READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL JOYFUL ATMOSPHERE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. SUNDAY, MARCH 26TH .

The “fruit of the Spirit” as used above means the product or feature of the recreated human spirit, one of which is joy. Joy is something you have within you; you can be joyful always, irrespective and independent of circumstances. Someone might say, “Well, I find it difficult to be joyful; the difficulties I’m facing are too dire for me to be happy.” But that’s a mistake; the Bible says, _“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” (James 1:2). Joy is an emotion that is evoked by satisfaction, appreciation, and p...

A STRONG DESIRE FOR THE WORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever Amen (2 Peter 3:18). As a child of God, you must relish the Word of God; you must enjoy the Word. Your most exciting times should be when you’re in fellowship with the Word. God’s Word is everything; it’s what you need to be all that God has destined you to be in life. Having come to Christ, you must have a strong desire to grow in your spirit. Just like a new-born baby is fed with natural food to enhance its growth and well being, so also does God expect the one who’s born again to feed, and keep feeding, on the Word. We’re born of the Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23). And then 1 Peter 2:2 says, “As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby.” Nothing else will make you grow spiritually, except the Word. God’s Word will build ...

NO CONDEMNATION…NO DEATH – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1). Nobody will go to hell today or be condemned because of sin, for Jesus was already condemned for our sins; He paid the full penalty for sin. Therefore, the primary reason people will go to hell is unbelief; it’s for not believing and accepting God’s testimony of His Son. It’s for rejecting God’s love which He demonstrated in the sacrifice of His Son, for the propitiation of our sins. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). To reject His love is to embrace eternal condemnation. When you love the Lord with all your heart, you’re free from any form of condemnation. And that love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5), such that not only are we able to love the Lord, we also walk in, and mani...

BUILD ON A FIRM FOUNDATION

In architecture, the higher you want to build a house, the deeper the foundation has to be. The great buildings we see all over the world, were not built in a hurry or carelessly. The Lord Jesus highlights this same principle in Matthew 7:24-25, which states thus; “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which buildeth his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” The foundation of a man’s life, determines how successful he will be in life. This simple, yet powerful principle, underscores the importance of the right foundation for the structure you want to build. It is applicable to whatever you want to build in life; it may be your career, business, finances, family and relationships. The reason for the problem inherent in some people’s lives is the absence of a deep and firm foundation; and that is th...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MEMBERS OF HIS BODY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SATURDAY 25TH MARCH 2017 .

Buoyant Greetings Dearly Beloved of God! Download your complete e-copy of March Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid (1 Corinthians 6:15). In the opening verse, notice that the Apostle Paul used the plural noun “bodies.” He was writing to the Church at Corinth. If he had used the singular noun “body,” it would have seemed right to argue that he was speaking in generic terms, referring to all of us as “the body of Christ”; that is, the mystical body of Christ as referenced in Romans 12:5: “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” He however expresses a profound truth about our individual connection and oneness with Jesus Christ by ...

Prayer at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT) - Friday March 24th 2017

In Matthew 5:6, Jesus declared: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled". Hunger for spiritual things is very important. We should always apply our minds to do more for the Lord, constantly seeking to please him in all things. The Word declares in Romans 8:5,6 "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace". From the Apple Appstore or the Android Playstore, get the Pastor Chris digital library app and find recorded messages that will change your life forever. Web version link: http://pcdl.co We'll pray fervidly in tongues for all 15mins at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT). God bless

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL GROUNDED AND SETTLED IN THE TRUTH - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY 23RD MARCH, 2017

Laudatory Greetings Dearly Beloved of God!   Download your complete e-copy of March Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John  Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so (Acts 17:11).  You might have come across certain people who, though have been Christians for long, yet are not grounded and settled in the truth. They still ask the same questions they’ve been asking for years. Even after showing them answers from the Scriptures, they return with the same questions after some time. You may even think they’re honestly seeking answers, but such attitude is the manifestation of their disquieted, roaming, and unsettled spirit. They’re tormented with worry, having difficulty accepting sim...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL ALL THINGS ARE SUBJECT TO YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY 22ND, MARCH 2017

Joyous Greetings Dearly Beloved of God!   Download your complete e-copy of March Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church (Ephesians 1:22).  The Lord Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all principality, and power, might, dominion, and every name that is named. He occupies the most excellent and exalted throne there is; and the good news is that we’re seated with Him. Ephesians 2:4-6 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” God gave Jesus authority over all creation. READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WE’RE LIKE HIM - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME TUESDAY 21ST MARCH 2017 .

Jolly Greetings Dearly Beloved of God! Download your complete e-copy of March Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). The latter part of our opening verse, referring to Jesus, says, as He is, so are we in this world. If we’re as He is, then it’s important to find out from the Word who Jesus is; how did He live when He walked the earth? The Bible tells us that He healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast out devils. Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” His life was an unending stream of the miraculous. He walked on water. He talked t...

SPEAK THE TRUTH IN YOUR HEART- PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart (Psalm 15:1-2). If you’re going to walk in the glory of God and have His grace and power manifested in your life, the Word says you must walk uprightly, work righteousness, and speak the truth in your heart. Now, what does it mean to speak the truth in your heart? This is where a lot of people miss it. They don’t have a problem walking uprightly; they don’t have a problem working righteousness, that is, doing right, but then they have a problem with “speaking the truth in their heart.” Notice that the psalmist didn’t say, “He that... speaketh the truth to his neighbor”; no! I‘m aware that a few translations render it in a way that seems to suggest that it should read “speaking the truth to someone else,” but when you study it from the original Hebrew rendering, you’ll observe it has nothing to do with talking with some...

