HAPPY NEW MONTH! READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL- THE COMMUNION OF HIS BODY AND BLOOD. SUNDAY,NOVEMBER 1,2015.

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me  (1 Corinthians 11:23-24). “Can those who are not born again take the Holy Communion?” someone may ask. No, they can’t. The one who hasn't given his heart to Christ can’t partake of His life, because the Holy Communion is the communion of the body and blood of Christ. The only way to become one with the Lord is to be born again—to be born into Christ. Everyone who has taken this step qualifies to receive the communion anytime. By partaking of the communion, you reaffirm your oneness with the Lord, reminding yourself of who you are. We do this according to the instructions of the Master, not so we can remember Him as one who just died for no reason, no! His vicarious death was for a reason. He died so tha...

CONFESSION FOR YOU

I function in the dominion of the Spirit, having been enthroned over Satan, the principalities of darkness and all negative circumstances. My life is the manifestation of the graces, many-sided wisdom, and perfections of God, whose glory I am, and whose presence I carry to impact and beautify my world, in the name of Jesus. Amen..

MAKE MELODY OF THE WORD IN YOUR HEART

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18) Reading the Scripture above further into the nineteenth and twentieth verses tells us exactly how to be filled with the Spirit: “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:19-20). These psalms, hymns and spiritual songs you’re required to speak in order to be filled with the Spirit must be based on God’s Word, for the Word and the Spirit are one: “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). This lets us know that one of the ways to be filled with the Spirit is to sing or make melody of the Word in your heart to the Lord. That means wherever you are, you can muse over, ponder or mutter the Word to yourself until it forms a melody in your heart that will burst forth i...

THE SECRET OF CHRISTIANITY

Everything that God is and all that He has made you can only be revealed to you by the Spirit. Sadly, there are people today who go to Church but you can tell they haven’t received the Holy Spirit. I wonder what in the world they are waiting for. Receiving the Holy Spirit is not optional for any child of God. When Christ shows up at the rapture, it will take the Holy Spirit to get you out of here! You need to know this – there is no Christianity without the Holy Spirit. Christianity without the Holy Spirit is a joke! Until you have received the Holy Spirit, you won’t know anything about the ‘Glory life.’ If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, what you have is mere religion. Being filled with the Holy Spirit and having the consciousness of his glorious presence with you is the secret of Christianity. That is what makes us unique. The Bible says, you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you (Acts 1:8). Do you want to see the power of God in your life? The Holy Ghost...

HE CAUSES YOU TO ‘SEE’

A man without the Holy Spirit is like a blind man. He may not know it, but that is what blindness is all about. A blind man cannot see light and beauty. It is the same thing in the realm of the Spirit. A blind man in the realm of the Spirit is one who doesn't know or understand spiritual things; he cannot see the things of the Spirit. One very important aspect of the ministry of the Spirit is that he causes us to see and John 16:8 substantiates this: “and when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment”. The word ‘reprove’ is the same as ‘convict’ and it embraces a number of Biblical expressions in its meaning. Originally, it’s derived from two Latin terms meaning ‘cause to see’. In the New Testament, the words ‘reproof’, ‘conviction’ and ‘illumination’ are used to communicate the ministry of the Holy Spirit whereby He causes the individual to ‘see’; He causes him to understand truth. When the Holy Spirit comes into your life, you wi...

SPEAK TO YOURSELF!

There’s a constant filling of the Spirit that you ought to be experiencing daily. God says, “be filled with the Spirit”, meaning it’s your responsibility to be filled. He also lets you know how to do it – He says, “Speaking to yourselves in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs…” this doesn’t mean speaking to one another; it means I’m talking to me and you’re talking to you! Words are important in the Kingdom of God. God wants you to speak to yourself in Psalms and hymns and Spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:18-19). As you do, you are constantly being filled with the Spirit, and it becomes impossible for you to despair, be frustrated or despondent in life. But you can extinguish that fire by speaking negatively. When you say things like, “life is so hard; things are so bad; I don’t know what’s happening to me; I’m so frustrated…” You actually extinguish the fire of God’s Spirit in your life. Rather than talk yourself down, there’s something good you can say to you! You can begin by speaking...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL HIS WORD IS LIGHT. FRIDAY,OCTOBER 30,2015.

I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me (Psalm 119:19). The opening verse was King David talking, and he was wise enough to know he was a pilgrim in the earth. His conclusion spelt out something remarkable about his yearning as he spoke to God: “…hide not thy commandments from me.” That means “Don’t hide your Word from me.” Why was David so passionate about the Word of God? Let’s read Psalm 119:105: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” He understood the power and impact of the Word of God. He knew the Word will help him; it was a lamp to give light, and a light to illuminate his path. He knew it wasn’t the “buying” of the Bible that gives light, or the hearing or the preaching that gives light, but the entrance of God’s Word; that’s what gives understanding to the simple (Psalm 119:130). So, it’s not about listening to sermons upon sermons; if the Word doesn’t get into your spirit, it’ll not give you light. The earth is covered with...

HE’S MORE THAN AN INFLUENCE

The Holy Spirit is more than an influence in your life. He’s not a smoke or oil, neither is He a cloud; He’s more than all that! If you relate with Him, He will empower you and reveal beautiful things to you from God’s Word. The Holy Spirit empowers you to be a witness; a proof- producer! Meaning you produce proofs of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the reality of God’s kingdom through the Holy Spirit. The service you render in the house of God will be empty without the Holy Spirit. We can’t do anything for God without Him. If He does not sanctify your offering, it’s not acceptable to God. Even Jesus had to offer Himself through the Holy Spirit, according to Hebrews 9:14. He’s the one to teach you God’s Word. With Him you will never walk in darkness or in confusion.

