 You’re to see to it that you walk in the path that  He’s  prepared for you. Colossians 4:17 says, “… Take  heed to the  ministry which thou hast  received in  the Lord, that thou fulfill  it.” That just  about says  it all:  it’s not the Lord’s  responsibility,  but yours,  to fulfill His calling and destiny for  your life.

1 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” The opening scripture is quite instructive as to what a Christian must do in trying moments, when faced with unpleasant experiences and pains. The Apostle Paul, in those verses, acknowledges the tribulations he encountered and the ensuing comfort he received from the Lord. He added that the comfort he received was to the intent that he might be able to comfort others who are in any trouble, by the same comfort with which he was comforted by God. Irrespective of the challenges that may come your way in life, you must learn to stand your ground in faith. Never allow what you hear, or see with your physical eyes cause you to lose heart and start voicing fear; stand your ground and keep talking your way to victory. When the enemy seeks to put fear in your heart by bombarding your mind with negative thoughts, refuse to fear, counter those thoughts with words of faith! Do what Caleb and Joshua did; out of the twelve spies Moses sent to spy out Canaan, only the two of them stood their ground in faith. They said concerning the giants “ they are bread for us: their defense is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not ” (Numbers 14:9). Some are too discouraged to have hope for a bright future because they were born into a poor family, city or country. They assume all is lost for them, but that’s not true! When you’re in Christ, it makes no difference what the social or financial status of your earthly parents is, or the economic situation in the country. It doesn’t count anymore. There’s no rule or law anywhere, which states that a person who was born in a palace will do better than the one born in the countryside.
