A CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE IN US! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, DECEMBER 25TH, 2015

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; THAT YE MAY KNOW THAT YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God (1 John 5:13). Today, many around the world are commemorating the birth of Jesus. While Christmas tags along symbolic decorations, giving and receiving of gifts, family and other social gatherings, beyond these excitements and celebrations however, it’s important not to lose sight of the very purpose for which Christ came! Christmas is about who Jesus is, and what He came to do. He didn’t come to establish a religion. He didn’t come to merely show us how to do good things, or how to live a good life; it’s much more than that! In John 10:10, He said, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I AM COME THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Jesus came for a purpose, and that purpose was to give us life—the God kind of life. He made that statement be...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES - ENJOY THE LIFE HE BROUGHT! THURSDAY, DECEMBER 24TH. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). During the Christmas season, you might have heard some people say, “If there’s any time to imitate Christ, its Christmas time.” Actually, that’s a misconception of what Christ, Christmas, or Christianity is about. Though there’s the imitation of Christ in Christianity, Christianity  isn't  the imitation of Christ. You can’t imitate Christ until you have the life of Christ. Christianity is the life of God in the human person, made possible by Christ. That’s a miracle, and which is what Christmas is about. He brought us another kind of life. The New International Version puts our opening verse more appropriately; it says, “…I have come that they may have life, and HAVE IT TO THE FULL.” He came to help us live the good life, which God prearranged, and made ready for us to live (Ephesians 2:10). He’s called ...

CELEBRATE YOUR UNIQUENESS!

God has a unique plan for your life, different from that of any other living person. His plans and purposes for your life are distinct, because He  doesn't  have, has never had, and will never have a replica of you! You’re the only “you” that God has and will ever have. So, take pride in who you are and in what God is doing in your life; celebrate your uniqueness. Sometimes, there’s the temptation to feel discouraged when others around you seem to be making more progress than you. However, such a feeling is absolutely unnecessary, because you don’t measure your success with the success of someone else. Rather, you measure your success with how much you’re walking in the will of God for your life. That someone else is succeeding  doesn't  mean you’re failing, for God has called us to  fulfill  different areas of His vision. The Bible says ‘…Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of o...

SEE WITH HIS LIGHT

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7). T he Word of God is light (Psalm 119:105), and the Scripture tells us to walk in the light as God is in the light. We can walk in the light and have fellowship with Him because we’re born of the Word (1 Peter 1:23), which is light, and have therefore become children of light (1 Thessalonians 5:5). We’re now required to see with God’s light. Under that light, you don’t see poverty, sickness, disease, death, failure or impossibilities. The Word of God is light (Psalm 119:105), and the Scripture tells us to walk in the light as God is in the light. We can walk in the light and have fellowship with Him because we’re born of the Word (1 Peter 1:23), which is light, and have therefore become children of light (1 Thessalonians 5:5). We’re now required to see with God’s light. Under that light, you don’t see poverty, sickn...

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - WED DEC 23RD 2015

Psalm 145: 1-3 says: "I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. 2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. 3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable". In both 15mins sessions at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in the spirit, extolling and blessing the Name of the Lord, praising Him for His greatness and power in our lives. Remember and declare His wondrous works in your life, and in the Church throughout the year, and thank Him, for He alone is worthy of all glory, honor and power. Blessed be His Name forever. Hallelujah! God bless you.

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. YOU CAN HEAR HIM EVERY DAY. WEDNESDAY,DECEMBER 23,2015.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…(2 Timothy 3:16-17). Many people have problems in their lives because they don’t listen to the Holy Spirit; they ignore His counsel. They make important decisions, without ever consulting with the Spirit. Some are in a quagmire; but if they’d be yielded to the Spirit, all the misery in their lives will be gone. God is interested in you being successful in every area of your life. He cares about the minutest detail of your life. It’s therefore important that you seek His counsel in all things. The most beautiful part of it is that you can hear His voice every day. He always wants to talk to you, and does talk to you actually, even more than you want to hear His voice. The problem is that many ignore His voice, and some don’t even know when He speaks. Now, understand this: Listening to the Holy Spirit doesn't mean you’re necessarily going ...

HE MAKES YOU A LIFE-GIVER

“Only the Holy Spirit gives eternal life.…” (John 6:63 TLB) The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life. When He comes into your life, not only does He give life to your body, He gives life to every area of your life—your work, business, academics, family, etc. In addition to bringing you life, the Holy Spirit also makes you a life-giver. He takes away the dryness and brings fruitfulness and productivity into your life. Isaiah 32:15 says, “Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest.” He’s the one who impregnates your words with power so that when you speak, things happen. He puts you ahead of others by causing your eyes to see what they don’t see, and anoints your hands so that anything you touch is blessed. Glory to God! There’s hope for the world because the Holy Spirit lives in you; and through you He can give life to your world. Remember, you’re His outstretched hands; He can only ...

THE POWER OF YOUR THOUGHTS

Thoughts are pictures of the mind that have constructive or destructive potential. Thoughts also have power and create realities. The quickest way to affect your thoughts is through mental pictures. You've got to see first in your mind the things you desire for your life. In Genesis 15:1, God told Abraham, “Fear not I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.” But instead of Abraham to be excited at God’s Word, he complained bitterly: “Sovereign Lord, what good are all your blessings when I don’t even have a son? Since I don’t have a son, Eliezer of Damascus, a servant in my household, will inherit all my wealth” (Genesis 15:2-3 TNLB). God, however, knew what to do to make Abraham believe; He gave him a mental picture. He “…brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and He said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the Lord; and He counted it to him for righteousness” (Genesis 15:5-6). ...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. JUSTIFIED BY HIS RESURRECTION! TUESDAY,DECEMBER 22,2015.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). When the Bible says, “Therefore being justified by faith…,” it’s talking about being declared righteous by faith! We've been acquitted! Some people think we were justified because Jesus took the punishment. But that’ll mean that the accusation stayed. We weren't justified because He took our sins. We were acquitted because all the allegations against us failed, for we’re a new creation. Observe something remarkable: The Bible says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:4-6). When Jesus died, we died with Him. When He was buried, we were buried with Him. When God raised Him from the dead, we were raised together with Him! In the mind of...

GOD GIVES THROUGH HIS WORD

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20) A lady once came to a preacher for prayer. She told him that God had put a sickness on her to make her more humble. The preacher prayed, “Oh God, please give her more of this sickness so she can be even more humble.” She quickly rejected the prayer; she did not want to be sick anymore. Sadly, it’s the same thinking with some today, they think God made them sick or poor as a way to discipline them and make them humble. That’s just wrong, and it’s a result of gross ignorance of God’s Word. God never uses the devil’s devices on His kids. Jesus said, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” (John 1:10 AMP) God is not mysterious; In fact, He gave us His Word that we may understand His ways, thoughts and personality. All God’s gifts and blessings are in His Word. Whe...

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) - MON DEC 21ST, 2015.

Psalm 107.21-22 says: "Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and celebrate His deeds with shouts of joy and singing". It's our month of thanksgiving, and there's so much to be thankful for. We'll pray in tongues for most of 15 mins at 12 noon and 10 pm (Local/GMT); and with words of praise and thanksgiving, we'll rejoice in His presence; For the Lord is gracious and worthy to be praised. God bless you. ‪#‎Amen‬
