READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. THE LORD YOUR SALVATION! SATURDAY,DECEMBER 12,2015.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear...(Psalm 27:1). David was a remarkable and extraordinary prophet of God, and he wrote the Psalm above. He said, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear...” (Psalm 27:1). This is different from “The Lord gives me light.” What David is saying here is, if the Lord is your salvation, that means you’re in salvation. In other words, no matter where you go, you’re already saved from every trouble. For instance, the Bible says, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe” (Proverbs 18:10). So, if you’re in that tower, you’re safe; that’s what the Name of the Lord is. Which means, if you call the Name of the Lord, you’re in that tower; you’re in safety. Praise God! If the Lord is your salvation, you have nothing to fear. That means you’ll not need to call on Him to save you from trouble, because already, He’s your salvation. It was with this consciousness that David went to w

DON’T STOP PRAISING HIM!

“Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places” (Habakkuk 3:17-19) Sometimes, some Christians easily give up and succumb to the challenges that life throws at them. This is because they are yet to understand that if you’re a child of God, you aren't a victim! Paul and Silas set a good example; things couldn't have looked more hopeless for them, as they were bound in chains in the dark dungeon of that maximum security Roman prison. But instead of cringing in fear and hopelessness, they decided to praise God, and this resulted in their remarkable deliverance from that situation (Acts 16:23–36).This shou

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) - FRI DEC 11TH 2015

1 Corinthians 14:4 says "He who speaks in a [spiritual] tongue edifies and improves himself, but he who prophesies, edifies and improves the church and promotes growth [in Christian wisdom, piety, holiness, and happiness]". (AMP) At 12 noon and 10 pm today, we'll pray fervidly in tongues for 15 mins, edifying our spirits in God. As you pray, your faith will be stirred to high levels. Maintain your high levels of faith through meditation on the Word. God bless you.

BE A FERVENT SOUL WINNER!

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). As a child of God one of topmost priorities should be to lead those in your world who have not yet known the Lord into salvation. This is something you must take very seriously, because it’s an assignment committed to us by the Lord Himself. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” God did not only call you into the fellowship of His Son Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:9), He’s also called you to partner with Him in soul winning. In Romans 12:11 we’re admonished not to be slothful in business, but to be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. It’s talking about being fervent in God’s number one business, which is soul winning. People are God’s greatest assets on earth. Until you start winning people for Jesus, you’re not involved in God’s ass

LOOK THROUGH THE MIRROR OF GOD

“Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionist, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:10-11). Notice that our opening verse didn't say “…and such are some of you…” rather it says “…and such were some of you…” this is because now that you’re in Christ, you've been cleansed of all unrighteousness. You've put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him (Colossians 3:9-10). The Christian has been separated from sin unto God, and declared righteous, in the Name of the Lord, and by the Spirit of God! So now you are only to look at yourself through the Word; the new creation can only know what he looks like by looking into the mirror of God – His Word. It’s the mirror that shows your real picture in

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. LIVE OUT HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. FRIDAY,DECEMBER 11,2015.

…Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness…(Hebrews 1:8-9). As a child of God, one thing you must do in your life is to sanctify yourself. You may be endowed with gifts, and great potentials, but you can’t run your gifts together with bad behaviour. And that’s one of the reasons some people can’t experience real spiritual growth. If you want the anointing that promotes, lifts, and consistently keeps you at the top, and makes you untouchable, then you must love righteousness and hate iniquity. You can’t live in both. There has to be a consistency between the Gospel you believe and preach, and your life as a Christian. Where the consistency stops, is where your “blessings” stop. Then you find that things aren’t really working out in your life. Even when things seem to be working for you, somehow, you’

THE POWER OF PRAISE

Our God is great and greatly to be praised. He delights in our praises. As new creations we’re those He has sanctified and separated unto Himself to worship Him: “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh” (Philippians 3:3). Irrespective of the circumstances around us; whether or not we feel like it, the praise of God is continually in our mouths. How important it is for you to learn to praise the Lord in spite of adversity. When you sing the Lord’s praise, His glory is revealed, not only in your life, but also to your environment (Judges 5:1-7). In 2 Chronicles 20:1-22 for example, the nation of Judah had been surrounded by the armies of three nations, determined to destroy them and take over their land. But Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, was a wise king. He called together all the people of Judah and proclaimed a fast. As they fasted and prayed, the Lord gave them the strategy for battle. On the da

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL - CONTEMPLATE THE GLORY, THURSDAY,DECEMBER 10,2015.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high (Hebrews 1:3). Jesus Christ is the brightness of God’s glory, and the express image of His person. That means He’s the outshining of God’s glory, the expression and icon of the Father’s glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV) says: “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” How important it is to contemplate the glory of God. In the King James Version, it says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory….” What does this mean? The mirror of God is the Word of God. What happens when we contemplate the glory of God in the mirror of God? What does a mirror do?

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord
