STAND YOUR GROUND

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua 1:9). Irrespective of the challenges that may come your way in life, you must learn to stand your ground in faith. Never allow what you hear, or see with your physical eyes cause you to lose heart and start voicing fear; stand your ground and keep talking your way to victory. When the enemy seeks to put fear in your heart by bombarding your mind with negative thoughts, refuse to fear, counter those thoughts with words of faith! Do what Caleb and Joshua did; out of the twelve spies Moses sent to spy out Canaan, only the two of them stood their ground in faith. They said concerning the giants “they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not” (Numbers 14:9). That’s the voice of faith, and faith is what gives you the victory! (1 John 5:4) In Mark 9:23 Jesus said,

FAITH RESPONDS TO THE WORD!

“So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)” (James 2:17 AMP). Faith doesn’t ask “how?” “How do I get the money?” “How can I say I’m healed when I’m still in pain?” These are questions and responses borne out of unbelief. Faith responds only to the Word! Faith is doing what God tells you to do without asking Him how. So when He says, “You have everything you need for that project you’re working on”, your faith-response should be “Thank you Lord Jesus! I have everything I need.” The Scriptures show us examples of men and women who leapt on the truth of God’s Word and received their desired miracle. For example, Luke 7 details the story of the Roman centurion whose servant was at the point of death. When he heard that Jesus was on His way to heal his servant, he sent a message to the Master saying, “You don’t need to come here Lord! Just say the Word and my servant will be healed.” Th

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - FRI OCT 23RD 2015

Romans 8:26—28 says "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose". At 12 noon and 10 pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervidly in tongues for all 15 mins, with our hearts full of praise and adoration. As you pray, be attentive to the ministry of the Holy Spirit, for He'll bring you His word of love, joy and direction. God bless you.

Rhapsody of Realities Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Friday, October 23rd Topic: THE GLORY OF OUR KINGDOM

Hello, Good Morning This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory ; and his disciples believed on him (John 2:11). Glory is that which inspires, produces or causes  honor . If you give  honor , admiration, and respect to someone because of something that happened, that thing had glory, because it inspired you to  honor  that fellow. For example, when someone says, “That meeting was glorious,” what exactly made it glorious? It was glorious because we were inspired to  honor , reverence, praise, and worship the Lord; thus, revealing the glory of His Kingdom. Our opening verse tells us, “This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.” When the people saw what Jesus did—when he turned water to wine—they were amazed; they trusted,  honored , and revered Him. The Bible says His disciples believed on Him. Psalm 145:11-12 says, “They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom,

RECEIVE FORGIVENESS

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9) Jesus is the propitiation and appeasement for our sins. The Bible says in 1 John 2:1-2, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” The Blood of Jesus is the remedy for every sin; there’s no sin that can’t be cleansed by the blood of Jesus. So as a Christian, if you’ve done anything wrong, God’s not mad at you; what He expects is that you take advantage of the provision He’s made for the forgiveness of your sin. Forgiveness of sins is an aspect of our inheritance as God’s children, therefore be quick to take advantage of it. Christians have the right to receive forgiveness for sins, but this doesn’t apply to the unconverted, as what they n

BAPTISM IS AN ACT OF OBEDIENCE TO THE WORDS OF JESUS

The Bible says “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” That exactly tells us the significance of water baptism. When you are dipped into that water…baptism is an answer of a conscience to God. It’s a testimony of your faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When the Minister of God dips you into that water, you are likened unto His death and unto His burial; so he dips you in so you are buried with Him by baptism into death and then when he brings you out of the water, he says “…like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father…” so you now walk in newness of life; so water baptism is significant. In the New Testament, we are baptized unto Jesus Christ so this is very important [Romans 6:4]. Now remember,

FROM DEATH TO LIFE

When you believe in Jesus, the Bible says you have everlasting life–you've passed from death unto life. John 5:24 says “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Life referred to here is not the ordinary human life, but Zoe – the God-kind of life. So it means when you were born again, you were translated from spiritual death into Zoe–the life and nature of God. You were transferred from the dominion of darkness into God’s realm of life. This wasn't something that happened over a process of time, it was instantaneous–it happened the moment you gave your life to Christ. You were immediately translated from death to life, and awakened to the Fatherhood of God. 1 John 3:14 tells us the same thing: “We know that we have been passed from death unto life…” Notice it didn't say “…we are going to pass from death unto life when we get

JESUS IS THE FIRST BEGOTTEN FROM THE DEAD

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood” (Revelation 1:5). When John described Jesus as “the first begotten of the dead,” he wasn't just talking about physical death, but spiritual death. Unlike physical death, spiritual death isn't just the cessation of life; it’s a total separation from God: “…at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world” (Ephesians 2:12). This is spiritual death, and we all were once in this hopeless state, bound for hell until Jesus took our place. He went to hell on our behalf so we would never have to go there ourselves. And there’s more! Jesus went to hell for us, but He didn't remain there. On the third day, He was raised victoriously from the dead and we were

REVIVAL FROM WITHIN

“…stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands [a] with those of the elders at your ordination].” (2 Timothy 1:6 AMP) In Psalm 85:6 the psalmist cried out to the Lord: “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” Also he said in Psalm 138:7 “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me…” David, like other great prophets in the Old Testament, usually would look up to God to revive them in times of discouragement and despair. However, in the New Testament, we don’t pray or cry to God for revival; we are revived from within! Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” So it’s no use looking up to heaven for God to send down revival, for the Lord of revival  the Holy Spirit lives in the quarters of your heart. Jude 1:20 shows that when you speak in other tongues, you charge up,

BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD

Romans 12:2  And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - WED OCT 21ST 2015

David said in Psalm 71: 17, "O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I have continued to proclaim your wondrous deeds". At 12 noon (Local/GMT), we'll pray in tongues of the spirit for most of 15 mins, and for teenagers and children in our churches. Pray that their desires and attention be focused on the Lord and His Word, and that they'll grow up walking in the right path always, and in conformity with God's divine w ill and purpose for them. Pray that they'll be a light to their world, instruments of righteousness, expressions of God's love and grace; the Word of God being their continual delight and meditation. Pray that they be delivered from wicked and unreasonable men, and declare that they're protected from all evil continually, fulfilling their purpose to the glory of God. At 10pm, we'll pray fervidly in tongues for all 15mins, magnifying the Lord in praise and thanksgiving. God bless you.

CHRIST IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30) Christ Jesus has been made unto us righteousness. In other words, when God looks at us who believe in Jesus, He sees us as righteous, not because of the flawlessness of our deeds, but because Jesus has become our righteousness. Romans 4:25 lets us know that Jesus was “delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” He was delivered to death for your offences; on account of your sins, and was raised for your justification. Jesus bore all the pain, shame, and torture on your account (Read Isaiah 53:5-7). He took upon Himself all that you were supposed to suffer so you won’t have to go through them anymore. The Bible says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). This is the doctrine of substitution – Jesus took your pla

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) - MON OCT 19th 2015

In Matthew 26:41, Jesus said "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak". Philippians 4:6 tells us "Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God".   At 12 noon (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in the spirit, meditating on these scriptures. Bring before the Lord the cares, concerns, or challenges that you may be facing, making definite requests to Him; and His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus; the Lord stirring your heart in the direction of His perfect will. Amen. At 10 pm, we'll pray for ministers of the gospel around the world, that they be strengthened and energized by God's Spirit in their inner man. Pray that the Word of the Lord will continue to increase through them, and that they be divinely protecte
