READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. HE’S GIVEN US EVERYTHING - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD. SATURDAY, MAY 28th, 2016.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3). The truth in our opening verse is also paralleled in 1 Corinthians 3:21; it says, “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.” Did you notice it doesn’t say “some things,” or “only the things you pray about are yours?” Rather, it says all things are yours! This is the reality. Affirm it. Believe the Word and act accordingly. The Word of God is very clear about this. This isn’t something to argue with, doubt or negotiate. Everything you require: the money, facilities, ideas, vision, human, and material resources, etc., have all been granted you in Christ Jesus. You have everything that’s required for an extraordinary life of righteousness and glory in the earth; everything that’s necessary for you to live and excel in the God-life. This means you can live for God; you can be effectiv

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. LET HIM LEAD YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD FRIDAY, MAY 27TH 2016

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25) Walking in the Spirit is walking in the light of God's Word. When you walk in the Spirit, no matter what your senses tell you, you'll be able to discern which direction God wants you to go. Many people live in uncertainty. But as a child of God, the Spirit of God is in your life to lead and guide you. He guides you in the perfect will of God, away from defeat, failure, and anything that hurts. Learn to live according to the Spirit. John said we should walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). And Jesus said, "...I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life" (John 8:12). To follow Jesus is to walk in accordance with the Word; it's to walk in the direction of God's Spirit for your life. Let Him guide you. In your job, He can tell you what to do; same as with your family, health, finances, and other areas of

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. VALUE SPIRITUAL THINGS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY, MAY 26TH, 2016

And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? (Genesis 25:32). Obadiah 1:21 tells us something striking; it says, “And saviors shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau….” Esau represents the godless, the profane or body-ruled; those who don’t have value for spiritual things. Such people, the Bible says, are in the flesh and therefore can’t please God (Romans 8:8). Esau was the older brother of Jacob, and because of his profanity, he sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of food. The spiritual implication of his action didn’t quite dawn on him at the time. It wasn’t about the food he ate; it was about his disdain for spiritual things. The birthright was spiritual. It had a special blessing, yet Esau forfeited it to his younger brother, because of food. What he wanted was for physical gratification: what he could touch, taste, or feel at that moment. And he got it. He made a carnal choice over that which was spi

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. BORN TO REIGN - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD WEDNESDAY, MAY 25TH 2016.

Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world... (John 18:37). The Bible tells us how God appeared to Abraham when he was ninety years old, and blessed him. He said to him, "And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee" (Genesis 17:6). Some Bible translations say, "...some kings will come out of thee," but that's wrong. God wasn't thinking about the kings of Israel and Judah that would reign over His people; He was talking about a generation that'd be born as kings. In the following verse, the Lord said, "And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee." His everlasting covenant wasn't with Abraham's physical, earthly seeds like Isaac, Jacob etc., who only received the blessing in

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. DON'T DELAY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD TUESDAY, MAY 24TH, 2016

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4). Avoid procrastination. Don’t delay in the things you should do. Act at the right time; act while you can, because the opportunity may not always be there. What’s that vision the Lord laid in your heart at the beginning of the year? How far have you fulfilled it? It could be about your evangelical work as a Christian or a minister of the Gospel. It could be about your job or family or even your health. Don’t delay. Be about what He asked you to do, and refuse to be distracted. Oftentimes, when you don’t do what you should do at the right time, your inaction could prevent you from getting to the next level of your life. So, do the right things at the right time. It’s one of the benefits of yielding yourself to the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God; His wisdom propels you to do the right thing at the right time, the right way, for the right purpose. Sometimes, the conseq

"PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - MON MAY 23RD 2016

As trees of righteousness in the Lord's vineyard, we must be fruitful and productive. Read more in today's Rhapsody or download from http://rhapsodyofrealities.org Galatians 6:9 - 10 tells us: "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith". For 15mins at 12noon (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in tongues, and for our Pastors and leaders in ministry, that they be continually strengthened with might by God's Spirit in their inner man; the Lord increasing His grace in their lives and granting them more boldness, utterance and opportunity to declare the Gospel of Christ freely. At 10pm, we'll pray about our work, goals and visions for the advancement of the Kingdom, affirming that we run with the grace, wisdom, speed and ability given to us in this 'year of spreading'. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. YOU MUST KEEP BEARING FRUITS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD MONDAY, MAY 23RD 2016

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down (Luke 13:6-9). The scripture above is a parable told by the Lord Jesus Christ with which He emphasized the importance of fruitfulness in God's Kingdom. The owner of the vineyard had come seeking fruit from a particular fig tree, but there was none. Then he said to the vinedresser, "Cut it down." The vinedresser, however, pleaded for more time to cultivate the tree some more, perhaps eventually it'd produce fruits. Otherwise, it could be cut down. The tree was of no value in the

PRAYER FOR YOU

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me such an extraordinary life of victory, success, and excellence. I’m prospering and living in the manifestation of your infinite blessings because I’m the King’s kid. I’m a joint-heir with Christ; therefore I walk in the dominion and liberty of the Spirit, enjoying the blessedness of my heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

STEER YOUR LIFE IN GOD’S DESTINY FOR YOU

“ Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! ” (James 3:4-5) A rudder is a small piece of wood or metal used by the captain of a ship to set it on course to his desired direction. The Apostle James in our opening scripture likened the tongue to the rudder of a great ship. Though so little, the tongue can accomplish anything–good or bad:  “ Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof ”   (Proverbs 18:21). The life you have today is as a result of your tongue-work; that is, everything you’ve been saying. Your words direct the course of your destiny, positively or otherwise. This is the reason you shouldn’t talk poverty, defeat, sickness or death; rather, talk prosperity, victory, success

SET A TIME FOR YOUR MIRACLE!

Taking the story of Hannah in the Old Testament as a case study, she had been married to Elkanah for several years without a child, and must have been hoping this would change someday, but it didn’t. One day, she got tired of the situation and made up her mind for a miracle. She said to herself, “It’s today or never!” Then she went into the house of the Lord and fell on her face before God, bringing forth her case. While she was there, Eli the high priest observed her lips moving but didn’t hear any words coming out of her mouth, so he thought she was drunk and rebuked her, saying, “Woman, are you not tired of your drunkenness?” (1 Samuel 1:13-14). “Sir, I’m not drunk; I’m just pouring out my heart before the Lord,” she replied (1 Samuel 1:15).We’ve always thought all Hannah did was make a vow to God, but she did more; she argued her case before God. She petitioned God and gave Him strong reasons why she must have a child. Then the high priest answered and said to her, “Go in pea
