after some time, some dust still managed to accumulate on the same surface you wiped so clean. This parallels the prosperity of the believer in Christ. When the Bible says you shall lay up gold as dust, it’s telling you your supply will never end! So you don’t ever have to think or talk lack, for you’re plugged to an unending supply. No wonder David said, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures…” (Psalm 23:1-2). Therefore, never be afraid when it looks as though you just used up your last savings. SEED TIME! “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22) The above Scripture was God’s solemn declaration to Noah, his household and to all creation after the flood. It elucidates the kingdom principle which states that when I sow my seed, I have every right to expect a harvest from it. The Scripture says ‘seedtime and harvest’ and not ‘seedtime and harvest time.’ Meaning that there is a specific time to sow in order to activate God’s anointing on your behalf for a multiplied and sustained harvest. Isaac dwelt in the land of Gerar (Genesis 26:6); a land already ravaged by famine. When everyone left town for Egypt- the land of corn and wine, Isaac was moved to do the same; he had forgotten that Abraham, his father, prospered wherever he went, irrespective of the prevailing economic conditions. Just when he was about to leave Gerar, God spoke to him: “do as I say and stay in this land. If you do, I will be with you and bless you… just as I promised Abr

“…though he was so very rich, yet to help you he became so very poor, so that by being poor he could make you rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9 TLB). The Scripture above is our guarantee for a life of supernatural abundance. The riches we have in Christ are impossible to quantify. Amidst these riches, some people still find it increasingly difficult to believe what the Scripture above says. Job 22:24 says, “Thou shalt lay-up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks”. This presupposes that our wealth is inexhaustible. Again the Bible says of the Lord Jesus “…though he was (so very) rich, yet for your sake he became (so very) poor, in order that by his poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied)” ( 2 Corinthians 8:9 Amp). One thing religious folks can’t stand is prosperity. It makes them uncomfortable and restless. But if they would spend more time with their Bibles and believe what they read, they will come to the full knowledge of the truth. Prosperity

God has called and chosen you for a purpose, and that is to show forth through you His manifold wisdom and demonstrate His excellence to your world. It’s His purpose and desire to prove His extraordinary greatness in your life.
