A verse like this makes one wonder at folks who though born again, are still seeking deliverance. The Word says God has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has transferred us

AN EXTRAORDINARY AUTHORITY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) (Romans 5:17). The literal translation of the word “reign” in the verse above is taken from the root word “Basileuo” (Greek), and it means to “king” or “be king.” It’s the verb of kingship. So, you could actually say, “They which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall ‘king’ or ‘be kings’ in life.” They’re going to carry out the functions of a king; they’ll reign and rule in life. That means you have an extraordinary authority. What you have to do is to learn about the authority you have. What’s the implication and extent of this extraordinary authority? What does this give you? It bestows on you the gift of righteousness; righteousness makes us masters. The Bible says the law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17). He came with grace, and brought us r

TRIUMPHANT ALL THE WAY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14).  1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Then Paul, by the Spirit, in a most poetic and inspiring manner submitted in Romans 8:35-37, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?....Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” With this understanding, when you face tests, trials, and persecutions, when the fierce storms and pressures of life billow against you, refuse to be moved, because you’re more than a conqueror. Your testimony is assured, because you’re a victor in Christ Jesus. Nothing can overwhelm you, because the greater One lives in you and He causes you to triumph always, and in e

THE KNOWLEDGE IS IN OUR SPIRITS – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together (Romans 8:16-17). Being born again, we have the witness in our spirits that we’re the children of God. Having received eternal life from Jesus Christ, the Spirit of God bears witness with your spirit; there’s a knowledge way down deep inside you that God is your Father. This isn’t an assumption! We have inside information, knowledge produced in us by the Holy Spirit that we’re born of God. Notice the latter part of our opening scripture; it’s so beautiful. It says, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” How could you be broke, or live an ordinary life, with the knowledge that you’re not only an heir of God, but also a joint heir with Christ? Do you

GOD’S DREAM FOR YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). In our study today, we’ll examine two vital thoughts, relating to God’s dream for you. First is that as a Christian, you must realize that you’re vitally the house, the living tabernacle of the almighty God. You’re full of God as Jesus was when He walked the earth. God isn’t any less in you today than He was in Jesus Christ. This isn’t something you’ll have to grow into as time goes by, no; it’s a reality you have to wake up to. You’re the temple of the living God. 1 Corinthians 3:16 says, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” What God wants is that you become God-inside-minded. He’s filled you with Himself. This became possible with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. His resurrection made it possible for us to have and live the God-life. Secondly, God wants you to know and walk in th
