GOD’S DESIRE FOR YOU

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant” (Psalm 35:27) God has called you to a life of prosperity. Referring to God’s children, the Bible says: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures” (Job 36:11). This is your heritage as a child of God. Prosperity transcends having money; being rich, wealthy and affluent is just an aspect of it. Prosperity means to be safe and well, to fare well in life; to live happily in rest, health, peace, safety, riches and favor. It means to experience total soundness and wholeness in every aspect of your life – to be successful in all you do. God doesn’t just desire prosperity for you (3 John 2), He gave it to you freely in Christ (1 Timothy 6:17). YOUR HARVEST IS IN YOUR MOUTH

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). Some people wonder why things aren’t working out right in their finances in spite of the fact that they pay their tithes and give their offerings. Jesus said in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom….” This already indicates that when you give, there’s an increase of grace for you to receive. So when you pay your tithes, give your offerings, or sow special seeds, you’re actually opening up your capacity to receive. However, you have to water the seeds you’ve sown with the Word of God and prayer and then call forth your harvest with your faith-filled confessions. HE COMMANDS HIS BLESSINGS

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.” (Psalm 133:1-3) When you take a closer look at verse 3, you would notice David was talking about the anointing of the Holy Ghost. David referred to the anointing ‘as the dew of Hermon’. Mount Zion and Mount Hermon, according to the Bible, are one and the same. “And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were on this side Jordan toward the sun rising; From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon,” (Deuteronomy 4:47-48) When I studied more about mount Hermon, I discovered that it always had dew on it; morning, noon a...

SYMBOLIZE GOD’S BLESSING

God has called and chosen you for a purpose, and that is to show forth through you His manifold wisdom and demonstrate His excellence to your world. It’s His purpose and desire to prove His extraordinary greatness in your life. He told the children of Israel, “You’ll be the head and not the tail; you’ll be above and not beneath” (Deuteronomy 28:13). Now, being the head doesn’t necessarily mean becoming the managing director of an organization. Look at Joseph; he went into Potiphar’s house as a slave, but the Bible says he was a prosperous man. When Potiphar recognized that the Lord was with Joseph and that all he did prospered, he put him in charge of his entire household and everything he had, and God blessed him for Joseph’s sake (Genesis 39:1-5). It was the same story with Jacob. At the time he worked for Laban, his uncle, Laban acknowledged and said: “…I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake” (Genesis 30:27). TAKE POSSESSION IN THE SPIRIT!

The Bible lets us know that God has set eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Meaning there’s no limit to what you can possess by faith! You have the capacity to contain eternity itself in your spirit. This was how Abraham became the possessor of the whole earth. The Lord said to him in Genesis 13: 14-15, “…Lift up now thine eyes, look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever”. Abraham knew that the Lord wasn’t talking about physical lands. By faith, he saw the whole world with his spiritual eyes, and once he was able to see it, God said “it’s yours!” Start practicing how to see and take possession from your spirit for that’s where God guides you from. RECEIVE ALL THINGS

“Therefore, let no man glory in men. For all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). Did you notice the Bible didn't say some things, or all spiritual things are yours? Rather, it says all things are yours! You may say, “But when I look at my life, it doesn't seem as though all things truly belong to me!” The problem is, you're looking at the wrong things. Stop looking at what you think you don't have and receive what God has given you. The Bible says it's impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18); if He says all things are yours, then all things are yours. It's your responsibility to receive God's Word into your spirit and walk in the light of it. This is what the New Testament is all about – receiving what God has given! You're not supposed to work to get anything because God has already given you everything. You should know that it's one thing to be given something and another thing to receive it. ABRAHAM’S BLESSINGS ARE YOURS!

