The Bible says if all the miracles He performed were to be chronicled, the whole world wouldn’t contain the books that’d be written. That’s neither a hyperbole nor over amplification of facts; it’s the truth. His entire life was an unending stream of the supernatural. He brought hope, joy, and life to many. The Bible says He went about doing good, healing ALL that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38). Now, this same Jesus, although is in heaven today, the Bible says He’s the same yesterday, today,

Imagine someone who’s been given up by doctors to die. If he hears and believes in the love of God, hope will be rekindled in him and he’ll immediately start seeing the possibility of a better life. The Bible says, “…hope maketh not ashamed…” (Romans 5:5);  in other words, hope that’s anchored on God’s Word will never be dashed. This is why we must keep preaching and teaching about the love of the Father, so the people of the world can hear and dare to believe, that hope may blossom in their hearts. As they continue to hear and meditate on the m

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MEDITATE ON HIS LOVE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME TUESDAY 13TH DECEMBER 2016 .

Mark Chapter 5 tells the story of a certain woman who suffered hemorrhage for twelve long years, but was made whole by Jesus. Her audacity of faith must have come from what she heard about Jesus: that He radiated, manifested, and expressed the love of the Father. She must have heard how Jesus restored sight to the blind, raised the dead, made the lame to walk, and even restored maimed limbs. She must have been inspired to hear how He spoke loving words to the hurting, the rejected, downtrodden, and broken-hearted. She was therefore conv

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

In the book of Luke 17:11-18, the Bible records that Jesus healed ten lepers. However, it was the only one, having realized that he had been healed, who came back to Jesus, to give thanks. And Jesus said to him “…thy faith hath made thee whole”. You see, all ten were healed, but the one who returned to give thanks, received a greater miracle in his life – he was made whole. In the same manner you must learn to count your blessings and be grateful for all the Lord does for you. Learn to look out for the blessings and express gratitude, regardless of how small they may seem. Remember the song which says, Count your blessings name them one by one, Count your blessings; see what God has done, Count your blessings; name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord has done. How true this is! Sometimes we may not know how good the Lord has been to us, until we take stock of His goodness in our lives. When you are grateful for the little things, it won’t be long before greater

HE COMMANDS HIS BLESSINGS

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.” (Psalm 133:1-3) When you take a closer look at verse 3, you would notice David was talking about the anointing of the Holy Ghost. David referred to the anointing ‘as the dew of Hermon’. Mount Zion and Mount Hermon, according to the Bible, are one and the same. “And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were on this side Jordan toward the sun rising; From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon,” (Deuteronomy 4:47-48) When I studied more about mount Hermon, I discovered that it always had dew on it; morning, noon an

A LIFE OF PLEASANTNESS

“The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psalms 16:6) In the Book of Genesis, the Bible says God placed man in a garden that He made: The Garden of Eden. Eden means pleasure. Can you imagine that God put His first man in the garden of pleasure? From the very beginning, God determined that our lives should be full of pleasure. Psalms 5:12 (AMP) says, “For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).’’ David understood this when he said, “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psalms 16:6). The Contemporary English Version puts it this way, “You make my life pleasant, and my future is bright.” What a confession! In the eleventh verse, he said, “…in thy presence is fullness of joy: at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore” (Psalms 16:11). We were born right in

THE GOD-KIND OF TALK

Proverbs 18:21 tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” This means you can speak life and reap a harvest of good things. Whatever you believe and voice out with your mouth is what’s going to happen in your life. This is a law of the spirit, and it works, whether or not you believe it.

FAITH IS BASED ON THE WORD, NOT “OPTIMISM!”

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). You must have the Word of God as the basis for your believing and confession, for faith is based on God’s Word; it’s the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. Mere optimism is not a substitute for faith, for it doesn’t have its foundation on God’s Word. It doesn’t matter how much you anticipate or are hopeful for the best possible outcome in an endeavor, it still wouldn’t work if your hope doesn’t translate to faith. True faith transcends the realms of human theories, reasoning, impulses and optimism because faith is spiritual and only comes to you through the Word. So, for your faith to work and produce results, it’s got to be based on God’s Word. PRAYER FOR YOU Dear heavenly Father, I rejoice today at your Word that’s building my faith strong and enriching me in all things. Your Word is my life, and the light that shows me how to walk in the paths of victory, prosperity and success

QUALIFIED FOR THE BLESSING

Do you know that we couldn’t have qualified by ourselves; but God has qualified us through His Son Jesus. What a marvel this is! The Bible says “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12). It says, God has ‘made us meet,’ which means He has already done it; He has made us to be partakers of the inheritance. You don’t have to try to be good enough for God to bless you; there’s no need to strive and work to merit His grace and mercy, what qualifies you is your salvation; your identity in Christ, as Abraham’s seed. Hallelujah! Now you’re a partaker of all the glorious and precious promises in the Word that have come to us through Christ. Prosperity, healing and health, success, victory and everything that’s suited to the total well-being of man are now yours.

HEIRS OF THE ABRAHAMIC PROMISE

As a new creation, you belong to Christ; therefore you’re the seed of Abraham. Your association (union) with Christ automatically qualified you as the real descendant of Abraham, and by extension the possessor of all things, for God willed the whole world to Abraham. As the seed of Abraham, you’ve been blessed beyond measure. Failure, sickness, disease, lack and death cannot have dominion over you; you have a right and the power to vehemently reject them from your life.

MINISTER TO THE LORD

“Now there were in the church at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; …as they ministered to the lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said…” (Acts 13:1-2) It’s vital to learn how to minister to the Lord, and more importantly, to know when to pray the prayer of worship. The opening scripture says ’’…as they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said…’’; letting us know that the power of God’s Spirit is manifested as we minister to the Lord, in an atmosphere of true worship. To minister to Lord is to pray and worship according to His Word and to make confessions to His Name. Confession comes from the Greek word ‘Homologia’ which means speaking the same thing in consent or consonance with God; to say what God has said in agreement with Him. So in ministering to the Lord you say beautiful things about Him and revere His awesome majesty in line with the revelation of His personality in the Word. Ministering to the Lord is a very important aspect of our Christian service. Not

YOU’RE THE REAL SUPERMAN!

“But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” (Acts 1:8 AMP) If you’re born again you’re a superman. God has conferred on you such powers, abilities, gifts, strength, rights, might and privileges that you can only be described as extraordinary and supernatural. It’s important you understand this to be your true identity. Sadly, most Christians don’t even know who they really are, and that’s because most have never been taught. The Christian is one with whom anything is possible, because he has received from the Spirit of God the dynamic ability to change any hopeless situation. He’s one who’s been given authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Jesus said about the new creation in Mark 16:18, that if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, and when they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover. Why? Because they’re not ordinary! They’re not of this

EXPECT A MIRACLE WHEN YOU PRAY!

In our day, we cannot overemphasize the need and importance of miracles. It is the calling of every Christian to live in the realm of the supernatural. Miracles are the acts of God; He demonstrates His love and closeness to us through the supernatural manifestations in our lives. How do you explain that you pray to a God you do not see? Praying and expecting an answer reveals a desire for the miraculous. It shows the depth of a man’s desire to communicate with the supernatural. Every answered prayer is a miracle, irrespective of what is prayed about. Often times, God demonstrates His sovereignty by performing a miracle for you when you are not expecting it or when you think you don’t deserve it; He shows up on your behalf in His love for you. People pray everywhere irrespective of their religions and expect an answer because it is wrong to pray without expecting an answer. Your expectation of an answer is faith; when He answers, there is a miracle! Expect God to answer your prayer
