A GOOD LIFE OF BLESSINGS

For we are God’s [own]handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew]that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live] (Ephesians 2:10 AMP) God is good, God is kind, and God is love! God is a great Father who, long before we came on the scene, prepared a wonderful and exciting life for us His kids. He prepared a life of success, victory, peace, and prosperity, so that when we showed up, we would live triumphantly. God didn’t create you to suffer or struggle your way through life. He prearranged a good life of blessings for you. So today, He wants you to step into what He already ordained for you! That’s like what He did when He created Adam; He first created a beautiful garden where everything Adam would ever require was made available. Then He created Adam and put him in the ga

LIFE THROUGH HIS BLOOD

“For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins“(Matthew 26:28) The word “remission” in the opening verse doesn’t merely refer to the forgiveness of sins; it means the removal of sins. The blood of Jesus is the propitiation for sins; therefore, those that believe in Jesus should no longer be held accountable for their sins! That’s why the Bible says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). He has taken full responsibility for your wrongs. During the last supper, Jesus drank out of the cup, gave it to His disciples, and said, “Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament…” (Matthew 26:27-28). As they drank from the cup, which represented His blood, they were actually partaking of His life. Leviticus 17:11 says, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood…” When Jesus bled on the cross, He actually poured out His life. Now, everyone who believes in Him has a

PARTAKERS OF A GLORIOUS INHERITANCE

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:12). Did you notice that this verse of scripture didn’t say “God will make us,” or “is going to make us partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light?”  Rather, it says He “hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” That means He’s already done it; we’ve been made partakers of a glorious inheritance—the inheritance of the saints in light. God the Father did this for us, in spite of ourselves. We couldn’t qualify for it on our own; He “made us meet,” that means qualified us to be partakers—sharers or joint-heirs of the inheritance. Your good works or your own righteousness couldn’t qualify you for the blessing. But God in His infinite mercy and kindness qualified you for the good life. How exciting to realize that you don’t have to try to be good enough for God. There’s no need to strive and work to merit His blessi

A CHRISTMAS TEACHING WITH PASTOR CHRIS

JESUS CHRIST, THE GLORY OF THE FATHER  —  A CHRISTMAS TEACHING WITH PASTOR CHRIS "[Jesus] is the perfect personification of the abstract idealism of God," Pastor Chris explains. Discussing the subject, 'Who is Jesus?', Pastor Chris settled for a few moments on the reason for our adoration and love for the Lord Jesus, which is simply because He is "the perfect imprint, the icon of the unseen God"! Without Jesus, God is only an idea that does not make sense to the human mind, the man of God taught the congregation at the Christmas Eve Service. "He [Jesus] is the perfect personification of the abstract idealism of God," Pastor says in the featured excerpt from that service. Pastor Chris introduced the third point on who Jesus is, stating 'Jesus Christ, the Glory of the Father', because the Master is the outshining, the express image of the Father's glory. CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK!

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2). You’re the character of your thoughts. Proverbs 23:7 says, “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” In other words, you’re not different from the way you think. Through months and years of continuously thinking in a certain way, your mind becomes programmed in that direction, and that’s the direction your life will go. This explains the reason many have their lives messed up; nothing seems to be working. If you have been negatively programmed as a result of thinking wrongly, all you need is to change your way of thinking; renew your mind with the Word. Our opening scripture, in the New Living Translation says, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think….” The Word of God can reprogram your life and give you a new mindse

DON'T DESPAIR! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest (Ezekiel 37:3).  As you grow spiritually, there could be times of difficulties, when you face serious challenges. But at such times, don't despair. Don't loathe yourself or gripe that you're going through such tough times. Even when everyone seems to be ignoring you and none is offering to help, in spite of all your appeals, refuse to be discouraged. The truth is, you're not being ignored. What's happening is that the Lord is training and teaching you to stand up, and stand strong! He's challenging and setting you up for your next level of glory. It doesn't matter how dire the challenge you're confronted with might seem; don't run from pillar to post, seeking help from man; rather talk your way out of it. This was what the Lord told Ezekiel to do in the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel 37:3-4). Ezekiel found himself in a valley full of dry bones and the

YOU’RE INDESTRUCTIBLE

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23) You were born of God’s incorruptible seed when you received salvation. In Luke 8:11, Jesus said the Word of God is a seed. This means that when you are born again, you’re born of God’s seed – His Word. This is makes you indestructible. The life in you is sickness, disease and death resistant. You have the very life of God, and that makes you supernatural. The same life that makes God who He is now flows in your spirit, soul and body. Your life is no longer dependent on the blood that flows through your physical body. Back in the Old Testament, God told the children of Israel that the blood of man is the life of his flesh (Leviticus 17:11). But when you become a child of God by being born again, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17); your blood ceases to be what sustains your life. You’re born of God and you have the life of God in you, whi
