RID YOUR MIND OF THE WRONG STUFF

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8) The mind is a vital part of the human make-up. It’s our storehouse of information, and it matters the kind of information you keep in it, for that can accelerate or retard your progress. Philippians 4:8 gives us a guide on how to control our minds and use it to process only the right information. Don’t waste your mind on carnal, unproductive thoughts, for the carnal mind is enmity against God (Romans 8:7). The information you store in your mind tells a lot about you. Just as a man who loves to study would have a library of books, or a music lover a collection of music or a florist a garden of lovely flowers, what you “collect” in your mind reflects what you’re most concerned about. This is

BOUGHT WITH A PRICE!

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1 Corinthians 6:20) Many years ago, a Chinese brother was travelling on the same train with three gentlemen who wanted to play a game. They required a fourth person to play with them, so they asked him to join in. “I’m sorry,” he replied. “I didn't come with my hands.” The men stared at him in astonishment because to them, he seemed complete, yet, he said he didn't come with his hands. “What about these ones?” they asked. Then he replied, “They’re not mine; they belong to Jesus because He bought me with a price. Now I only use them for the things He wants done.” The salvation we have in Christ is serious business; Jesus paid a huge price by giving Himself in our place so we could go free. You therefore can’t afford to live life the way you choose anymore, for a price has been paid; you've been bought. Now you belong to Him and should live a life that’s pleasin

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. WHAT'S YOUR NAME? FRIDAY,NOVEMBER 27,2015.

And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob (Genesis 32:26-27). As a Christian, it’s important that the name you answer doesn’t contradict the Word or what you believe about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So, if you haven’t found out the meaning of your name, do so; and if the meaning isn’t consistent with who you are in Christ, change it. The name you answer is a major confession in your life, because your name is your destiny. The Lord Jesus changed Simon’s name to “Peter” for this same reason (Matthew 16:17-18). “Simon” means a reed that’s swayed in the wind; and that’s exactly how the man behaved. He would be courageous and full of faith one day, and doubting the next. But, “Peter” means a stone founded on a rock; by calling him Peter, the Master was revealing to him a new destiny and purpose. Moreover, when Jacob had an encounter with the Lord, before the L

REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 AMP). There’re some very inspiring thoughts to notice in our opening verse that describe your nature and calling in Christ Jesus. God created you to manifest His beauty, holiness, grace, glory, and excellence. You've been chosen to set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. This is your life! You’re excellent; you’re royalty. The phrase “royal priesthood” isn't just talking about a kingdom of priests, but “king-priests” in the order of Melchizedek. This is who you are in Christ. You’re a king; walk and talk as one! When you dress, dress with the consciousness that you’re a king. In everything you do, always remember who y

GRACE, GRACE AND EVEN MORE GRACE!

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever Amen” 2 Peter 3:18. Grace is not just unmerited favor, it is the inward working power that brings favor, acceptability, advantage, liberality and gifts to those who have received it. In addition, it is that supernatural elixir that makes all things work out for your benefit. It is an inward flow that causes an outward expression of joy, pleasure and acceptance in your life. This is the season of ‘more grace’; so, all these beautiful things grace brings are yours in abundance! Share your testimonies and experience of more grace in your life. Your comments may inspire others!

FAITH SPEAKS

#SeeingforRealities #dailyconfessionu4 I do not speak according to what I see with my optical eyes, but I call things I want to see into existence! I am not moved by symptoms and signs from the devil but only by the Word of God. I speak forth perfect health to my body and prosperity to my life, in the name of Jesus. Amen..

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. DON'T RESPOND IN FEAR. WEDNESDAY,NOVEMBER 25,2015.

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm (Mark 4:37-39). Some Christians find themselves in certain situations, and respond in fear. Even though they might pray and speak in tongues at such times, it’s usually out of fear. Such response can’t produce the desired result. Once, the disciples of Jesus were in a precarious situation. They were on board a boat with the Master who slept off on a pillow at the rear of the boat. Then a great storm ensued. The disciples became apprehensive, terrified that the boat might capsize. They ran to Jesus and said, “...Master, carest thou not that we perish?” (Mark 4:38). The Master didn't panic. He didn't say, “Oh, what a

Highlights of the IPPC 2015 from Southern Africa Zone 5

Thousands in Zimbabwe rejoice at God's Word, celebrating this year's triumphs. Thousands of brethren gather at Christ Embassy Belvedere in Harare and have been among the many converged at designated viewing centers in Zimbabwe, participating along with the rest of the world in the International Partners' Conference with the man of God, Rev. (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome.  Expectations and positive emotions were marked on the countenance of many as they participated amid an aura of power, the Holy Ghost and the unmistakable unction that have come to characterize such meetings with the man of God. The zeal and yearning for the revelation of God's word had been stoked from the 7-point plan of impartation expounded by the man of God on the opening night of the conference. They received every word from the man of God with readiness as the impartation he talked about was evidently taking place, satisfying their hunger. It was also heartening to see the zo

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. THINK EXCELLENT THOUGHTS. SUNDAY,NOVEMBER 22,2015.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). To “keep thy heart” means to mount guard over your heart, refusing to let just any thought come in. In Matthew 9:2-4, Jesus asked some religious scholars, “…Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?” That shows you’re responsible for the thoughts that come into your heart. So, watch and mount guard over your heart. It matters how and what you think. Several factors are responsible for the wrong mind-sets that many people have. Sometimes, it could be their upbringing or the environment in which they grew up. Many today are programmed negatively to think fear, falsehood, and deception, because of the unwholesome influence from their environments. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind….” The recreation of your spirit is God’s work, but the renewal of your mind is your responsibility. He gave you His Word to think upon and live b