GRACED FOR INCREASE AND EXPANSION

“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited”  (Isaiah 54:2-3). Being born again, there’s an anointing in you for increase and expansion. You received that anointing when the Holy Spirit came to live in you. That anointing causes everything you do to grow and expand, and makes your experience in life characterized by constant increase and expansion in an extraordinary way. That anointing makes everything you do multiply far above what you could ask, think, or imagine. God’s desire is that you recognize this anointing and let it function in you and through you. Philemon 1:6 says, “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” The anoin...

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) - WED OCT 28TH 2015

James 1: 2-4 tells us: "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing".  In both 15 mins sessions at 12 noon and 10 pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently and mostly in the spirit. Pray for members of your local church congregation, especially those facing diverse temptations and trials; that they'll walk in the strength and dominion of God's Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, overcoming all challenges and difficulties to the glory of God. Affirm also that in all these things, they're more than conquerors; and these trying situations will produce in them patience, even unto their perfection and maturity in Christ. God bless you.

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL :THE EPISTLES OF CHRIST! WEDNESDAY,OCTOBER 28,2015

…Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart  (2 Corinthians 3:1-3). As you study the Word of God, it’s important not to miss the salient points the Spirit of God wants you to grasp. An example of such powerful and important truth is what the Apostle Paul communicates in our opening scripture: we’re the epistles of Christ. What does this mean? It means we’re God’s message; His Word! Hallelujah! Paul said, “For as much as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart” (2 Corinthians 3:3). Here, he lets us know why we’re the epistles of Christ. Christ is the Word of God; now Paul says we’re the Word of Chris...

SEVEN (7) OUT WORKINGS OF GRACE

The Grace of God can be seen in what it produces; as much as Grace is a divine working on the inside of a man, it manifests itself on the outside of a man in diverse ways:  1. ACCEPTABILITY. There always is something about a man/woman with Grace that attracts people to him/her. Grace singles you out; they just don’t know why they are attracted towards you. Grace has got nothing to do with one’s status, profession or gender. You can turn on grace in your life; God gives you more Grace as you put to use the Grace He already made available to you. Grace causes nature to respond to you and there are levels of Grace at which different Christians function. It should be your desire to function at the highest level of Grace possible.  2. THE ADVANTAGE. Grace brings and gives you the Advantage. As a Christian, you need to ALWAYS be conscious of the Grace of God upon your life, this is what makes it work and you need to recognize that you have got grace working for you. You do n...

GRACE

INTRODUCTION 2 Peter 3:18 ”But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever”. Amen. WHAT IS GRACE? Grace is the divine influence on the heart of a man and it is reflected or expressed outwardly. In other words, it is the out-working of a divine inward influence in your heart through God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. Grace is the glory of God working in a man’s spirit. The Greek word for grace is ‘Charis’. It beautifies the spirit and would always show on the outside. Grace functions at different levels in our life. It locates you and brings you into the good place at the right and opportune time. Some people do define Grace as “unmerited favor” but this definition is from a negative point of view and is somewhat limited. There is such a thing as to increase in grace, to grow (Auxano). As Christians, the Bible admonishes us to grow in grace even as we grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t work against G...

BRING FORTH YOUR STRONG REASONS

Do you know you can argue your case before the Lord in prayer? Yes, you can turn your closet into a courtroom and bring forth your strong reasons for demanding a particular change, or insisting that things turn out in a certain way for you or for your loved ones. The Bible says, “Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob” (Isaiah 41:21). It’s serious and intense prayer, the kind for which you shut your door and say, “I must have a miracle today!” What if after praying for a while, you’re still not satisfied that it’s done? Well, that just means “case adjourned!” Your prayer closet now becomes a courtroom where you plead your case. If you’re not yet convinced it’s done, go back to the Word, research and produce more evidence. Pray earnestly in the spirit, i.e. in other tongues. Even if you have to stop praying to go to work, when you have a break or a little time alone, continue in prayer. If you have the time in the car while on your...

THE HOLY SPIRIT CAUSES YOU TO PROSPER

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes… I will also save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you (Ezekiel 36:27-29). True and lasting prosperity comes through the Holy Spirit. In the Scripture above, God says, “I will put My Spirit within you… and I will also save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it….” In other words, He’s saying “I’ll get rid of the mess from your life, and then I will call for the corn;” which signifies prosperity. This means prosperity is a manifestation of the presence of Holy Spirit in your life! In the Church of Jesus Christ, there’s been a lot of preaching about prosperity. It’s been preached that “When you give, God will give back to you.” But you see, it doesn't end there; that’s half-truth. Truth has to be all-truth. So many of God’s people give: they sow seeds and give their offering but it doesn...

MAKE YOUR FAITH PROCLAMATIONS

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13) Proclaiming what you already believe in your heart strengthens your spirit and causes the Word to be active in your life. Our confessions of faith change and transform us, causing us to experience the realities of the Gospel in our lives. God created the world by His spoken Word. He said “let there be…” (Genesis 1:3, 6, 14), and there was! In other words, whatever He spoke came into being. Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “for he hath said …So that we may boldly say…” He taught us to boldly make faith proclamations. Jesus taught us the same when He said in Mark 11:23 ‘you shall have whatever you say.’ When you speak God’s Word in faith, the Spirit of God causes it to come to pass. So today, proclaim the Word boldly in faith concerning any challenging situation you may be facing. Remember, what you say is what you get, so s...

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) - MON OCT 26TH 2015

1 Corinthians 14:2 says: "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries". At 12 noon and 10 pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in tongues, for all 15 mins, bearing this scripture in mind, knowing also that we're uttering mysteries and causing changes in the spirit. Set your focus and attention on God and His Word; and as you pray, the Holy Spirit will minister to you specially. God bless you.
