RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. WISDOM FOR THE VISION - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SUNDAY, 20TH MARCH 2016.

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee (Proverbs 4:5-6). True wisdom is of the Spirit; it comes from the Lord. Until divine wisdom is given, man walks in darkness. Wisdom gives insight. It gives foresight. It gives understanding. Wisdom guides and leads. And as you continually give yourself to the Word and the ministry of the Spirit, you function in greater wisdom. The Lord opens your mind, and your spirit will have such cogitations beyond this earthly realm. The wisdom of God gives you extraordinary amplitude of comprehension. It opens the world to you; and you’re amazed at what you see. Visions are things God entrusts to us. They’re investments of the Holy Spirit in our spirits. Sometimes, people mismanage visions and find themselves in the wrong path. But the beautiful thing is, God gives you wisdom to manage that which He shows you, and helps yo...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, MARCH 19TH, 2016 A SPIRITUAL CONNECTION - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting (1 Timothy 2:8). Some people don’t understand the reason we lift our hands in prayer and worship. It’s one of those things we’re admonished in the Scriptures to do, and it’s so important. Paul said, “I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” This has nothing to do with how you feel; it’s a spiritual instruction, with immense spiritual benefits. When you lift your hands to the Lord, you may have observed that sometimes, they seem to tremble somehow. They weren’t shaking that way before you started praying and lifted them to the Lord. But the moment you raised them, the anointing came on them, and they started shaking; it’s a signal of the touch of the Spirit at that moment. And if you recognize it and accept what the Spirit of God is doing, and how He’s getting your attention, a lot more could happen. But not many understand these thi...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. HE LEADS US IN LOVE – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, MARCH 18TH, 2016.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:35). Walking in love is a primary way to tell that a Christian is being led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit only leads us in love. He’ll never lead you in such a way as to hate anyone, be proud, arrogant or express unrestrained anger. In walking with the Lord, one of the things He seeks to accomplish in your life is to have His love fully expressed through you, such that you’re patient, meek, kind and not easily provoked. James 1:19 (GNB) says, “...Everyone must be quick to listen, but slow to speak and slow to become angry.” People with uncontrolled temper do foolish things, which is why the Bible says, “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools” (Ecclesiastes 7:9). Decide that there’ll never be anybody anywhere that you’ll begrudge, dislike, or be bitter against. It doesn’t matter the extent of hatred you experience from others, you’re only p...

TRUTH AFFIRMATIONS

I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water, my leaves are evergreen and shall never wither. I am flourishing like the cedars of Lebanon. I don't know when dryness comes. I function under the auction of the Holy Spirit and I know all things. I am like the city set on a hill, I cannot be hidden. I am the light of the world. I am the salt of the earth, I preserve the earth. I do not walk in darkness because my path is that of a shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. I am walking in divine health because I have got the life of God in me, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. Every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, every cell of my blood is inundated with the life of God. I am a champion for life. Prosperity is mine, Favor is mine. My victory is sure. I am making progress, I am moving forward and upward only, No stagnation in my life. I am a success for life because of the Holy Spirit. I deal exc...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. JUDGE IT BY THE WORD- PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY, MARCH 17TH 2016.

Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge (1 Corinthians 14:29). Sometimes, people receive what they claim to be visions or revelations from the Lord without subjecting such to God's Word. They don't take the time to check that such visions and revelations are consistent with the written Word. For example, a certain man had a vision. He had been a Christian for many years, but he became sick. While on his sick bed, he had a vision where someone, wearing sandals and a white robe, and covered with a cloud, walked into the room. He started looking from the person's feet upwards to see who it was. As he looked to see his face; the man spoke up and said, "It's not my will to heal you," and disappeared. Although he couldn't see the face of the one who appeared to him, he believed it was Jesus, because he said he felt the presence of God in the room. Hence, he accepted that it wasn't the will of God to heal him, and began telling o...

DECLARE THE WORD AGAINST SITUATIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES

EPHESIANS 6:10-15 (KJV) The Armor of God 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind". In both 15mins sessions at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in the spirit, and in accordance with this scripture, stirring up God's special gifts imparted to us through the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. POWER IN THE WORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16TH 2016

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their  destruction  (Psalm 107:20). The power of God is in His Word. You receive power when you hear the Word. Our opening scripture says, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their  destruction ." Healing is a power. When the healing power of God comes to reside in you, it doesn't matter what sickness has been in your body that power would produce results and prevail. Matthew 8:16 says, "When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick." You see, the Lord Jesus cast out devils with His word! There's power in the Word. A dear sister's baby had been in the hospital for some time and things weren't looking good. The doctors had diagnosed the problem to be brain tumor and the prognosis was bleak; there was nothing more medical science could do. The family st...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. TUESDAY, 15TH MARCH 2016. RENEW YOUR THINKING – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2). After you’ve given your life to Christ, you’ve got a responsibility. The Bible tells us not to be like the rest of the world. Don’t conform to the world’s standards and ways of doing things. Be different. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That means, change your way of thinking; have a new mindset. If you want to see increased manifestation of the glory of God in your life, you must keep renewing your mind with the Word. Before you became a Christian, you heard, and spoke words from the world; words that you learnt from your friends, from school, your environment, the members of your family, etc. Sometimes they were bitter words, angry words, and harsh words. Some other times, they were nice words. However, God gives us words that are more than “nice”; words of the Kingdom, with which to tr...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. SPEAK HEAVENLY WORDS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME MONDAY, MARCH 14TH, 2016.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak (John 12:49-50). Jesus tells us in the verses above that His words are the Father’s commandments; everything that He said came from the Father. In other words, the Father gave Him a commandment of what He should say or what He should speak. What He said in the next verse is even more inspiring; He said, “And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak” (John 12:50). Amazing! In John 20:21, He said, “…Peace be unto you: As my Father had sent me even so send I you.” Notice that He wasn’t only talking to Peter, James, John or the other Apostles, but to us today. Thus, the same way He spoke the Father’s words, words from heaven, we’re to speak heaven...
