READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL BELIEVE IN WHAT HE’S DONE FOR YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SUNDAY 12TH FEBRUARY 2017

Glorious Greetings Saints of God! Download your complete e-copy of February Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here  http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). This verse of scripture is quite instructive; it says although Jesus was rich, He made Himself poor, so that you, through His poverty might be made rich. Someone may say, “Oh yes! He became poor for us spiritually”; no. Paul wasn’t talking about spiritual riches and spiritual poverty, because Jesus never became any less the Son of God in His physical body than He was in the bosom of the Father. When you study the entire chapter in context, you’d understand that He was talking about financial and material prosperity. For our sake, He lai...

THE HOLY SPIRIT CAUSES YOU TO PROSPER

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes… I will also save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you (Ezekiel 36:27-29). True and lasting prosperity comes through the Holy Spirit. In the Scripture above, God says, “I will put My Spirit within you… and I will also save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it….” In other words, He’s saying “I’ll get rid of the mess from your life, and then I will call for the corn;” which signifies prosperity. This means prosperity is a manifestation of the presence of Holy Spirit in your life! In the Church of Jesus Christ, there’s been a lot of preaching about prosperity. It’s been preached that “When you give, God will give back to you.” But you see, it doesn't end there; that’s half-truth. Truth has to be all-truth. So many of God’s people give: they sow seeds and give their offering but it doesn’t see...

APPRECIATE HIS WORK IN YOUR LIFE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:20). There're those who don't appreciate or even recognize the progress they've made, or the blessings of God in their lives. They always wear a worry look, troubled all the time, only seeing what they can't do, and what they don't have. They're quick to complain, "I haven't been promoted in the last five years!" The problem is, they fail to recognize and acknowledge all the other subtle promotions and blessings they experienced within the same period. Your promotion isn't only through your job; there're other kinds, and you've got to identify them and be appreciative. Haven't you learnt something new? Hasn't your knowledge and understanding of God's Word improved? Hasn't your prayer life become richer? Aren't you praying better than you used to? Always consider all these other blessings and improvements ...

REFUSE TO FEAR!

“He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions” (Daniel 6:27) The Lord is a deliverer and rescuer. He can deliver you from trouble and rescue you from the hand of your enemies. He is a safe place. Proverbs 18:10 says, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” If you’re in Christ, you’re safe. Your life is hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). Christ has become your security, your defense and your fortress. The Bible says He is “…able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25). No wonder He charged us so many times in the Word not to fear. Don’t give attention to information that makes the adversary appear powerful. That’s how fear builds up and takes over. Instead, fortify your spirit with God’s Words of faith. Listen to faith-filled words again and again unti...

TAKE CHARGE WITH YOUR MOUTH!

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand" (Ephesians 6:13). It’s essential for every Christian to be spiritually sensitive enough to detect and decisively deal with the enemy whenever he shows up on the scene. Contrary to what many believe, Satan isn’t sitting in one place with folded arms (Job 2:2). Peter describes him as roaming about like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour, and thus urged us to “Be sober, be vigilant…” (1 Peter 5:8). The reason the devil is able to plunder some lives, families or businesses is that they’ve not used the Word to take charge of the circumstances of their lives. Remember, the Christian who’s not a doer of God’s Word will suffer the same fate as the rest of the world (Psalm 119:67). Maybe last year didn’t turn out as you wanted it. Well, it’s another year and you can make changes with God’s Word and live in perpetual victory. It doesn’t matter what yo...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THE HELPER IS IN YOU - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SATURDAY 11TH FEBRUARY 2017

As a child of God, it’s important to know that no one, but the Holy Spirit, can and will lead you into your destiny of greatness. Of course, the Lord can use people to bless you; but don’t make the mistake of thinking such people can only be found in the “palaces” or high places of life. Think about it: Where was Joseph when he met the man that introduced him to Pharaoh, and ultimately, his destiny in Egypt? He was in prison! The reason God sent him to the prison was because the man who was to introduce him to Pharaoh would be coming there t...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SQUARE UP TO CHALLENGES - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY 9TH FEBRUARY 2017

Splendid Greetings Saints of God! There’re some Christians who, even though they’ve been born again for a long time, still love to be “babied.” When facing challenges, rather than squaring up to those challenges by putting their faith to work, they go seeking prayers and encouragement. They like to hear such words as, “Don’t worry; God is going to turn your worst into your best, and make a way where there seems to be no way.” But that’s not good enough. Don’t stay at the level where you’re always being pulled up; always looking for someone to encourage you, hoping that everything would work out for your good. Square up to the problem! The Bible says, Ye are of God, litt...

THE MEEKNESS OF SALVATION

Receiving salvation is so simple, and this is why some people misunderstand it. The Bible says if you confess with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus, and believe with your heart, that God has raised him from the dead, you are saved. The Scripture didn’t say that you confess all your sins; nor does it say, if you cry and ask God to save you, then you shall be saved. It is by declaration of words that man is saved, not by his tears or good works. The Bible tells us about a certain centurion by name Cornelius. He was a devout and generous man; he was a good man, but he was not saved. One day, an angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, “Send men to Joppa and call for Simon whose surname is Peter; who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and thy family shall be saved” (Acts 11:13-14). The angel didn’t say, Cornelius, your good deeds outweigh your bad deeds so salvation is yours”. In spite of all his good works and alms giving, it took words, which Peter had to speak to him, for him to...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL EXPRESS HIS LIFE AND NATURE EVERYWHERE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY 8TH FEBRUARY 2017

Glorious Greetings Saints of God! The Amplified version of our opening scripture says, “And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:23-24). As one who’s born again, you have a new life and a new nature; it’s the life and nature of God. You were recreated in righteousness and true holiness, to express the will and nature of the Father; the power has been deposited in your spirit. Your spirit was recreated in ...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TREASURES IN THE MIDST OF ADVERSITIES – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME TUESDAY 7TH FEBRUARY 2017

Awesome Greetings Saints of God! Download your complete e-copy of February Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John  Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries (1 Corinthians 16:8-9).  The Apostle Paul, in the scripture above acknowledged that a great and effectual window of opportunity was open to him for ministry in Ephesus. Howbeit, it was an opportunity in the midst of adversities. He was sensitive enough in his spirit not to see the opportunity alone; he saw the many adversaries as well. It’s like finding a treasure amongst thorns and thistles; and in a sense, that’s a trap. If you must take that treasure, you must then know what to do with the adversaries. The adversaries that Paul referred to weren’t just negligible enemies; they w...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MEMORIZING SCRIPTURES IS GOOD SPIRITUAL EXERCISE – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME MONDAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2017 .

Victorious Greetings Saints of God! Download your complete e-copy of February Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8). Some Christians can memorize and quote many scriptures off by heart, which is commendable. Whereas, some others erroneously assume that memorizing scriptures is no longer fashionable. With the introduction of different electronic Bibles and Bible software where scriptures can be located at the click or push of a button, many Christians have relegated the importance of memorizing scriptures in personal Bible study. This ought not to be so. Lear...
