READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. MAINTAIN A GOOD CONSCIENCE – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH 2016

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10). Anyone who can do anything, not minding whether it’s right or wrong to get money, exhibits the love of money that the Lord warns against. From day to day, people struggle and get involved in excessive activities in a bid to make more money. This shouldn’t be the case with you. Never find yourself doing things that aren’t consistent with your nature in Christ, just because you want to get more money. The Bible says, “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness” (1 Timothy 6:11). He wants you to live a godly life; He wants you to focus on the expression and demonstration of His righteousness. He wants you to be forthright in all your dealings. As you serve the Lord, be motivated by your love for Him, and your passion for the expans...

THE POWER OF POSITIVE DESIRE

In Genesis chapter one, God was operating on a spiritual principle which can be more clearly seen in James 1:14-15 .   “But every man is tempted, when he is   drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth   forth sin: and sin, when it is finished,   bringeth forth death.”  Sin is the product of lust, and lust actually means a strong, urgent, evil desire. Though this scripture directly relates to a negative desire, yet we find this principle does not only work in the negative realm but also in the positive. When a man is tempted, his lust, that is, the wrong desire tries to pull him away. Finally when he agrees with the wrong desire in his mind, he is enticed. Initially a seed is sown when the man is drawn away by his own lust. This principle does not only work in the negative realm, because good desire can also conceive. And of course you should expect a better result when good desire conceives. Light is stronger than...

IS THE SABBATH DAY SATURDAY OR SUNDAY?

Question - Same (Botswana):   Hello Pastor, I love and appreciate you. One of my Teevo members asked about the controversy about the Sabbath day being on Saturday and which church must be doing it wrongly, that is the Sunday goers or the Saturday goers. Can you please brief up my knowledge and understanding about this? Answer:   There are no controversies because the Saturday is known to be the Sabbath but as to which church is doing it right, I think he means meeting on Sunday or meeting on Saturday; which is doing it right? The early church started meeting on Sunday because it was the day of resurrection being the first day of the week and the early church did not disregard the Sabbath and are not claiming that Sunday has become the Sabbath. In Matthew chapter 12 verses 8, Jesus already declared that the son of man is the Lord of the Sabbath. So, the Bible talks about they gathering on the first day of the week. So I think you can put your mind at rest. There’s no ...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. CHART YOUR COURSE ARIGHT – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SATURDAY, 17TH OF SEPTEMBER 2016

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23). Every time you speak, you shape your life and future; you chart your course in life. You’re today the result of your mouth-work. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...,” which means with your mouth, you can choose which would be your lot—death or life. So, you can see that you’re responsible for your life, because what you say is what you get. The Lord Jesus said, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:37). Notice that He didn’t say, “By the words of your parents, friends, or teachers in school, thou shall be justified or condemned,” no; it’s going to be by the words that come out of your own mouth. So, it’s up to you to...

#AFFIRMATIONTRAIN 16TH SEPTEMBER.

I affirm that I will not miss my way in life. I'm in the center of God's will and purpose for my life. The word of God is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path! Through the Word, my faith is strengthened and my life is upgraded! The eyes of my understanding are enlightened, and my mind is renewed and elevated to think in line with the word. God has granted me insight and foresight into the realities of the Kingdom and His eternal plans for all mankind. I have an inestimable and inexhaustible inheritance in Christ Jesus. At the cross, Jesus took my place and gave me His own; therefore, I’ll never be broke nor poor in life.  I’m an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ! Sickness and disease shall not fasten itself over me. I’m connected to an endless stream of prosperity, riches and glory. Hallelujah! I affirm that my seed (generation) shall be mighty upon earth: none of my generation shall bring forth shame or pain. One of my seed shall win a thousand, and two of the...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. HE’S COUNTING ON YOU – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH 2016

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16). As Christians, we’ve received the mandate to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth; it’s a most sublime and high calling. It’s something you’re to do with all boldness, faith, courage, and conviction. You must never be ashamed or apologetic about Christ and the message of the Gospel. Don’t be ashamed of who you are in Him, and don’t let others make you ashamed of what you believe. Paul said, “…I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…” (Romans 1:16). It’s only the Gospel that can catapult the sinner to salvation and righteousness. It’s only through the preaching of the Gospel that the righteousness of God can be unveiled and embraced. So, there’re no options to the Gospel. Its power and efficacy are incontrovertible; it’s the only message ...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. DISCOVER HIS PLAN FOR YOU – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH 2016

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). God has a plan for your life; a destiny that He created you to fulfil. Some people aren’t aware of this and as a result, they live empty lives. Some others don’t believe that God could have a plan for them; but why wouldn’t He? He created you! Discover His plan for you and walk in the light of it. God’s Spirit is in you, to build, strengthen, and guide you in the path of your divine destiny. Yield yourself to Him and let Him carry out His ministry in your life. You can’t do it on your own; you need Him to help you. Jesus said in John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” The Holy Spirit knows your future and everything about your life, and it’s His delight to h...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. SEE THE GOOD ONLY– PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH 2016.

