READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. RAISED WITH A NEW KIND OF LIFE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SATURDAY,JANUARY 8TH, 2016.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4). There're many who think that all Jesus came to do was to save us from sin; but that's just one side of the story. Yes, He saved us from our sins, but He did that for a purpose: so He could make us sons of God. His ultimate aim was to give us a new life, the God-life! It wasn't just to save us from our sins. Saving us from our sins was a means to an end. Understand this: When He hung on the cross, and was crucified, you were in Him, because He did it for all men; He was made sin for us; He took our place. That's the legality of redemption. Even though you hadn't been born at the time He died, you were in Him. The same goes for all those who were born before He came—He was the representative of all men. When He died and was buried, in the mind of God, we all died and were

YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY!

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23). Some folks like to criticize those who believe in the message of faith, calling them the ‘name-it-and-claim-it bunch’. ‘How can you believe that by merely saying something is yours, it becomes yours?’ they query derogatorily. Well, guess what? That’s exactly what the Bible says! You can have whatever you say. The Lord Jesus was unequivocal in His statement in the opening Scripture about the power of confessions made from a heart that is full of faith. He said ‘whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;’… that lets me know He’s talking about you and me since ‘whosoever’ is a ‘blank cheque!’ Jesus also said, ‘…and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe tha

GET THE MASTER’S ATTENTION!

“For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans10:13). When the Bible uses the term ‘whosoever,’ it means anybody! Anybody can call on the Name of the Lord and receive a miracle, but it must be a call of faith. God has great respect for faith. There’s no discrimination with Him; all you need do to receive a miracle is to make the call of faith. Reliving the lessons learned in the story of blind Bartimaeus, the Bible says, when he heard that Jesus Christ of Nazareth was passing by, he cried out to Jesus. And when it seemed as though he hadn’t caught the Lord’s attention, he cried out the more. He yelled out loud until the Lord couldn’t resist his call of faith and commanded him to be brought forward. How wonderful! You may have been calling out to the Lord for help and it seems as though He is yet to respond. It’s time to cry out the more, a great deal like blind Bartimaeus! Don’t keep quiet. Let your faith concerning that new job you have believe

VOCALIZE YOUR FAITH.

“For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23). ‘This mountain” in the above Scripture could represent anything. For example, getting a job may be the mountain you face, and you’ve got to be specific when you speak to it. Tell it where to move to; speak to your certificate and credentials and tell them, “You are going to the right place and will get the right job for me.” It may seem impossible to imagine that mountain moving, but Jesus said it will, and you better believe what He says. He needs you to realize that the magnitude of the problem does not matter when you believe. The above statement gives us a supernatural law that works without fail and produces results. Our situations may differ, but God’s Word is just like the sun; it gives light to the one wh

BELIEVE WITH YOUR HEART AND GIVE NO PLACE TO DOUBT!

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation   (Romans 10:10). In Mark 11:23 Jesus said , “ For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; AND SHALL NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” From this scripture, we understand that doubting in your heart dissipates faith. Your mind may raise doubts and say, “How do you think it’s going to work?” That doesn’t mean you’ve doubted in your heart. Faith will work in your heart, even whilst there’re doubts in your mind. The doubt that messes up your faith is the one that comes from your heart. When arguments, theories, and reasons arise in your mind against what you’ve believed and laid hold of by faith, all you need do is pull them down with God’s Word (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Declare boldly and loudly that those thin

FAITH SPEAKS TO THE SITUATION

“… for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you .” (Matthew 17:20) God has dealt to every Christian the measure of faith  (Romans 12:3) ; he’s never given anybody less, but it’s your responsibility to increase your faith, and put it to work. faith is increased by hearing god’s word, and strengthened by acting on the word. in faith, when faced with a challenging situation, you don’t cry, plead or beg god; rather you talk to the situation. Jesus said, “… if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain …” this means faith talks; you can calm the storms of life with your faith filled words! realize that this is not dealing with prayer, because you’re not asking god for anything, rather you’re speaking to the situation, making it conform to the word. your faith-filled words put you over and above in li

REFUSE TO FEAR!

“He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions” (Daniel 6:27) The Lord is a deliverer and rescuer. He can deliver you from trouble and rescue you from the hand of your enemies. He is a safe place. Proverbs 18:10 says, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” If you’re in Christ, you’re safe. Your life is hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). Christ has become your security, your defense and your fortress. The Bible says He is “…able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25). No wonder He charged us so many times in the Word not to fear. Don’t give attention to information that makes the adversary appear powerful. That’s how fear builds up and takes over. Instead, fortify your spirit with God’s Words of faith. Listen to faith-filled words again and

THE “UN-INFECTABLE” BREED!

