The difference between the Christian and the non-Christian isn’t just in the fact that the Christian goes to church while the non-Christian doesn’t; the difference is in their nature. The Christian has a new nature, the nature of God; his spirit has been recreated to have a new life—the divine life. The Christian is born of God; His origin is in God (1 John 4:4). It wasn’t just a mere change that took place in you when you were born again; it was an actual translation, a replacement or supplanting of the life with which you we...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL CHRISTIANITY IS BASED ON THE RESURRECTION - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SATURDAY 3RD, DECEMBER 2016

Hello Saints! If Christianity were all about salvation from sin, there wouldn’t have been the need for Jesus to rise from the dead. His death on the cross would have been enough; it paid for all our sins and guaranteed complete propitiation. However, that’s redemption, and not Christianity! Redemption refers to saving someone by paying a price. So when Jesus died, He paid the price for man’s redemption with His own life; He did that for all humanity; not for Christians. The Christian...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THREE CARDINAL VIRTUES - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY 2ND DECEMBER 2016

When Jesus walked the earth, there was something unique and different about His message; it was characterised by these three cardinal virtues: faith, hope, and love. When He spoke, faith came alive in the hearers. He introduced the Father to them and unveiled the Father’s will for their lives. He let them know what God had done for them and how to walk in their divine inheritance. Jesus also gave the people hope through His message; He made the future real and gave them a reason to believe in the future. His message also expressed and communicate...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUCCESS BY THE SPIRIT - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY 1ST DECEMBER 2016 .

Hello Saints! Success in life and in any  endeavor  isn’t in anything that one’s physical might or strength produces or can produce; true success is in the Spirit and by the Spirit. It’s not about something you’re doing or not doing; it’s about your relationship with the Holy Spirit; that’s what makes the difference, and that’s the most important factor for your success. The Bible says, “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth merc...

BELIEVE IN PROSPERITY!

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2) Your first step to living in prosperity is to believe in prosperity. I’m greatly concerned and feel really sorry for Christians who don’t believe in prosperity. Most times they are the same that condemn and criticize preachers who teach God’s Word on prosperity, and that’s sad. When you don’t believe in prosperity, or in the message of prosperity, you, you are inadvertently saying you don’t believe in God. This is because if you study your Bible carefully, you’d observe that God is personally involved in the prosperity of Christians! Prosperity is His idea, and desire. If anyone should be skeptical about the message of prosperity, it shouldn’t be the Christians, but the non-Christians. Interestingly, Christians have been called and specially anointed to make people rich. In 2 Corinthians 6:10, the scripture says “we bestow wealth on many ….” –Weymouth New Testament Tr...

BELIEVE WITH YOUR HEART AND GIVE NO PLACE TO DOUBT!

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10). In Mark 11:23 Jesus said, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; AND SHALL NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”From this scripture, we understand that doubting in your heart dissipates faith. Your mind may raise doubts and say, “How do you think it’s going to work?” That doesn’t mean you’ve doubted in your heart. Faith will work in your heart, even whilst there’re doubts in your mind. The doubt that messes up your faith is the one that comes from your heart. When arguments, theories, and reasons arise in your mind against what you’ve believed and laid hold of by faith, all you need do is pull them down with God’s Word (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Declare boldly and loudly that those things your s...

FAITH SPEAKS TO THE SITUATION

“… for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you .” (Matthew 17:20) God has dealt to every Christian the measure of faith  (Romans 12:3) ; he’s never given anybody less, but it’s your responsibility to increase your faith, and put it to work. Faith is increased by hearing god’s word, and strengthened by acting on the word. In faith, when faced with a challenging situation, you don’t cry, plead or beg god; rather you talk to the situation. Jesus said, “… if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain …” this means faith talks; you can calm the storms of life with your faith filled words! Realize that this is not dealing with prayer, because you’re not asking god for anything, rather you’re speaking to the situation, making it conform to the word. Your faith-filled words put you over and above in...

YOU ARE OF THE GOD-KIND

“… Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High ” (Psalms 82:6) The ancient Greek and Roman societies had pantheons to which they often held their devotions. The Bible however tells us of another pantheon, an assembly of gods, headed by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Peter talked about in it 2 Peter 1:4: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” The phrase “partakers of the divine nature” indicates that as believers in Christ, we’re in fraternal union with divinity! We’re comrades, associates or fellows with divinity. The expression “divine nature” derives from the Greek ‘ theios phusis ,’ which literally means, “an association of the God-kind.” This means that if you’re born again, you’re an associate of the God-kind; you’re in fraternity with divinity! It means you’ve been born into God’s class, with His nature and c...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THE OUTWORKING OF THE WORD IN YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY 30TH NOVEMBER, 2016.

Hello Saints! Download your complete e-copy of November Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional  for free in any language of your choice just click here   http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John   Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God (Ephesians 3:10). Do you know there’s something about us, the new creation, that the angels can’t get over? The angels are glorious and wonderful beings. They’re excellent in glory and mighty in power, but they’re amazed at what God has done with us, in us, and for us, because as glorious as they are, God doesn’t live in them, and as “unworthy” as we were, He gave us a new life and made us His living tabernacles. That remains a mystery to the angels; they don’t understand it. And guess what? God chose us to explain it to them...

ASK WHAT YOU WANT!

“ And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you ” (John 16:23) From the moment you received Christ, and made Him the Lord of your life, you became worthy of His attention, deserving of His kindness and blessings. Why? His righteousness has qualified you and made you worthy; it rightly positioned you to enjoy God’s best. Colossians 1:12 (AMP) says, “ Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified {and} made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light ” So now, you can act in boldness and ask for anything in the Name of Jesus, with full assurance you have God’s attention. By virtue of the new birth, you’ve been brought into His glorious presence and wonderful Kingdom; that’s where you live now! So you can approach Him boldly and ask what you want! He said, “Whatsoever you ask the Father, in my name, He will give it to you,” and that ...

PUT THE NAME TO WORK

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God  (1 John 5:13) Notice the underlined construction. The Apostle John says, “…that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” He’s simply saying, “Put the Name of Jesus to work!” The Name of Jesus is the Name that opens every door in every city and every nation. That’s the Name you need for a life of consistent victory, anywhere. For example, when Jesus gave the great commission in  Mark 16:15 to  “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature,” it was in His Name. He gave us His Name, and that’s bigger than the whole world.  Philippians 2:10  says “…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” This is the reason you can be comfortable in any...

SAY THIS WITH ME - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water, my leaves are evergreen and shall never wither. I am flourishing like the cedars of Lebanon. I don't know when dryness comes. I am making progress, I am moving forward and upward only, No stagnation in my life. I am a success for life because of the Holy Spirit. I deal excellently in all my affairs, n...

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SESSION WITH PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Dear Pastor, if one happens to find his/herself eating in the dream, what does it mean or what should one do? Pastor does it means am possess like many says or something? Please your answer is needed on this. ANSWER: GIVE YOUR DREAMS POSITIVE INTERPRETATIONS. Jeremiah 29:80 for thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners that be in the midst of you deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. In certain Christian circles, many believe that eating in your dream is ominous; they associate it with the activities of demons. But could there possibly be anything wrong with eating in your sleep? What’s the position of God’s Word on the subject? Let’s begin by reviewing Isaiah 29:7-8: “And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel…shall be as a dream of a night vision. It shall even be as when a hungry man dreameth, and behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a th...