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD (Psalm 33:5). Some people are always fishing for the wrong things; they never see good in anything or anywhere. They know all the bad things happening around, and are prompt to spread gossip, falsehood and negative information. Such people end up twisted in life, because they never see or celebrate the good in anything. Whereas, there’re those who always think and care about the good; they see good in everything. No matter what it is, they only look out for, and celebrate the good. They’re forever “good-conscious”; not because they’re naĆÆve, but because of the excellence of their personality. That’s how God expects you to live. The Bible says the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord; that’s all you should see—only good things. People who peddle rumours and bad news, and only see the negative side of everything can’t make much progress in life. Their values keep depreciating, and everyone w...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. THE EXCELLENT GLORY – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME TUESDAY, 13TH SEPTEMBER 2016.

…All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) Before Christ came, all men were under the curse of sin, and were therefore subject to condemnation, Satan, sickness, disease, poverty and depravity. This was the consequence of man’s fall in the Garden of Eden. Adam, before the fall, lived in the presence of God. God’s presence was his light; he walked in the presence of God. That connection or relationship was the glory. However, he was cut off from that glory when he listened to Satan and sinned against God. He died spiritually. Spiritual death is separation from God. Thus, through Adam’s transgression, all men died and became separated from the presence—the glory of God. Now, in Christ, the one who’s born again is made alive and awakened to the fatherhood of God. Romans 5:19 lets us know that because all men were made sinners by Adam’s disobedience, likewise, by the obedience of Christ, we’ve been made righteous. We’re no longer separated from the life of God...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. FINISH YOUR COURSE WITH JOY – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME MONDAY, 12TH SEPTEMBER 2016.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24). The Apostle Paul took personal responsibility for the Gospel. The Gospel, to him, was a sacred trust. He affirmed this when he said, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust” (1 Timothy 1:11). In 1 Corinthians 9:16, he affirmed, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” Again, in 1 Timothy 1:12, he declared, “…I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.” Paul’s conviction about the Gospel was absolute. He knew that the Gospel was the power of God for the salvation of all men, and he preached it with fervency. Nothing, and no one, could keep ...

GOD CARES FOR YOU

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32 It’s easy to deduce from the Scriptures that the Lord knows how to look after His own. Sadly, some have never understood this fact. The Lord Jesus asked the people a profound question in Matthew 7:11: “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Long before you showed up on the scene, God already made provision for you to live in wealth and unending prosperity; all you need to do is discover your rich inheritance in Christ, by looking into God’s Word. Psalms 35:27 says, “…Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” No wonder David declared boldly: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1) This is the reason you ought to be of good cheer always, knowing that the Lord has brought yo...

ALL THINGS WORK FOR YOUR GOOD!

“ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose ” Romans 8:28 If you’re a Christian, it doesn’t matter the situation you’ve found yourself, you’re still a victor!  In God’s Kingdom–where you’ve been born into–God has ordained everything to work together for your good. Nothing is to your disadvantage. David understanding this truth boldly declared “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psalm 16:6). Live with the consciousness that the Lord has perfected that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8).  Learn to trust Him, because He is your sufficiency; He is your all in all. This is the reason you ought to be of good cheer always, knowing that the Lord has brought you into a place of rest, victory and success. Your prosperity is assured, praise God.

BORN INTO WEALTH UNTOLD!

“The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…” (Romans 8:16–17) Being born again, you have an inheritance in Christ, Apostle Paul described this as unsearchable riches (Ephesians 3:8); wealth untold! It was bequeathed to you by the Monarch of the Universe – the One who said “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine…” (Haggai 2:8). All the wealth in this world belongs to God and by extension to you, for you are His heir. You are the heir of the mega-rich God; the fountain of riches. His wealth is limitless, inestimable and unquantifiable. Thus you’re born into wealth untold! Your Father’s wealth isn’t subject to the market forces of this world, or the stability of the world’s economy. That’s why it’s an insult to God for His kids to be broke and live beggarly lives. What you must learn to do is tap into this limitless wealth through your confessions of faith. Declare every d...

