Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you (John 16:23).  Some Christians pray, and at the end of the prayer, they say, “through Jesus Christ our Lord.” It’s not scripturally correct to pray “through” Jesus Christ; we were never told to pray like that.
