BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

“ Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out ” (Deuteronomy 28:6). Have you ever realized that God’s desire is not just to bless you, but to make you a blessing? Yes, it’s true, and that’s God’s purpose for your life. In Genesis 12:2, God said to Abraham, “… I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing …” When you understand this, you would realize that as a seed of Abraham, the reason for your life is to be a blessing! Now that you’re in Christ, God’s desire isn’t to change your life alone; He desires to bless all others connected to you – you are the blessing! This is why you ought to live from a position of rest; happy, joyful and fulfilled. In the midst of darkness, you ought to shine brightly, because that’s what your life is for. Never get carried away by all the troubles and problems around you. No! The Bible says, “ A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. DON'T LAG IN ZEAL - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD SUNDAY, MAY 8TH 2016

Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord (Romans 12:11). The Apostle Paul, in our opening verse, admonishes the Church on the right and proper attitude to maintain in serving the Lord. He says, "Don't be slothful in business," meaning that you shouldn't lag in zeal, but fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. The word "fervent" as used in this context is translated from the Greek "zeĆ³," which means to boil with heat for liquids, and to glow with heat for solids. That means there's a boiling in your spirit with the Word of God, and a glow on the outside. That means you're on fire for God. Clearly, God wants you to be zealous in the Church. He doesn't want you to be lukewarm or complacent. Some people are that way; they're neither here nor there, and God doesn't like it. His Word shows us His disposition towards spiritual lethargy and complacency. In Revelation 3:15-16, He said to the church at Laodicea, ...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. THINK DIFFERENTLY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD SATURDAY, MAY 7TH 2016

Let your conversation be without covetousness...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6). The economic situation in the world today may have left many homeless and terrified, bus as a Christian, you must think differently, because you're not of this world. You're from another plane, a higher realm, where you live above the elements and rudiments of this world. Colossians 2:20 lets us know that you're dead with Christ to the rudiments of the world. The world's economic systems can't work against you. Understand that everything in this world is an instrument for your use. They shouldn't rule over you; the economy shouldn't dominate you, or dictate the circumstances of your existence. You're greater than inflation and the economy. You're bigger than this world! 1 John 5:4 says, "For whatsoever is born of God ov...

@PastorChrisLive PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - FRIDAY MAY 6TH 2016

We're in Israel and enjoying every moment of it; following in the steps of the prophets, Jesus, and the apostles.  Wonderful indeed! In both sessions of prayer today and Friday, we'll pray for Israel and its people: pray for the peace of Jerusalem as psalm 122:6-7 tells us "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces". God bless you

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. CHALLENGES ARE YOUR OPPORTUNITIES - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD FRIDAY, MAY 6TH 2016.

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children...No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it (Hebrews 12:7-11 NIV). The Bible says, "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him..." (2 Chronicles 16:9). That means He's watching and looking for opportunities to manifest His glory on your behalf. He never leaves you alone. He never lets you down. He's moved with the feeling of our infirmities (Hebrews 4:15). He knows when you go through pain, and seeks to get you out of every predicament. Every human need is God's opportunity to bless. He wants to meet every human need. Actually, He's already done that in Christ Jesus, but some are yet to fully understand and accept what He's done. When you have a problem, when you...

MAY: THE MONTH OF BLESSINGS

Relive the surreal moment of declaration through the Spirit, as Pastor Chris' announces May 2016 as 'the Month of Blessings'.  Reading (Genesis 1:26-31) he declares the theme of the month of May. The man of God also proclaimed words of Blessings in line with the word. We are right in the position and timing for special blessings. Before you recognize your need the answer has come, the supply has come. Refuse to accommodate the consciousness of lack. Speak blessings this month, be blessings conscious. In you prayer declare blessings, see blessings only. Be blessed as you watch. Share video with friends. God bless you.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. YOU'RE THE SYMBOL OF PROSPERITY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD THURSDAY 5TH MAY, 2016

And if ye Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29). Psalm 1:3 says concerning the one who delights in the Word and meditates on it day, and night: "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. “In the world today, many are confused, not knowing which way to go. For example, people switch jobs and businesses, looking for the one that's more "lucrative." As a Christian, you should be led of the Spirit, because you're the seed of Abraham. Anything you touch is blessed. Everything you do prospers. Your decisions or choices shouldn't primarily be motivated by financial factors, but by the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Your success or prosperity is about who you are, and not about what business or job you do. You carry a blessing. When you step into a place, thing...