WHO ARE WE? - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26). In Acts 3:25, when the Apostle Peter was preaching to the Jews, he said to them, “Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant….” Peter was speaking spiritually. He didn’t mean they were the children of the Prophets in the sense that they were born by the wives of the Prophets; no. There’s an understanding we need to get from this that’s very important: When he called them the children of the Prophets, he meant children of the promise, or the spoken Word. Now, if they were the children of the Prophets and of the covenants, who then are we? A major problem in the world today is identity crisis. Many don’t know who they are. They’re still grappling with the questions: Who am I? What am I doing on earth? What’s my life about? The believers in the early Church didn’t argue with him (Peter), because they knew he was telling them the truth about their identity. They weren’t in the covenant; they w...

THE OUTWORKING OF THE WORD IN YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God (Ephesians 3:10). Do you know there’s something about us, the new creation, that the angels can’t get over? The angels are glorious and wonderful beings. They’re excellent in glory and mighty in power, but they’re amazed at what God has done with us, in us, and for us, because as glorious as they are, God doesn’t live in them, and as “unworthy” as we were, He gave us a new life and made us His living tabernacles. That remains a mystery to the angels; they don’t understand it. And guess what? God chose us to explain it to them. The Church is to make the manifold wisdom of God known to them. That’s why each time we preach about Jesus, and about the Holy Ghost, the angels love to listen. They enjoy it; they want to know more about the salvation that Jesus brought to man, because it’s something that they only know from the scriptures. They don’t have an...

LOVING JESUS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha (1 Corinthians 16:22). The Lord Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15), meaning that the proof of your love for Him is keeping His Word. Furthermore, our opening verse says anyone who doesn’t love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be “anathema” (accursed). Loving Jesus isn’t debatable or negotiable; it’s not subject to the power of choice. It’s something you’re required to do. Jesus is the crown of heaven, and the joy of the whole earth. Everything in the universe revolves around Him. He’s the embodiment and fullest revelation of God’s love! The Father has expressed Himself and His love in Jesus. There’s no better way for the Father to prove His love and manifest Himself to man outside of Jesus! Jesus is the joy of the Father’s heart. All that God does is wrapped around Him. This is the reason you must love Jesus with all your heart. Someone might want to ask, “But how can I love Him, w...

USING THE NAME OF JESUS: A MATTER OF AUTHORITY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth (Philippians 2:10). Ephesians 1:21 talks about the resurrected Christ, and lets us know that He’s set in the heavenly places, “Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age {and} in this world, but also in the age {and} the world which are to come” (AMP). Here, the word “rule” means two things: first, it means the authority that governs; and secondly, it means the decrees by which it governs. It refers to rulership and its rules. Meaning that it doesn’t matter what rule has been made, Jesus is far above all rule. He’s set, not just above, or near above, but FAR above all rule, authority, power, and dominion. Hallelujah! Therefore, when you use the Name of Jesus, there’s no room for doubt. God didn’t even say to use the Name only if you have faith. When it comes t...

FOCUS ON WHAT REALLY MATTERS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance (Luke 15:7) Living for Jesus Christ and making yourself His partner in building and transforming lives around the world is what counts the most in life. God did the ultimate: He gave His Son to die to bring us to Himself; to win us to Himself. So everything in your life—your thoughts, ideas, the excellence in your life—should be about soul-winning. Many are concerned about the lesser things of life; but you must focus on the Gospel. True fulfillment and satisfaction in life is only derived from living for the Lord, fulfilling His dream. Many get carried away by their needs or their personal dreams; that’s wrong. Take your eyes off yourself; pursue and fulfill God’s dream. Live your life as an ambassador and steward of the mysteries of Christ; that’s what your life is for. He already said all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21...

BE CONSCIOUS OF THE POWER THAT WORKS IN YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21). 2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” The Holy Spirit is the power of the Godhead and He lives in you in His fullness: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...” (Acts 1:8). His power is working in your spirit. Our theme verse says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us....” What an inspiring thought! Notice that it didn’t say, according to the power that worketh in heaven.” This explains that you have a role in the operations of the miraculous and supernatural in your life. The glory of God is manifested in your life accordin...

HEAR AND THINK RIGHT- PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

For as he (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he... (Proverbs 23:7). Change is something we all want, should have, and continually crave; change from glory to glory. Change, whether positive or negative, results from the words you pay attention to, and the thoughts they stir up in your heart. The Lord Jesus taught His disciples to hear and think right. In Mark 4:24, He said, “...Take heed what ye hear....” Then in Luke 8:18, He said, “Take heed therefore how ye hear....” How you hear is as important as what you hear, because how you hear often determines your response and attitude, as well as the ability to appropriate the power of the words that come to you. Words make or mar. Our lives are influenced by words; the atmosphere in your home depends on the words that are spoken therein. Your relationships are built on words. Our lives are so dependent on words that, not only do they affect our attitudes, they also affect our health and living conditions. Whether or not you’re liv...

TURN THE SEARCHLIGHT ON YOURSELF - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you…? (2 Corinthians 13:5). Everyone is the expression of what he or she believes. Your daily life is the loudest voice that gives expression to your belief. As a Christian, therefore, it’s easy for you to review what you truly believe, and determine whether or not you’re living the authentic Christian life by examining yourself and your actions. Turn the searchlight on yourself. Ask yourself, “What kind of life am I living?” “What have I been like?” “Am I expressing the love of Christ in truth?” “Has the Word affected my communication, to manifest the Kingdom of God in humility and in righteousness?” You need to ponder on such thoughts from time to time as you evaluate your life with the sole purpose of building and maintaining an excellent character. Be sure that you’ve been putting the Word to work in your personal life. Be sure that your will and emo...
