READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. LET HIM LIFT YOUR VISION - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SUNDAY,FEBRUARY 21ST,2016.

...Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God (Hebrews 11:5). Walking with the Holy Spirit is the secret to a life of absolute and unlimited success. When you walk with Him, He lifts your vision and enables you to see like God. You'll see what He sees that other men don't see. You'll find yourself living in a realm that the world doesn't think is real; the arena of the miraculous and supernatural. The Bible shows us something remarkable that happens when you walk with the Spirit: you're translated! Your vision is elevated. The Bible says, "...Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him..." (Hebrews 11:5). Like Enoch, you can walk with the Spirit of God and experience His translational power that you won't "see" death, which isn't just the cessati...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 20TH FEBRUARY 2016. COMMITTED TO THE SPREAD OF THE GOSPEL - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me (1 Corinthians 9:16-17). We have a divine commission to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Jesus said: “...Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). We must, therefore, realize that whatever persecution we endure on account of the Gospel is absolutely worth it. 2 Timothy 3:12 says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” You’re to remain steadfast and immovable, irrespective of the persecutions you may encounter as you propagate the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. Make a commitment that because of you, God will not be limited; let there be no limits to how far you’re willing to go, and do, for the Gospel. Like Jeremiah, irrespective of circ...

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - FRI FEB 19TH 2016

Our confessions rule us. Jesus taught that words are important, and we can have what we say. Learn more in today's rhapsody, or download from http://rhapsodyofrealities.org  For most of 15min at 12noon and 10pm (Local GMT), we'll pray fervently in tongues. As you pray, make bold declarations of your faith and expectations, refusing to be moved by circumstances and negative reports. The Word declares that our faith overcomes the world (1 John 5:4); "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:17,18). God bless you.

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. OUR CONFESSIONS RULE US – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19TH, 2016.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23). Proverbs 6:2 says, “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.” This scripture underscores the precarious situation many have found themselves in today. They’ve been taken captive by their negative confessions; bound by their words. However, if you’ve been taught right, you’ll think right, and the result of that is, you’ll talk right. Moreover, when you talk right, you’ll act right. When you talk right and act right, your life will turn out right. Our confessions rule us. When it comes to words, there’s no such thing as “I didn’t quite mean what I said.” Jesus said you shall have what you say; so don’t say it, if you didn’t mean it. Consciously speak in consonance...

PRAYER FOR YOU

Gracious Father, thank you for the privilege of being seated with you in the realms of power and glory; far above all principality, power, might and every domain of darkness! I reign with you today over the circumstances of life and over every negative force of nature, declaring that your perfect and eternal will is fulfilled in my life; in my health, job, family, finances, and in the lives of those around me, in Jesus' name. Amen.

IMPROVE YOUR SPIRITUAL VOCABULARY

“I thank my God; I speak with tongues more than ye all”. (1 Corinthians 14:18). The apostle Paul had the boldness to assert in his letter to the Corinthian Church, “I speak with tongues more than you all”. He must have observed something about them that made him arrive at this conclusion. Many of God’s Children need to exercise their spiritual vocabulary by speaking in tongues more often. This is very important because if neglected, a Christian will continue speaking the same tongues year after year which isn’t adequate for living victoriously here on earth. If you’re this way, you’ll find that after speaking in tongues for a few minutes, it sort of ‘dries up’ and you don’t pray for long. This is why you have to receive new tongues from time to time, thus getting better at speaking the heavenly language. Many times as you listen to the Word, in Church or even at home, you hear something that causes words to bubble up within you. Don’t suppress that spiritual excitement; g...

PRAYING IN THE NAME OF JESUS!

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you (John 16:23)   Notice in the latter part of the scripture above that Jesus didn’t say “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father through my name, he will give it you.” Before you were born again, the Name of Jesus was given to you so you could come through that Name to the Father and be saved. Jesus said, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). In other words, He said, “Come to God through me!”   Now, having accepted His invitation and have come to the Father through Him, you’ve received eternal life and have become a partaker of the divine nature! You’re now one with Him; you’re now a citizen of the Kingdom of God. Now that you’re in His kingdom, you have His life, you have already come to the Father and you don’t go back. You came to the Father at the new birth through Christ, and...

