You must see yourself in the mirror of God’s Word and align yourself with the image you see. This is the reason He gave us His Word in the first place. When you study the Word, be excited because it was written for your benefit. When you look at yourself through God’s Word, you’ll discover that you’ve been promoted and lifted unto the same realm as God. But Jesus said unto her, let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs (Mark 7:27).   Sometimes, you find Christians who say, “Lord, heal me. I claim my healing.” For the baby and ignorant Christian, God may put up with that for a while. The time comes when He says, “Come on! Grow up!” And such prayers wouldn’t work anymore. Some people have asked me, “Pastor Chris, I used to pray for people and they got healed, and I also prayed for myself and I got healed. However, nowadays, when I pray for myself, nothing happens, even though I still pray for people and they receive healing. What’s gone wrong?” The problem is simple. God never told you to pray for yourself to be healed. Just because it worked for you when you were a baby Christian doesn’t mean you should go on like that. The Bible says, “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30). God’s best isn’t

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28 If you’re a Christian, it doesn’t matter the situation you’ve found yourself, you’re still a victor!  In God’s Kingdom–where you’ve been born into–God has ordained everything to work together for your good. Nothing is to your disadvantage. David understanding this truth boldly declared “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psalm 16:6). Live with the consciousness that the Lord has perfected that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8). Learn to trust Him, because He is your sufficiency; He is your all in all. This is the reason you ought to be of good cheer always, knowing that the Lord has brought you into a place of rest, victory and success. Your prosperity is assured. Praise God!

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22) The above Scripture was God’s solemn declaration to Noah, his household and to all creation after the flood. It elucidates the kingdom principle which states that when I sow my seed, I have every right to expect a harvest from it. The Scripture says ‘seedtime and harvest’ and not ‘seedtime and harvest time.’ Meaning that there is a specific time to sow in order to activate God’s anointing on your behalf for a multiplied and sustained harvest. Healing already came to us at the Cross and God is more willing to heal us than we are willing to be healed. So why do Christians fall sick? Why do we find a lot of God’s children suffering and in pain? There are several reasons for this, but thank God, there’s no situation that cannot be brought under the control of God’s Word. Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” This is the principal reason a lot of God’s people are in sickness: lack of knowledge and understanding of the Word of God concerning them. The word ‘destroyed’ has as its synonyms ‘suffer’ and ‘perish,’ so we might as well say, “God’s people suffer because of lack of knowledge.” A lot of Christians have perfect understanding of every issue of life except that which is most vital – the Word of God, what God has said concer

The Word of God has the ability to impact not only your spirit and your mind, but also your physical body. In Hebrews 4:12, the Bible says God’s Word reaches right into your soul and spirit, and your joints and bone marrow. That means as you take the Word into you, it goes into your mind, and impacts every fiber of your being. God’s Word works in your spirit the same way physical food works in your body. Just as the food you eat is broken down and absorbed until it becomes part of you, so also the Word of God that you receive into your spirit, becomes in you what it says. The Bible says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all” (1 timothy 4:15). What are you supposed to meditate on? God’s Word! In this world, we all have friends people who we relate with, talk with, share with, pray with and whose company we enjoy. But even the best of friends may sometimes let you down or disappoint you in your hour of need; not because they want to, but because they may be unavailable, or not have the right words to say to you at that time. Then of course, it’s possible for them to get tired of your “issues” and eventually give up on you, because they feel you aren’t going to change. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:24 that ‘’There is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother’’ But there’s only ONE friend that’ll never disappoint, fail, or give up on you! You know, it’s one thing to know how to read your Bible, pray every day and go to church when you should, but it’s another thing to live a victorious life. It’s one thing to be militant in your spirit but another thing entirely to understand the battle and be victorious in it. When you say, “The battle is the Lord’s,” there’s a lot more to it than that.
