When we first started out in the ministry, those who came to us – those we ministered to and won to Christ – were those who some other Christians thought were carnal, broken, dejected or too lost to be transformed. But we had something, the anointing, and that made the difference. Today, the stories of all those that came to us have changed, and these are the ones doing great and mighty things for the Lord all around the world. In Isaiah 32:15, the Bible says “Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.” The Holy Spirit brings the anointing into your life and makes you productive.  “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13) Proclaiming what you already believe in your heart strengthens your spirit and causes the Word to be active in your life. Our confessions of faith change and transform us, causing us to experience the realities of the Gospel in our lives. God created the world by His spoken Word. He said “let there be…” (Genesis 1:3, 6, 14), and there was! In other words, whatever He spoke came into being. Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “for he hath said …So that we may boldly say…” He taught us to boldly make faith proclamations. Jesus taught us the same when He said in Mark 11:23 ‘you shall have whatever you say.’ When you speak God’s Word in faith, the Spirit of God causes it to come to pass. So today, proclaim the Word boldly in faith concerning any challenging situation you may be facing. Remember, what you say is what you get, so speak

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you” (John 16:23) As a Christian, a proper understanding of your relationship with the Father is vital for your communication with Him through prayer. When you pray, you don’t need an intermediary between you and the Father. This means, praying through Jesus is wrong. Rather, the Bible says to pray in the Name of Jesus, this means you are standing in His place; you’ve become His voice! Also, as Christians, we don’t ask the Father to grant our requests for “Jesus’ sake,” for God wouldn’t answer your prayers for Jesus’ sake. He loves you as much as He loves Jesus (John 17:23). So when you pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus, it’s as though Jesus Himself were praying, because you stand in His stead. The Bible says in Philippians 2:9, that “…God also hath highly exalted him (Jesus), and given him a name which is above every name.” In other words

“Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18). The Bible tells us that our Heavenly Father knows what things we have need of, before we ask Him (Matthew 6:8). So why then do we still pray? Firstly, man is a free moral agent, with the rights and the power of choice. God never enforces His will, purpose or choice on anyone. That’s where prayer comes in. You’d have to dialogue or commune with Him in prayer concerning your desires, even though He already knows what’s in your heart. God needs you to cooperate with Him to bring His Will and good pleasure to pass in your life. The principle is that two can’t walk together except they agree (Amos 3:3). You agree with God when you speak the same things He has said concerning you in prayer. That way, you side up with Him to have His Word come to pass in your life. Do you know you can argue your case before the Lord in prayer? Yes, you can turn your closet into a courtroom and bring forth your strong reasons for demanding a particular change, or insisting that things turn out in a certain way for you or for your loved ones. The Bible says, “Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob” (Isaiah 41:21).  It’s serious and intense prayer, the kind for which you shut your door and say, “I must have a miracle today!” What if after praying for a while, you’re still not satisfied that it’s done? Well, that just means “case adjourned!” Your prayer closet now becomes a courtroom where you plead your case. If you’re not yet convinced it’s done, go back to the Word, research and produce more evidence. Pray earnestly in the spirit, i.e. in other tongues. It’s easy for many to accept that when a man confesses the Lord Jesus and believes that God raised Him from the dead, he is saved. But they find it difficult to accept that by the same token, that man is delivered from sickness. If the salvation of your spirit is that simple, why do you expect healing for your physical body to be complicated? Jesus bore your sins as well as your sickness in the same sacrifice. 1 Peter 2:24 says, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” All you have to do is to accept it and walk in the light of it. “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23). The above statement gives us a supernatural law that works without fail and produces results. Our situations may differ, but God’s Word is just like the sun; it gives light to the one who needs it, warmth to those who require warmth, and energy to the one who requires it. You can have whatever you say – it’s a law! ‘ This mountain” in the above Scripture could represent anything. For example, getting a job may be the mountain you face, and you’ve got to be specific when you speak to it. There’s a constant filling of the Spirit that you ought to be experiencing daily. God says, “be filled with the Spirit”, meaning it’s your responsibility to be filled. He also lets you know how to do it  He says, “Speaking to yourselves in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs…” this doesn’t mean speaking to one another; it means I’m talking to me and you’re talking to you! Words are important in the Kingdom of God. God wants you to speak to yourself in Psalms and hymns and Spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:18-19). As you do, you are constantly being filled with the Spirit, and it becomes impossible for you to despair, be frustrated or despondent in life. But you can extinguish that fire by speaking negatively. When you say things like, “life is so hard; things are so bad; I don’t know what’s happening to me; I’m so frustrated…” You actually extinguish the fire of God’s Spirit in your life. Everything that God is and all that He has made you can only be revealed to you by the Spirit. Sadly, there are people today who go to Church but you can tell they haven’t received the Holy Spirit. I wonder what in the world they are waiting for. Receiving the Holy Spirit is not optional for any child of God. When a Christ shows up at the rapture, it will take the Holy Spirit to get you out of here! You need to know this – there is no Christianity without the Holy Spirit. Christianity without the Holy Spirit is a joke! PHRONESIS is the last kind of wisdom. It’s the highest level of wisdom. PHRONESIS is a mindset. It’s a fixed mental attitude that influences your actions in any given situation. PHRONESIS is a force; a compelling force that regulates your being! This kind of wisdom causes you to think, reason and behave in a certain way.