DON’T STOP UNTIL THERE’S A CHANGE! (FAITH).

Do you know your persistency in prayer is absolutely vital to changing your circumstances? Sometimes when you have a matter to settle or you desire a change in a situation you don’t have full jurisdiction over, you have to continue in prayer until that change comes. Now this doesn’t negate faith nor mean you’re unbelieving. Actually, the reason you choose not to give up or shift grounds is because you’re acting your faith. The Bible says that ’’… The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working) (James 5:16 b AMP)’’. Many are too used to praying “emergency prayers” that don’t work. They wait until the pressure mounts and then start pushing panic-buttons and praying fast prayers for fast answers. But Elijah knew better. We read in our opening scripture what he did when he wanted a miracle: he cast himself down upon the earth and put his head between his knees, praying heartfelt, continued prayer (1 Kings 18:42-44...

MINISTER TO THE LORD

“Now there were in the church at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; …as they ministered to the lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said…” (Acts 13:1-2) It’s vital to learn how to minister to the Lord, and more importantly, to know when to pray the prayer of worship. The opening scripture says ’’…as they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said…’’; letting us know that the power of God’s Spirit is manifested as we minister to the Lord, in an atmosphere of true worship. To minister to Lord is to pray and worship according to His Word and to make confessions to His Name. Confession comes from the Greek word ‘Homologia’ which means speaking the same thing in consent or consonance with God; to say what God has said in agreement with Him. So in ministering to the Lord you say beautiful things about Him and revere His awesome majesty in line with the revelation of His personality in the Word. Ministering to the Lord is a very important aspect of our Christian s...

WE’RE GOD’S GLADIATORS

You know, it’s one thing to know how to read your Bible, pray every day and go to church when you should, but it’s another thing to live a victorious life. It’s one thing to be militant in your spirit but another thing entirely to understand the battle and be victorious in it. When you say, “ The battle is the Lord’s,” there’s a lot more to it than that. It’s the Lord’s battle alright, but He calls you His battle axe and weapons of war (Jeremiah 51:20). In Jericho, God didn’t command us to stand still. We don’t stand still; the generation that stood still has died. Moses said to that generation, “Hey, stand still and see the salvation of God” (Exodus 14:13) – because they had the slave mentality – but remember, God’s response was an urgent one“Go forward!” Now, this is not the generation with the slave mentality; this new generation has the warrior mentality.   We’re God’s gladiators, and He continually urges us to go forward and launch the offensive against the enemy. In ...

“MEDITATION “YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8) This scripture is your recipe for success. The Amplified version says: “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe {and} do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely {and} have good success.” Notice it didn’t say “God shall make your way prosperous,” but that “YOU shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely in the affairs of life and have good success.” But for this to happen, you must meditate on the Word. This is what many haven’t learnt; the importance and power of meditation. The subject of your meditation should be consistent with the prov...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. MANIFESTING THE WILL AND NATURE OF GOD BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH 2016.

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24). The verse above is rendered beautifully in the Amplified version. It says, and put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in Gods image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness. The phrase, which after God means in the likeness of God. You’re created to be like God in righteousness and true holiness. And what is righteousness? It’s the expression of the will and nature of the Father. Therefore, when the Bible says to put on the new nature, which is created in righteousness, it means that you should walk in the light of who you are: give expression to the will and nature of the Father! The power to please Him always, everywhere, and in all things bearing testimony to His character, and nature by your life, actions, and words is in your spirit. You’re called to manifest and administer the will, purpose, and character of God. This is true righteousness. ...

EXPECT A MIRACLE WHEN YOU PRAY!

How do you explain that you pray to a God you do not see? Praying and expecting an answer reveals a desire for the miraculous. It shows the depth of a man’s desire to communicate with the supernatural. Every answered prayer is a miracle, irrespective of what is prayed about. Often times, God demonstrates His sovereignty by performing a miracle for you when you are not expecting it or when you think you don’t deserve it; He shows up on your behalf in His love for you. In our day, we cannot overemphasize the need and importance of miracles. It is the calling of every Christian to live in the realm of the supernatural. Miracles are the acts of God; He demonstrates His love and closeness to us through the supernatural manifestations in our lives. People pray everywhere irrespective of their religions and expect an answer because it is wrong to pray without expecting an answer. Your expectation of an answer is faith; when He answers, there is a miracle! Expect God to answer your p...