STAND YOUR GROUND

“ Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest ” (Joshua 1:9). Irrespective of the challenges that may come your way in life, you must learn to stand your ground in faith. Never allow what you hear, or see with your physical eyes cause you to lose heart and start voicing fear; stand your ground and keep talking your way to victory. When the enemy seeks to put fear in your heart by bombarding your mind with negative thoughts, refuse to fear, counter those thoughts with words of faith! Do what Caleb and Joshua did; out of the twelve spies Moses sent to spy out Canaan, only the two of them stood their ground in faith. They said concerning the giants “ they are bread for us: their defense is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not ” (Numbers 14:9). That’s the voice of faith, and faith is what gives you the victory! (1 John 5:4) In Mark 9...

SEEING WITH YOUR SPIRITUAL EYES

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16). The words of the Spirit by the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 lets us know that we’re not to faint or give up when we face adversities. It says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Whatever you might be going through today, if you’d maintain your confidence in the Word, that particular experience will produce for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. How will this happen? It’s by you refusing to look at “the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.” That means you shouldn't consider the things that are obvious to the optical eyes or the senses. This doesn...

@PastorChrisLive PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - WED MAY 4TH 2016

We're in Israel and enjoying every moment of it; following in the steps of the prophets, Jesus, and the apostles.  Wonderful indeed! In both sessions of prayer today and Friday , we'll pray for Israel and its people: pray for the peace of Jerusalem as psalm 122:6-7 tells us "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL YOUR MISSION IN LIFE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD WEDNESDAY, MAY 4TH 2016.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned (Mark 16:15-16). As Christians, we're on a mission in the earth, and the clarity of our mission is so important. Many people live without purpose, focus and direction; but when you give your heart to Christ, He gives you a clear mission, a definite purpose for living. In our opening scripture, the Lord Jesus was unequivocal about our mission; it's for us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. Therefore, let your life count for the Gospel. No matter who you are, where you are, what you do, and where you do what you do, your primary assignment and purpose for living is to Minister God's Word to those in your world. Your mission is to reach and win the lost to Jesus. Christianity is about soul winning. Therefore, keep talking to others about Jesus, and let your...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL LOOK INWARDS FOR THE PERFECT GLORY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD TUESDAY, 3RD MAY 2016.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). Exodus 24:16 tells us how the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the glory-cloud covered it for six days. It shows us something: the glory of God’s presence, assumed the visible form of a cloud over Mount Sinai. This physical manifestation of God’s glory was easier for the Jewish congregation in the wilderness to relate with, because they were men and women of the senses. Today, however, there’re still some in the Church who want to relate with the glory of God from a physical perspective. For example, when you talk about the glory of God being present in a Church meeting, they expect to see a cloud or some physical manifestation as it was in the Old Testament; but God’s purpose is beyond having the glory in the building or environment. No doubt, some people would have their faith bolstered if they saw something...

ABRAHAM’S BLESSINGS ARE YOURS!

When you were born again, you became the seed of Abraham and thus the inheritor of the Abrahamic blessing. Your relationship with Christ has made you the real descendant of Abraham, and therefore possessor of the blessings God conferred on Him. Galatians 3:29 says “ And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise . ” As the seed of Abraham, nothing is too good for you; you’re blessed beyond measure! Failure, sickness, diseases, lack and death are not consistent with your life anymore. As Abraham’s seed, the works of your hands are blessed; you are ordained to succeed. Fruitfulness and productivity have become your birthright. This is your heritage as the seed of Abraham. A lady once said “I’ve been married for many years and I’ve not been able to have children; the doctor said I’m barren” No! Not when you’re the seed of Abraham! Abraham’s seed  can’t  be barren; it’s impossible because the Bible says “… there shall not be male or fe...

LET THE SPIRIT GUIDE YOU TO PROSPERITY

“ Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great ” (Genesis 26:12-13) The Bible says Isaac waxed great, went forward, and grew until he became very great; what a life! As the seed of Abraham, this is the life to which you’ve been called. You are set apart to make progress and be successful in every area of your life, irrespective and independent of the surrounding circumstances. During a time of famine and great dearth in the Land of Gerar, many made their exit to a seemingly more profitable economy in Egypt, but God instructed Isaac to stay and sow in the same land. Isaac obeyed, and his obedience paid off, as he got richer by the day, until he became a dominant force in the land (Genesis 26:13-14). The secret to a life of progress and unending prosperity is in heeding to the counsel and direction given to you by the Holy Spirit. Wherever He t...