And these signs shall follow them that believe…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them… (Mark 16:17-18). The Words of Jesus in this Scripture above are as clear as they ever could be- the believer is immune to deadly ingestions! If he drinks any deadly or poisonous substance, it should have no effect on him. Notice that Jesus didn’t say, “If they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not kill them,” He said “it shall not hurt them.” This means it’s not supposed to hurt you, let alone kill you. It makes no difference whether the deadly substance gets into your system through your mouth or through your veins–it shall have no effect on you. The Bible gives us the account of the Apostle Paul, after he and his co-travelers were shipwrecked at the island of Malta. Being a very cold Island, the natives went out of their way to build a huge bonfire and gathered Paul and his colleagues around it. The Bible says “After Paul had gathered some wood and had put it on the fire

LET THE WORD DOMINATE YOU.

The Word of God has the ability to impact not only your spirit and your mind, but also your physical body. In Hebrews 4:12, the Bible says God’s Word reaches right into your soul and spirit, and your joints and bone marrow. That means as you take the Word into you, it goes into your mind, and impacts every fiber of your being. God’s Word works in your spirit the same way physical food works in your body. Just as the food you eat is broken down and absorbed until it becomes part of you, so also the Word of God that you receive into your spirit, becomes in you what it says. The Bible says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all” (1 timothy 4:15). What are you supposed to meditate on? God’s Word! Make the quality decision today to let God’s Word dominate you. Be a doer and not just a hearer of the Word. Have definite times when you listen to God’s Word and study the Scriptures voraciously. Have definite times of meditation, when

FREE FROM ACCUSATION! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, 8TH JANUARY, 2016.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight (Colossians 1:21-22) . Jesus saved us, and our opening text shows us what He’s made us. He’s reconciled you in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in God’s sight. This isn't something God is trying to do, or going to do; He’s already done it through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So, this isn't a promise; it’s a statement of fact. You've been reconciled with the Father, and the latter part of the opening scripture clearly reveals to us the reason for the reconciliation: to present you holy, blameless and above reproach in God’s sight. It doesn't matter what anybody thinks about you! God says you’re holy, faultless and irreproachable. This is who you are to Him. This is how He’s presented yo

THE POWER OF THE WORD

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12) When the Word of God gets into your spirit, it has the power to make you what it talks about, bringing about a transformation. The Word is the only agent that can transform a person’s life on all three levels–spirit, soul and body. Romans 12:2 says, “ And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind … ” this means that the Word can also transform your way of thinking. Then also, the Word can transform your physical body: “ My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings… for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh .” (Proverbs 4:20-22). The word “health” is from the Hebrew word “ marpe ” which means medicine, showing God’s Word will immunize you against

THE HEALING POWER OF THE WORD

God’s Word is therapeutic, curative and has regenerative ability – its medicine for your body. The Word brings healing and soundness, and that’s why as a Christian, it is important to give yourself wholly to the Word. Each time you put the Word of God in you, it produces life and health in you, thereby destroying sickness and making you immune. Give the Word undivided attention; be a doer of the Word, because you will only experience the blessings of the Word of God if you act on it. I recall an inspiring testimony of a brother who was diagnosed with cancer. Rather than being discouraged, he locked himself away for a month, listening to our messages over and over again. By the time he went for his next appointment with the doctors, they couldn't find a single trace of cancer. All the while, he digested the Word, there was a curative process going on. The Word of God completely eradicated the cancer. What kind of challenge are you facing in your physical body today? God’s W

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES JESUS—THE COMPLETE EMBODIMENT OF DEITY! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY, JANUARY 7TH. 2016

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him (Colossians 1:15-16). How awesome and inspiring this is! Christ Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Now, that word "image" is the Greek "eikon," which is translated 'icon" in English. Think about a computer or a mobile device, for example. You may not see the application in the system, but you see the icon—a quickly comprehensible symbol—that helps to easily navigate that computer system or mobile device as you click on it. Colossians 1:15 tells us that Jesus "...is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature"; that means He's the outward expression of the invisible God. To see Jesus, is to see God. In John 14:8-9, when Philip ask

***A MUST READ***

A King had a male servant who, in all circumstances always said to him; My king, do not be discouraged because everything God does is perfect, no mistake. One day, they went hunting and a wild animal attacked the king, the servant managed to kill the animal but couldn't prevent his majesty from losing a finger. Furious and without showing gratitude, the King said; if God was good, I would not have been attacked and lost one finger. The servant replied; Despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good and everything He does is perfect, He is never wrong. Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his servant. Later, he left for another hunt and was captured by savages who use human beings for sacrifice. In the altar, the savages found out that the king didn't have one finger in place, he was released because he was considered "not complete" to be offered to the gods. On his return to the palace, he authorized the release of

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6TH TRUST THE LORD AND STAY FOCUSED BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed (Proverbs 16:3 NIV). In setting new goals, and in your plan to create new levels of prosperity and growth, stay focused on the Word. Pray and meditate on the Word. Set definite times of fellowship with the Spirit. Every now and then, speak in tongues and talk to the Lord about your goals, and He'll make sure you achieve them. Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Isaiah 26:3 says, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." The phrase translated "perfect peace" in the verse above implies peace with prosperity. It says, "thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee...." You must stay your mind on the Lord. Take your mind away from the news and information that cause fear, depression, and distractions, and stay your mind on the Lord

PREPARE THEIR HEARTS IN PRAYER BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME .TUESDAY, JANUARY 5TH 2016.