When you were born again, you became the seed of Abraham and thus the inheritor of the Abrahamic blessing. Your relationship with Christ has made you the real descendant of Abraham, and therefore possessor of the blessings God conferred on Him. Galatians 3:29 says “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” As the seed of Abraham, nothing is too good for you; you’re blessed beyond measure! Failure, sickness, diseases, lack and death are not consistent with your life anymore. As Abraham’s seed, the works of your hands are blessed; you are ordained to succeed. Fruitfulness and productivity have become your birthright. This is your heritage as the seed of Abraham. A lady once said “I’ve been married for many years and I’ve not been able to have children; the doctor said I’m barren” No! Not when you’re the seed of Abraham! Abraham’s seed can’t be barren; it’s impossible because the Bible says “…there shall not be male or female barren amon...

GOD’S ABUNDANT BLESSING

As a Christian, God has blessed you beyond measure. You have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Moreover, God didn’t bless you because you were good and kind. Your good works didn’t make God bless you more that He has already done. Jesus already died for you and made you his joint heir, He doesn’t need to bless you more than He already has. The truth is; you cannot but be blessed! There is nothing too good for you because you are a child of God. So, you don’t need to ask God to bless you anymore because everything he owns belongs to you. No wonder the Bible declares that all things are ours (1 Corinthians 3:21). The Psalmist acknowledged that ‘the earth is the Lord’s and its fullness thereof ‘, and the Lord has willingly bequeathed His entire wealth to you, as you are His heir. BELIEVE IN PROSPERITY!

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2) Your first step to living in prosperity is to believe in prosperity. I’m greatly concerned and feel really sorry for Christians who don’t believe in prosperity. Most times they are the same that condemn and criticize preachers who teach God’s Word on prosperity, and that’s sad. When you don’t believe in prosperity, or in the message of prosperity, you, you are inadvertently saying you don’t believe in God. This is because if you study your Bible carefully, you’d observe that God is personally involved in the prosperity of Christians! Prosperity is His idea, and desire. If anyone should be skeptical about the message of prosperity, it shouldn’t be the Christians, but the non Christians. They believe God is everywhere, so you don’t necessarily have to go to church to serve or worship Him. It’s not right. Our opening scripture expresses the importance of going to church. “Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out” (Deuteronomy 28:6). Have you ever realized that God’s desire is not just to bless you, but to make you a blessing? Yes, it’s true, and that’s God’s purpose for your life. In Genesis 12:2, God said to Abraham, “…I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing…” When you understand this, you would realize that as a seed of Abraham, the reason for your life is to be a blessing! GOD’S CHOSEN BREED!

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”(1 Peter 2:9) The Bible describes those who are born again as a chosen breed; a chosen species; a new type of people – God’s dream people. This is what God longed for when He told the Jewish nation – if you obey my voice, I’ll make you a peculiar treasure, a peculiar people, a kingdom of priests, a holy nation (Exodus 19:5). Now, we are God’s dream fulfilled, and we didn’t have to sweat or struggle for it. We didn’t beg for it or do anything by ourselves to earn it; the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ conferred it on us. We got it by inheritance! CARRIERS OF GOD’S KINGDOM

“…The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you” Luke 17:20-21 If you’re born again, you have become the carrier of the Kingdom of God; the Kingdom is in you! When you arrive in a place, it means God’s Kingdom has arrived there. The world has suffered for too long from the influence of Satan's kingdom and it’s up to us now to dominate this world with the principles of God’s Kingdom. Rise up to your calling as a kingdom-carrier; don’t allow the devil run things around you. You’ve been given the highest authority in the universe to use in ruling over the devil and negative circumstances – the Name of Jesus. You can put a stop to sickness, war, death, poverty and all the other corrupting influences of the kingdom of darkness. You can super-impose peace, righteousness, love, joy, health and prosperity in your own sphere of contact. Hallelujah!

SELF-SUFFICIENT AND INDEPENDENT

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8) The Greek word translated “sufficiency” above is “auterkeia” from where we get the English word “autarchy” which means “an economic system of self-sufficiency and economic independence as a national policy.”So the idea the word of God communicates to us from the scripture is that God has given us a life of “economic independence and self-sufficiency,” as well as the grace to live that life. This means you have the ability to live completely independent of the economy in the country where you live. Therefore it doesn’t matter if there’s inflation; God has given you the ability to live beyond inflation and grow bigger than the economy. You have self-sustaining prosperity!
