DIVINE HEALTH

“ Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth .” (3 John 1:2) God’s greatest wish is for you to prosper and live in health. Notice that the scripture above doesn’t say “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be healed…” rather, it says “ that thou mayest prosper and be in health. ” This is living in divine health, and not merely getting healed. Healing is good, it’s the children’s bread, but walking in divine health is far better. When you’re living in divine health, you don’t need healing, because you don’t get sick. Some people feel it’s not possible to be perpetually healthy, but that’s not what the Word says. The life we have in Christ is sickness-free and disease-free, and this was accomplished through Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. As you grow in Christ, it’s important to live the good things for the best. Thus, you ought to transcend the level of needing healing from God, to living

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. YIELD TO THE LEADING OF THE SPIRIT - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD SUNDAY, APRIL 17TH 2016.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14). One reason some of God's children find themselves in unpalatable situations is that they don't submit to the leading of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads us through the Word. Any counsel you receive that's contrary to what the Word says isn't from the Holy Spirit. Some people pray about something, then an idea comes to them, and they say, "Well, God is leading me to do such-and-such." If you were to ask them, "Why do you believe it's God that's leading you in that direction?" they'd say, "Because I prayed about it." The fact that you prayed about it isn't enough! What did the Lord say to you after you prayed? Did He tell you expressly to go ahead and do whatever it is you think He's leading you to do? Is the idea you got in sync with God's Word? Is it consistent with the scriptures? His Word is His will expressed. In yielding

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH APRIL. GIVE HIM YOUR ATTENTION - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD

L isten to what I am saying; pay attention to what I am telling you (Isaiah 28:23 GNB). Some people don’t pay attention to the different activities of the Spirit that happen during the service when they’re in Church. They get carried away such that even though the presence and power of God could be so strong in that environment, their lives are not improved, because they’re distracted. Your undivided attention is so vital each time you’re in the presence of the Lord in the Church, and even during your personal devotions. God always has something special for you, a word for you that’ll increase your glory, but you’ve got to pay the right currency—your attention. When you give Him your attention, you get everything He has for you. God’s Word is God’s answer, and with your attention, you allow its free entrance into your spirit, until it changes your frame of mind, your way of thinking, and influences your words and delivers your inheritance to you. So, in praying to, and worshipi

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. HE CAME TO DO MUCH MORE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD FRIDAY 15TH APRIL 2016

I n whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will (Ephesians 1:11). There’s a way some people think about Jesus and the Gospel that’s inconsistent with the real purpose for which Jesus came into this world. For some, He came to save us from sin. But that’s not the reason He came. Yes, He saved us from sin, but He came for much more than that. To some others, all they know is that He came to “deliver” us from Satan and the forces of darkness. Again, that’s not the reason He came. How could He have come, lived and died, just to save us from sin and the devil? He came to do much more. Yes, He saved us from sin. Yes, He delivered us from the devil, and the wickedness that’s in the world, but all that were a means to an end. The Bible says, “And He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in to give us the land which He swore to give our fathers” (Deuteronomy 6:23 AMP).

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. BE DEFINITE ABOUT THE TRUTH - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD THURSDAY, APRIL 14TH 2016

It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, THAT THOU MIGHTEST KNOW THE CERTAINTY OF THOSE THINGS, WHEREIN THOU HAST BEEN INSTRUCTED (Luke 1:3-4). The things we believe in Christianity aren't assumptions; they're clear-cut, absolute truths. And the more we study the Scriptures, the more definite we are about the certainty of these things. The Bible says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). God's Word is truth, the only truth. There're no other truths outside the Bible. God gave us the Scriptures to study as our foundation and truth to believe and live by. Therefore, the Word is all we should accept, and most surely believe. Luke 1:1 says, "For as much as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are MOST

ONLY IN THE NAME OF JESUS!

The Lord Jesus minced no words when it came to salvation; He said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6)   He never suggested that salvation could come from any other means or through anyone else but Him. As a Christian, you must be absolutely convinced that there’s no salvation in any other name, except the Name of Jesus. When it dawns on your spirit that Jesus is the ONLY Name given under heaven by which men shall be saved, you’ll preach the gospel with conviction. The Bible says “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9). The way to receive salvation is to confess with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus, and believe with your heart that God raised Him from the dead for your justification. When the sinner confesses with his mouth, the Lordship of Jesus, and believes in his heart that God raised Him from th

@PASTORCHRISLIVE PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - WED APRIL 13TH, 2016

God wants you to serve Him with wholehearted devotion, willingness of mind, and honesty. Read more in today's Rhapsody or download from http://rhapsodyofrealities.org In both 15min sessions at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in the spirit, and especially for those we have reached with the gospel around the world; affirming that our message of Christ gains the ascendancy in their minds, words and actions, causing them to walk in the spirit, in sync with the Word, and in love, as the Lord commanded us. Affirm that the Word produces in them the health, strength, and peace of prosperity it talks about, and that they continually walk in dominion and victory over all adversity and opposition, being fruitful in every good work, in all circumstances to the praise and glory of God in Christ Jesus. Amen. God bless you.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. BE HONORABLE -PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13TH 2016.

