BUILD ON A FIRM FOUNDATION

In architecture, the higher you want to build a house, the deeper the foundation has to be. The great buildings we see all over the world, were not built in a hurry or carelessly. The Lord Jesus highlights this same principle in Matthew 7:24-25, which states thus; “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which buildeth his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” The foundation of a man’s life, determines how successful he will be in life. This simple, yet powerful principle, underscores the importance of the right foundation for the structure you want to build. It is applicable to whatever you want to build in life; it may be your career, business, finances, family and relationships. The reason for the problem inherent in some people’s lives is the absence of a deep and firm foundation; and that is t

THE MEASUREMENT OF A MAN’S STRENGTH

The worth of a man is measured by the greatness of his adversaries. You measure his importance by the power of the resistance he faces. The man that God uses will collide with powerful forces because the message in his mouth will be resisted. God’s confidence in man is measured by the kind of decisions he makes. He can dare you to make unpopular decisions or take steps that can stir the nest of others. But He will never ask you to do something stupid. If God tells you to do it, you will come out victorious at the end. There may be a lot of heat but if you are tough, you will be standing when the fire burns out! Jesus already said in His Word that we would be persecuted. The prophets of old were seriously persecuted; the Apostles were stripped naked, flogged and stoned; some were even killed. But they rejoiced in all these because they made God’s Words and obedience to his voice top priority. The Lord Jesus was also rejected by His own. Therefore, as the Word says, be followers

PRAYER FOR YOU

I thank You dear Lord for bringing me out of darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son, where I reign by grace through righteousness, and enjoy the glorious liberty of the sons of God. You're the light of my life, by which I navigate my way excellently through life in victory, health, dominion, and success, in Jesus name. Amen..

MINISTER TO THE LORD

“ Now there were in the church at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; …as they ministered to the lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said …” (Acts 13:1-2) It’s vital to learn how to minister to the Lord, and more importantly, to know when to pray the prayer of worship. The opening scripture says ’’… as they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said …’’; letting us know that the power of God’s Spirit is manifested as we minister to the Lord, in an atmosphere of true worship. To minister to Lord is to pray and worship according to His Word and to make confessions to His Name. Confession comes from the Greek word ‘ Homologia ’ which means speaking the same thing in consent or consonance with God; to say what God has said in agreement with Him. So in ministering to the Lord you say beautiful things about Him and revere His awesome majesty in line with the revelation of His personality in the Word. Ministering to the Lord is a very important aspect of our Christian se

PRAYER FINE-TUNES YOUR SPIRIT

“The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly” (Proverbs 20:27) God leads and guides you through your spirit, not through your mind, and that’s why the Bible calls your spirit ‘the candle of the Lord.’ Your spirit functions like an antenna, scanning the spirit realm to pick the signals of the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is always speaking, but sometimes you may not be alert spiritually as you should to hear what He is saying. This is why praying in tongues is so important: it makes your spirit more sensitive to God. Praying in tongues fine-tunes your spirit, much the same way you fine tune your television or radio set to get perfect signals. Spiritual signals are always being released from the realm of the Spirit, but your spiritual antenna has to be raised and tuned to receive those divine words of blessing, instruction, direction and counsel coming forth from the throne of heaven. When you’re in tune with the Spirit you won’t liv

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) FRIDAY JUNE 19TH 2015

Colossians 4:3 "And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains".For 15 mins at 12 noon and 10 pm (Local/GMT),  we'll pray fervently in tongues, and that more doors and opportunities would be opened for the gospel around the world. God bless you.

EFFECT THE CHANGE WITH YOUR WORDS!

“ We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe , and therefore speak ”  (2 Corinthians 4:13) The Lord Jesus displayed absolute mastery over the circumstances of life, including the forces of nature. One time He was hungry and walked to a fig tree, hoping to find some fruit to eat. But the tree was fruitless, as it was not yet the season for figs. Jesus then spoke to the tree saying,  “… No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it”   (Mark 11:14). The next day, Peter, called the Master’s attention to the fig tree, saying,  “ Master, behold the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away ”  (Mark 11:21). Here’s His response,  “ For verily I say unto you, That  whosoever shall say  unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;  and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoev

PREVAILING FAITH!

“ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”  (Romans 10:17) A striking thought to observe in our opening verse is that it tells us how faith comes; it’s by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Notice it didn’t say “faith cometh by having heard the Word”; but by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” The emphasis is on “hearing,” that is, the continued bombardment of your spirit with the Word of God. That’s what produces prevailing faith, the faith that always works. Faith always works! If it didn’t work, it wasn’t faith. For your faith to prevail all the time, you need to feed on the Word. You need to keep bombarding your spirit with the Word until it literally oozes out of your entire being! That’s how to grow prevailing faith; you have to get the Word into your system so much that you can only think, talk and live the Word!

FIGHT A GOOD FIGHT

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith (2 Corinthians 4:7). Paul looked back at his life and he confidently asserted to Timothy, “I have fought a good fight”. In one of his letters, he wrote concerning himself “of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck…” (2 Corinthians 11:24-25). He had been through so much that tried his faith, but he was able to testify that his faith prevailed. You don’t have to wait until the end of your life to be able say, “I have fought a good fight.” At every level and stage of your life, you can know that you have fought a good fight of faith. Remember that this fight isn’t a fight against the devil, but a fight of faith. Have you fought a good fight in your school or at your new job? Has your faith triumphed over every negative situation that you are facing now? If you’re not sure, it’s never too late to start; unlea

DON’T THROW AWAY YOUR DESIRES

God uses your strong desires to bring your dreams to pass. Write down your visions as God directed in Habakkuk 2:2.  He says,  “…write down the vision,   and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”  Some people give up too soon. Even when it comes to spiritual matters, they lose their confidence in the Word too easily. You can give up on physical things but don’t ever give up on praying, studying and doing the Word of God. You must remind God of His promises because not one word of all His promises has ever failed. He is a faithful Father. The Word of God says,  “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from   heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the   earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it   may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:   “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my   mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall   accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper   in the things whereto I sent it.”

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - WED JUNE 17TH 2015

Romans 8:26, 27 says "So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. 27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will". We'll pray fervidly in the spirit for 15 mins at 12 noon and 10 pm (Local/GMT). God bless you.

INTERCEDE FOR YOUR LEADERS.

Praying for the leaders of your country is the only effective mechanism that can bring about a government that will be responsive and genuinely cater for the yearnings of the overwhelming majority. There is no amount of political or social agitation that can reverse the dismal state of the economy of any nation except the prayers of God’s people. The socio-political or economic progress of your nation is not dependent on politicians and those in government; it is solely dependent on your words and the fervency of your prayers for those at the hem of affairs in your country! Even if they are not born again, you’re obliged to pray for them. You may have issues with their leadership style; you may not share same political ideologies with them, yet you still have the responsibility of interceding for them as a Christian. Learn to bless your country; refrain from speaking in negative terms against your country. Change the situation through prayers and a good confession. Proverbs 11:11 e
