SATAN HAS FALLEN - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven (Luke 10:18). There’s an account in the Bible where the Scribes accused Jesus of casting out devils by the prince of devils, Beelzebub. In His response, Jesus asked them an interesting question: “How can Satan cast out Satan?” In Matthew 12:25-26, He said to them, “...Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand.” What Jesus is letting us know is that Satan has a structured kingdom that’s not divided; he has fallen angels. He said in Mark 3:27, “No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.” He’s still dealing with the same subject. He’s saying except He (Jesus) has power over Satan, He couldn’t come into Satan’s house to plunder it. In other words...

MAINTAIN YOUR CONFESSION OF THE WORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee (Isaiah 43:2). When you study God’s Word, the economic problems and upheavals in the world today wouldn’t be a surprise to you. The socio-economic conditions in our world today must not dictate the circumstances of our existence. They must not control our faith in the Word of God. The Bible says those who know their God shall be strong and shall do exploits (Daniel 11:32). As a child of God, the troubles in the world are not set against you. Your prosperity is independent of inflation, economic meltdowns and downturns. You’re not of this world. You’re the seed of Abraham. Refuse to fret or be anxious, for if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small (Proverbs 24:10). The Lord is your strength. Remain strong in Him and in the power of His might. LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS

“ For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ ” 2 Corinthians 4:6 The Scripture above reveals the power and greatness of our God – He commanded light to come out of darkness. And according to the Scriptures, this same God has Himself shined in our hearts! This means He has brought within us the same ability to cause light to shine out of any dark situation. So as a Christian, the power to cause something positive to come out of any negative situation resides in you. Thus, if for example, a Christian has been diagnosed with cancer or diabetes, to him, that cancer or diabetes is the darkness he’s facing, and the light he desires to see is his healing. God is saying he can produce healing out of that cancer or diabetes! He can call forth his healing. No matter what darkness may be facing you today, you can command light to come out of it. If it’s sic...

MAINTAINING YOUR VICTORY THROUGH GRATITUDE

…Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen (Revelation 7:12). One important thing you can give to God is your praise and thanksgiving. In Luke 17:17, Jesus asked the leper who returned to give thanks, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine.” In Matthew 26:27, Jesus gave thanks to God for the cup – His own blood that would be shed! David wanted to show kindness to anyone who was left of the house of Saul, because of his gratitude to his friend Jonathan (2 Samuel 9:7). Elisha prayed for the woman who provided him with food and shelter to have a child – that was his expression of gratitude for the love she had shown to him (2 Kings 4:12-17). Maybe you’re thinking to yourself that there’s particularly nothing to be thankful for; you’re thinking, “After all, I’m sick” “I’m unhappy”; “I have bills to pay.” Well, if you’re a Christian, your life ought to be radiant and full of thanksgiving. E...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. MADE ALIVE IN CHRIST – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME TUESDAY, 27TH SEPTEMBER 2016.

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1). The word “quickened” above means “made alive”: “AND YOU [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1 AMP). This is a consciousness God wants us to have as His children. We’ve been made alive in Christ; the life of Christ is at work in your system; every fibre of your being is inundated with the divine life and energy of God. Can you see why no one, and nothing, can destroy you? You’re unconquerable! Consider that Jesus Christ, the Son of God in truth, gave Himself for you on the cross and died as your savior, and that God raised Him from the dead to give you a new life. That life isn’t at all subject to defeat, failure or death. John 1:14 says about Him: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” In John 10:10 He emphasized that He came so that we ...