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth (Psalm 37:21). Someone once asked, "Does God bless borrowed money, including borrowed money given to Him as offerings and seed?" There's nothing wrong if you borrow money, but make sure you pay back; otherwise, God doesn't like it. The Bible describes the one who doesn't pay his or her debt as wicked. God wants you to serve Him with wholehearted devotion, and willingness of mind, but at the same time, with honesty. Your integrity should be impeccable. There're people who don't have credibility, and don't care about their integrity. When they owe, they refuse to pay, and start praying for debt cancellation. Others deliberately stay away or hide from their creditors. This is wrong; it's the way of the wicked. The word "wicked" in our opening verse describes one whose ways are perverse; someone who isn't walking in the light of God; and that

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. ESTABLISH HIS WORD IN YOUR LIFE -PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD TUESDAY, 12TH APRIL 2016

In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes (Daniel 9:2-3). In the scripture above, Daniel was praying about the deliverance of Israel. He had read in the book of Jeremiah that their deliverance would come after seventy years in exile, and as he studied, he realized that that time had come. Even though it was time for the children of Israel to be free from their many years of captivity, Daniel knew he still had to pray. As Daniel prayed, God sent Angel Michael to bring down Persia. Persia had to fall before the children of Israel could be free from captivity. Daniel didn’t take chances; he said, “I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ash

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - MON APRIL 11TH 2016

Much rejoicing characterized the 3rd healing service of the Healing School Autumn session, which held yesterday in Johannesburg, South Africa. Many from around the world who came to be healed and delivered had their fruitful encounter with the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever; and His unfailingly love is our joy and confidence. Also present at the service were many ministers from several countries, who are here in Johannesburg for the ISM Ministers Network Conference, beginning today. Attendees are expected from over 145 countries. The Lord be praised. See highlights on loveworld news at http://loveworldnews.com For most of 15mins at 12noon and 10pm, we'll pray fervidly in tongues. We'll also pray for ministers of the gospel in all nations of the world, declaring that they're continually strengthened with might by the Holy Spirit in their inner man to fulfill their ministry without reproach. Declare that they remain steadfast

CONFESSIONS AND TESTIMONIES #Itestify

There’s a difference between confession and testimony. The confession of the WORD and the testimony of God’s WORD are not the same. When we confess the Word, we are responding to God’s Word in agreement with Him. Confession brings us the blessings of salvation. If I’ve been in a mess, or I’ve found myself in some predicament, maybe sickness, disease or affliction; I’ll confess the Word and by my confession I’ll catapult myself into the liberty of the children of God, because confession brings salvation. “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation…” (Romans 10:10 KJV) Testimony is different from confession. Testimony is bearing witness while Confession is speaking the same things in consent. It is speaking the same things in response to God’s Word. Testimony is bearing witness of Him. Oh! How important this is, the testimony of a Christian. The devil likes to stop us from testifying but brothers and sisters, it is importa

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. KEEP MAKING PROGRESS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD MONDAY 11TH APRIL 2016

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit (John 3:8). When you’re born again, you’re a mystery to the world, because you’re born of the Spirit. The Natural man can’t understand you. By the Spirit, David said, “I am as a wonder unto many...” (Psalm 71:7). That’s what God has made everyone that’s born of the Spirit. However, some Christians don’t know this; so, they live ordinary lives. You’re not ordinary; you’re not of this world. You belong in, and function from, a different realm: the realm of the Spirit. The Lord Jesus, in our opening text said, “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” In other words, those who are born again live by the Spirit. And the Spirit, like the wind, is always moving. Jesus didn’t tell us t

TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32). Words are powerful; they actually constitute the building blocks of our lives. Whether you know it or not, you built whatever life you’re living right now with your words. If for any reason, you’re dissatisfied with your present circumstances, you can take charge of your life and steer it away from where it is now to where you want it to be. The Bible tells us that the worlds were framed by the Word of God (Hebrews 11:3). God gave form, beauty and order to the world through His spoken Word; He spoke creation into existence. Genesis 1:2 says, “and the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep, this was the chaotic picture of the earth before God took charge and turned things around by His Spirit, through the spoken Word. He said, “let there be light: and there wa

HAVE CONFIDENCE IN GOD’S LOVE

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own [a]purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9). The Bible says you are God’s own purchased, special person. In other words, you’re God’s best! The reason you look at yourself small is that you don’t know who you are; you haven’t seen yourself in the mirror of God’s Word. To understand your value, you must contemplate the cost of your salvation. To see your price tag you must look at the cross of Calvary. That’s where you’ll see the magnitude of the price that was paid for you and then you’d know who you really are. You’re as valuable to God as the price He willingly paid for you. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son…” If He loved you enough to give the life of His Son for your sake, then you’re as valuable to Him as Jesu