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day (Genesis 32:24). The message of the Gospel that's been committed to our trust is a pearl of great price. Therefore, we must see to it that it produces the desired impact and transforms the lives of those we minister to, by preparing their hearts to receive the Word; otherwise, the Word you share with them could be of non-effect. The Gospel we've been commissioned to preach and teach is the only hope and power for the salvation of mankind. Therefore, the right prayer is very important for that message to transform lives. You have to travail in prayer; a form of agony of soul. In Luke 22:44, Jesus prayed that way: "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." The English word translated "agony" is the Greek "agonia", which means struggle, as to fight; like you're conte

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - MON JAN 4TH 2016

Happy New Year. Our Global Communion Service for the month of January held yesterday, and we had a glorious time of fellowship. We discussed three important virtues granted us through the message of the year for our spreading: divine Wisdom, Speed and Ability. Therefore take advantage of the Word, and run with it. Remember to review and study your notes from the Dec 31st Night Service and the Communion Service. In both 15mins sessions at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in the spirit, worshiping and thanking the Lord, declaring boldly that the Word of God is working in and through us, continually producing glory and excellence. Affirm that you live in the realm of the spirit, walking by the spirit throughout 2016, bringing forth fruits and results that are pleasing to the Father, in His perfect will for you and His divine purposes. Hallelujah! God bless you

DON’T SHIFT YOUR GAZE

In the book of Numbers 21:7-9, many of the children of Israel were killed by fiery serpents that invaded their camp. Moses prayed to God for mercy and God instructed him to make a serpent of brass and set it upon a pole, and if anyone who was bitten by a fiery serpent looked upon this brazen serpent, he was healed and didn’t die. In the New Testament, Jesus likened himself to this serpent Moses lifted up on the pole in the wilderness (John 3:14). Are you sick in the body? Have you given up hope on ever being healed? God is more willing to heal you than you are willing to be healed (Acts10:38). He’s touched with the feeling of your infirmities, but first, you have to make up your mind for something; you must accept and receive the Healer. The Giver of the gift is more important than the gift He gives. The Amplified translation of Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking away from all that will distract, to Jesus…” Look away from your problem, it could distract you. Look away from your pains; lo

GOD’S GREATEST WISH FOR YOU

It’s so interesting to know what God’s greatest wish for you really is. God’s greatest wish and desire is for you to prosper and be in health! He desires your prosperity in its entirety- prosperity in your health, your job, your family, your ministry and every area of your life. He wishes above all things that you prosper and be in good health. Notice how He conjoins His desire for your prosperity with your health. He lets you know how much He wants you rich and healthy. He desires above all things that you are not bound by any kind of infirmity. Maybe you have been sick for a long time, or you know someone who has been confined to a wheel chair and the doctors say there is no hope. I have good news for you: God desires above all things for you to rise up from that sick bed; He desires for you to walk again. He desires to see those blind eyes pop open. He desires for those deaf ears to be unstopped today. He desires for all your needs to be supplied and your bills paid. God wants

AUTHORITY FAR ABOVE PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS

“He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them Unclad through the streets” (Colossians 2:15 MSG). Writing to the Church at Ephesus, the Apostle Paul lets us in on the structure of the devil and his demons. He talks about the different orders and principalities: “ For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places ” (Ephesians 6:12). So there are principalities, powers, and rulers of the darkness of this world. The highest cadre of this structure, wicked spirits in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 AMP), set up their thrones and operate in the heavenly places from where they control large dominions, rule over nations and regions. They also control the affairs of men who yield themselves to the devil. But as you study Ephesians 2:6, you observe that you’ve been raised together with, and made

LOOK TO HIM! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME MONDAY, JANUARY 4TH 2016.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2). How important it is for us to take our eyes and attention away from ourselves—who we are, what we've done, where we've been, what we've got—and look to the Lord! It brings to mind the story of Abraham, a very important experience he had with the Lord. In Genesis 15:1, God said to him, "Fear not...I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." Nevertheless, Abraham complained, "Lord GOD..., what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless... Behold, to me thou hast given no seed..." (Genesis 15:2-3). God had promised him a son before now, but Abraham was still struggling to believe. God then took Him out and said, "Look now toward heaven..., and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and He said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the Lord; and He counted it to him for righteou
