We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death (1 John 3:14). The first manifestation of eternal life in you is the love of God. When you’re born again, the love of the Father is awakened in your spirit. There’re people who hate us Christians, not because we did anything wrong, but just because of Jesus. Such people aren’t born again; they haven’t passed from death to life. When you’re born again, you can’t hate anyone, because there’s love in your heart. It’s the fruit of your recreated human spirit. That’s why the Bible says, “…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Romans 5:5). Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You for rendering the devil powerless and giving me the victory and authority to keep him that way. This means, you have the right to tell your body how it should feel, and it’ll respond. If you've been struggling with an addiction, declare with boldness, “I’m not going to let anything dominate me. I keep my body in subjection to the Word of God!” Don’t permit in your body anything that’s not consistent with God’s provision of health, as shown to us in the Word; take

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:7-10). “The working of miracles” is one of the manifestations and gifts of the Spirit.