BE MINDFUL OF YOUR NEW NATURE

“ Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him ” (Colossians 3:9-10). God has brought you out of darkness into His Kingdom of light: the Kingdom of His dear Son (Colossians 1:13). Therefore, it’s important you recognize that you’ve been completely delivered from the worldly lifestyle. Galatians 3:27 says, “ For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. ” You’re not the same man you were before you were born again. Your old nature has been supplanted with God’s nature of righteousness. The Bible says,  “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have disappeared, and-look!-all things have become new!”   (2 Corinthians 5:17 ISV). People may still call or address you by the same name with which they knew you prior to your rebirth, it makes no difference; now you’re a new man in Christ. God wants you

HE MAKES YOU A LIFE-GIVER

“Only the Holy Spirit gives eternal life.…” (John 6:63 TLB) The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life. When He comes into your life, not only does He give life to your body, He gives life to every area of your life—your work, business, academics, family, etc. In addition to bringing you life, the Holy Spirit also makes you a life-giver. He takes away the dryness and brings fruitfulness and productivity into your life. Isaiah 32:15 says, “Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest.” He’s the one who impregnates your words with power so that when you speak, things happen. He puts you ahead of others by causing your eyes to see what they don’t see, and anoints your hands so that anything you touch is blessed. Glory to God! There’s hope for the world because the Holy Spirit lives in you; and through you He can give life to your world. Remember, you’re His outstretched hands; He can only fully

BE A FERVENT SOUL WINNER!

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). As a child of God one of topmost priorities should be to lead those in your world who have not yet known the Lord into salvation. This is something you must take very seriously, because it’s an assignment committed to us by the Lord Himself. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” God did not only call you into the fellowship of His Son Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:9), He’s also called you to partner with Him in soul winning. In Romans 12:11 we’re admonished not to be slothful in business, but to be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. It’s talking about being fervent in God’s number one business, which soul winning. People are God’s greatest assets on earth. Until you start winning people for Jesus, you’re not involved in God’s asset bui

PARTAKERS OF A GLORIOUS INHERITANCE

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12). Do you realize your own good works or your own righteousness couldn’t qualify you for the blessing of God? Our opening verse of scripture expresses this as it says, God “hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” God the Father did this for us, in spite of ourselves. God in His infinite mercy and kindness qualified you for the good life. How exciting to realize that you don’t have to strive to be good enough for God. There’s no need to strive and work to merit His blessings, for it’s by His grace. His righteousness is your qualification to be a partaker of the glorious inheritance He’s prepared for the saints. Thus, all the glorious and precious promises in the Word that have come to us through Christ are your present hour possession. Prosperity, healing and health, success, spiritual advancement and everything that’s

YOU ARE AN ABLE MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL!

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8) As Christians, not only have we been divinely mandated to preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15), we’ve been endued with power from on high to function effectively as fervent souls winners. We’ve been made able ministers of the Gospel. The Apostle Paul being mindful of this said, “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry” (1 Timothy 1:12). We’ve been divinely enabled to manifest the Kingdom-life and show forth the unsearchable riches, graces, excellence and manifold wisdom of Christ through the preaching of the Gospel. This charge is for every Christian, not for a select few! You ought to be afire for the Lord, with your heart burning hot with the Good News. You have the Holy Spirit, and He has already ena

YOUR TESTIMONIES AND YOUR FAITH-WALK

For we walk by faith, not by sight   (2 Corinthians 5:7) The walk of faith is the lifestyle of every Christian. The earlier you realize this, the better for you. The reason is that you’ll be confronted with several challenges along your path. Amidst these, your testimony must remain consistent with what God has said. The Bible says, And being not weak in faith, he (Abraham) considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God  (Romans 4:19-20) . People laughed at and made mockery of Abraham, yet, he kept testifying that God has made him the father of many nations and his wife, Sarah, mother of princes. At the end, his tongue-work produced for him a son just as the Lord had said. Moreover, the Bible says, And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not th

YOU’RE A KING; SAY THE WORD

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth  (Revelation 5:10) Jesus said in  Matthew 18:18  “Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Here, Jesus didn’t mean that as you bind something on earth, God does the same thing in heaven. No. He meant that when you bind something on earth, you’re making a decree, and that decree is upheld by God in heaven. God has made us kings,  (Revelation 5:10) , and the Bible says in  Ecclesiastes 8:4 , “Where the word of a king is, there is power.” As God’s words carry and transmit power, your words also have in them creative ability to produce for you a harvest of what you say. Sadly, not many Christians have operated in this power; some have only been used to religious Christianity, where they beg God for everything. You’re a king, and kings don’t beg; they make decrees.  Job 22:28  says, “Thou shalt also decree a thin

CONFESSION FOR YOU

I function in the dominion of the Spirit, having been enthroned over Satan, the principalities of darkness and all negative circumstances. My life is the manifestation of the graces, many-sided wisdom, and perfections of God, whose glory I am, and whose presence I carry to impact and beautify my world, in the name of Jesus. Amen...