YOU ARE JOINT-HEIRS WITH CHRIST

“ The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein ” (Psalm 24:1) All the wealth and riches of this world belong to Jesus, and the good news is, you’ve been made a joint-heir with Him  (Romans 8:17) . Being a joint-heir with Christ means you have full ownership and access to the vast treasures and resources in the earth that belong to Jesus. When the Lord said through the prophet Isaiah, “ And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places … ” (Isaiah 45:3), it was a promise, which now has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus. The treasures and hidden riches of secret places have been delivered to you. No wonder the Bible declares that all things are yours  (1 Corinthians 3:21).  Long before you came on the scene, God deposited great reserves of treasure for you in this world; this is described in Ephesians 3:8 as “ unsearchable riches of Christ ” – inexhaustible wealth! Recognize today, t...

POSITIONED FOR GLORY

“ According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue ” (2 Peter 1:3-4). God has positioned you for a life of glory, and to live that transcendent glory-life He has called and positioned you for, your outlook on life must be from the perspective of His Word. You must live in the light of His Word and cease to observe situations like an ordinary man. God has already done all that’s necessary for you to experience His glory here in the earth. But sadly, many Christians still make the mistake of waiting for Him to do something about their situation. Some even say they’re waiting for Him to take them to the Promised Land – that good and prosperous place, flowing with milk and honey. What such folks haven’t realized is that in the mind of God they’re already in the Promised Land! They got there the moment they were born again. In other words, they are already positioned i...

FREE MESSAGE from Pastor Chris - Faith Toward God

This is the free message announced during the MAY 2016 Global communion Service with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome PHD

PROSPERITY IN THE WORD

God’s desire is for every one of His children to prosper. He wants everyone to see your progress. He wants them to take notice of what He is doing in your life. Some people think that it’s just okay to get by in life from day-to-day, but God thinks otherwise. He loves to boast of you! He wants His blessing in your life to spread until nobody can deny it. The Bible had this to say concerning Isaac, “…the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: for he had possession of flocks, and possessions of herds and great store of servants: and the philistines envied him” (Genesis 26:13-14). Paul the Apostle gave Timothy the secret to evident progress. He said, “Meditate on these things (the Word of God); give yourself wholly entirely to them.” You may ask “is it that simple?” emphatically yes! He is saying that if you meditate on the Word and give yourself to it, your progress will spread abroad. If you do as the Lord says, that little business of yours can b...

UNCONDITIONAL PROSPERITY

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8). There’s been so much fear and apprehension about the economic situation in the world. Some of the erstwhile biggest and richest multinational corporations have gone bankrupt, and the economies of several nations are still groaning with the pangs of global recession. Indeed, so much has happened in the last decade to warrant such concerns. But if you’re born again you don’t need to fear or fret, for you play by a different set of rules. Thus the economic crunch and hardship that affect the peoples of the world ought not to overthrow you. In the midst of the recession you can have increasing prosperity, for that’s the life you’ve been called ...

BLESSED UNCONDITIONALLY

“Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life ” (Romans 5:18). Under the Old Testament, God’s blessings for the children of Israel were preconditioned on their obedience to the Law. They had to obey the Law to enjoy the benefits of the first covenant. For example, in Exodus 19:5-6, God had desired that the children of Israel walk as kings and priests before Him, but their obedience was a prerequisite for the blessings to take effect in their lives: “ Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation .” However, they broke His laws and couldn’t enjoy the blessings. But this isn’t the case with us today in the New Testament. Colossians 1:12 says “ Giving thanks unto the Father, whic...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. IT'S A GLORIOUS LIFE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD MONDAY, MAY 2ND 2016.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3). Christianity isn't a life without challenges, and oppositions, yet it's a glorious life indeed, because irrespective of the tests, trials, and persecutions, you're always triumphant. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place." The Bible says ...we're more than conquerors through Him that loved us (Romans 8:37). Therefore, count it all joy when you go through diverse tests (James 1:2). The Lord has said that when you go through the fire, you shall not be burnt, neither is there any flood severe enough to drown you (Isaiah 43:2). You're not an ordinary person. You're a victor every day, and at every count, and that makes you a "wonder" to...