RESPOND FROM YOUR SPIRIT - MY SPIRIT CAN NOT BE CRIPPLED BECAUSE MY FAITH OVERCOMES ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Romans 10:8 tells us that the word of salvation is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. Verses 9-10, also place much emphasis on the heart, that is, the human spirit, because you believe with your spirit. Your spirit makes contact with God. That’s the reason believing is very important. Faith is not a response of the brain or of the mind; it’s the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. Recall the encounter between the Lord Jesus and the man with the withered arm; Jesus called him forth while He was teaching in the synagogue and said, “…Stretch forth thy hand….” (Matthew 12:13). How could he have done it when he had a withered arm? Read the concluding part of the verse: “…And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.” How did that happen? That was faith. What is faith? Faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. The man heard Jesus in his spirit and acted upon His in...

@PastorChrisLive on Yookos. PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - WED FEB 17TH 2016

In 1 Corinthians 16:9 Paul the Apostle stated: "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries". In both 15mins sessions at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray mostly in the spirit, and also pray specially for ministers of the gospel and missionaries around the world, thanking the Lord for the doors of opportunities opened unto them for the Gospel of Christ; and every hindrance, adversary or adversity in their path be removed. For, says the Lord "I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron" (Isaiah 45.2). Affirm that our spirit inspired efforts are effective and the work of the ministry prospers mightily through us, as we keep spreading to the glory of God. Hallelujah! God bless you.

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. AUTHORITY TO FORGIVE SINS – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH, 2016.

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whosesoever sins ye retain, they are retained (John 20:23). In Mark 2, the Bible tells us how a crowd gathered unto Jesus in a house, jamming the entrance that no one could get in or out. Four men, who weren’t able to get in, because of the crowd, removed a part of the roof, and lowered their friend, a paralyzed man, on a stretcher down to Jesus said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” Jesus didn’t touch him or even say anything about the man’s sickness or his physical condition. However, He dealt with the man’s spiritual condition first, because his physical condition was created by his spiritual condition. In the fifth verse, Jesus said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” Some religious scholars present became indignant, and murmured, “Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only?” (Mark 2:7). You see, they knew that Jesus had power to heal, but they...

BEAUTIFUL THINGS ABOUT PRAYER YOU NEED TO KNOW.

1. When you pray you see visions. 2. You receives direction 3. Driving force 4. Focus 5. Resources (human/financial resources) are channeled towards you. POSITIONS OF PRAYER 1. LYING DOWN: when you lie down to pray, it’s a position of prayer of worship/praise 2. KNEELING DOWN: Kneeling down to prayer is the best position to take when you have an issue to settle. God can't bear to see His children kneeling before Him and not respond to them fast. 3. STANDING: a position of authority. You stand to issue command and declarations. #PastorChris @PRC2016

ARISE, YOUR LIGHT HAS COME!

Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! [Zech. 8:23.] Jesus is the light so arise, get up, wake up because your light has come! Don’t look down anymore for all you‘ll see are the problems and challenges you’re going through. Rather look up to the light. The Apostle Paul preaching in Lystra said to a man impotent in his feet “arise” and the man leaped and walked (Acts 14:8-10). An angel walked into the prison where the Apostle Peter was and immediately the chain he was bound with fell; the angel didn’t have to break the chains nor did he have to open the door because it opened on its own accord (Acts 12:7-10). The Chains that have kept you down were broken a long time ago, you’re out of bondage, Hallelujah! At the beginning of this year the lord told us that it is The Year of Spreading. This is no...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. DISPENSER OF HIS GOODNESS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME TUESDAY,FEBRUARY 16TH,2016.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [Gods] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 AMP). Our opening verse says He's called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. This means that you've been called and sent by God to manifest and administer the will, purpose, and character of God to your world; you have become a dispenser of His goodness. Sadly, some think they've been called out of darkness, and are journeying into the marvelous light; no! You've been brought out of darkness and translated, transferred into Gods marvelous light. In the mind of God, you're not trying to get there; you're there now! Not only are you the recipient of Gods blessings, or of His righteousness, you've also become the dispenser of His goodness. This is your job; this is your mini...