ZION: A PLACE OF ABSOLUTE HEALTH

“And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity” (Isaiah 33:24) In the scripture above, the prophet Isaiah talks about a city and informs us that the inhabitants of that city shall not say, “I am sick.” He introduces us to a place of absolute health. In Hebrews 12:22, the Bible tells us that we have come into that city; it’s called Zion – the city of the living God. That means those of us who are born again have been born into Zion and have become bonafide citizens of this glorious land of assurance and health. There’s no sickness in Zion. The day you made Jesus Lord of your life, you came into the place called Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17); you came into Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem. In Colossians 1:13 it’s called the Kingdom of God’s dear Son: “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” So, as a child of God you live in this spiritual kingdom where divinity re...

OUR SUFFICIENCY

“ Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God ” (2 Corinthians 3:5) The Amplified version renders our opening verse thus: “ Not that we are fit, qualified and sufficient in ability of ourselves, to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God .” Therefore, we’re to know and recognize God as our qualification, competence and strength, and not have confidence in our physical abilities, knowing that He has endued us with power from on high. This understanding informed David’s mentality when as a stripling he confronted and defeated the great Goliath of Gath. Conscious of God’s ability at work in him, he looked at Goliath and said, “… You come against me with a sword, and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the Name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied ” (1 Samuel 17:45 NIV). How important it is ...

YOU CAN MAKE THAT CHANGE!

“ Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your life ” (Galatians 6:5 MSG). Have you heard some people make statements like, “If God didn’t want that thing to happen, why did He let it happen?” You hear this from those who try to make God responsible for what is actually their responsibility. These folks are unaware that the authority to change things in the earth doesn’t rest with God, as He’s delegated that authority to us – His children. We have the responsibility to change things when the circumstances of our lives don’t line up with the provisions of the gospel of Christ. In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, “… all things are possible to him that believeth .” So the big question is: Do you believe? If you do, then what do you believe? If you believe God’s Word and put it to work in your life, then anything is possible unto you. You shouldn’t wait for God to alter your circumstances; you’re to make that change! By your faith, you can be what y...

‘JESUS’ THE NAME YOU CAN TRUST

“The mere sound of his name will signal hope, even among far off unbelievers”  (Matthew 12:21 MSG) In today’s world, people would judge the quality of a product and use it based on the strength of its brand name. Our God has his own “brand name” as it were. It’s the Name of Jesus! The Name of Jesus has been given to us (Acts 4:12). Therefore learning to live in and function by the power of that Name is what guarantees the upward and forward life. Philippians 2:10 describes for us the efficacy of the power in the Name of Jesus. The Bible also chronicles testimonies of healings and miracles done through the apostles, as they exercised the power of attorney to use the name of Jesus. “There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirit: and they were healed every one” (Acts 5:16). Other names may have their limitations, weaknesses and restraints, but Jesus, “ being made so much bette...

GROW UNTO MATURITY

“ And if ye be Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise ” (Galatians 3:29). As one who is born again, you’re Abraham’s seed, and therefore, all of God’s blessings belong to you (Galatians 3:29). But to effectively appropriate these blessings to your life, your words must align with the Word of God, and the realities of the new creation. For example, when a Christian says “O Lord, heal me; I just caught the flu and I am so sick”; you can immediately locate him as a babe in the things of the Spirit. The spiritually mature would rather speak the wisdom of God. Rather than talk sickness, he’d speak health and life. He’d say “The same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in me therefore I cannot be sick; I’m vitalized by the power of God – spirit, soul and body!” There’s a clear difference. The babe in Christ seeks to be healed; but the spiritually mature knows he cannot be sick, because he is the righteousness of God in Christ and ther...

PASTOR CHRIS QUOTES AT ALL PARTNERS' ONLINE CONFERENCE - DAY 1

"Partnership is your active ministry beyond your limit", says Our Dear Man of God Pastor Chris. "There are some things that God wants us to have. One of them is the right mentality and consciousness. "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts." Malachi 3:10-11 "There is a devourer and you got to know it. God's word tells us what to do. We are victors not victims." John 20:29 "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." BLESSED:...
