READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FAITH—THE EFFECT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SATURDAY 25TH FEBRUARY 2017 .

Copious Greetings Dearly Beloved of God! Download your complete e-copy of February Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you …and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. (Isaiah 32:17). Our opening verse reminds of the true definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1 which says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith is the quiet, confident assurance of what we hope for and the reality of things yet unseen. That’s the reason Jesus said, “…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20). The effect of righteousness is faith; mountain-moving faith; with which you affirm that all things are possible unto you, living without fe...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2017 .

Prosperous Greetings Dearly Beloved of God! Download your complete e-copy of February Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you And the work of righteousness shall be peace… (Isaiah 32:17). In the days of Moses, truth and judgment came together; and if truth bore testimony against you, you were judged on the spot. But it’s not so with the Gospel. The Bible says, “Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven” (Psalms 85:10-11). In the Gospel, mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Greek word from where “justified” is translated is “Dikaioo” and it mean...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. HE’S COUNTING ON YOU – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH 2016

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16). As Christians, we’ve received the mandate to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth; it’s a most sublime and high calling. It’s something you’re to do with all boldness, faith, courage, and conviction. You must never be ashamed or apologetic about Christ and the message of the Gospel. Don’t be ashamed of who you are in Him, and don’t let others make you ashamed of what you believe. Paul said, “…I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…” (Romans 1:16). It’s only the Gospel that can catapult the sinner to salvation and righteousness. It’s only through the preaching of the Gospel that the righteousness of God can be unveiled and embraced. So, there’re no options to the Gospel. Its power and efficacy are incontrovertible; it’s the only message ...

FREE FROM ACCUSATION! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight (Colossians 1:21-22). Jesus saved us, and our opening text shows us what He’s made us. He’s reconciled you in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in God’s sight. This isn’t something God is trying to do, or going to do; He’s already done it through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So, this isn’t a promise; it’s a statement of fact. You’ve been reconciled with the Father, and the latter part of the opening scripture clearly reveals to us the reason for the reconciliation: to present you holy, blameless and above reproach in God’s sight. It doesn’t matter what anybody thinks about you! God says you’re holy, faultless and irreproachable. This is who you are to Him. This is how He’s presented you to Himself in...

SET A TIME FOR YOUR MIRACLE!

Taking the story of Hannah in the Old Testament as a case study, she had been married to Elkanah for several years without a child, and must have been hoping this would change someday, but it didn’t. One day, she got tired of the situation and made up her mind for a miracle. She said to herself, “It’s today or never!” Then she went into the house of the Lord and fell on her face before God, bringing forth her case. While she was there, Eli the high priest observed her lips moving but didn’t hear any words coming out of her mouth, so he thought she was drunk and rebuked her, saying, “Woman, are you not tired of your drunkenness?” (1 Samuel 1:13-14). “Sir, I’m not drunk; I’m just pouring out my heart before the Lord,” she replied (1 Samuel 1:15).We’ve always thought all Hannah did was make a vow to God, but she did more; she argued her case before God. She petitioned God and gave Him strong reasons why she must have a child. Then the high priest answered and said to her, “Go in pea...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. MANIFESTING THE WILL AND NATURE OF GOD BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH 2016.

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24). The verse above is rendered beautifully in the Amplified version. It says, and put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in Gods image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness. The phrase, which after God means in the likeness of God. You’re created to be like God in righteousness and true holiness. And what is righteousness? It’s the expression of the will and nature of the Father. Therefore, when the Bible says to put on the new nature, which is created in righteousness, it means that you should walk in the light of who you are: give expression to the will and nature of the Father! The power to please Him always, everywhere, and in all things bearing testimony to His character, and nature by your life, actions, and words is in your spirit. You’re called to manifest and administer the will, purpose, and character of God. This is true righteousness. ...

YOU HAVE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH 2016.

For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). John 1:17 says, "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." Jesus Christ didn't come with the law; He came with grace, and brought us righteousness as a gift. Righteousness is the expression of the will and nature of the Father. He declared us righteous, because we're new creations in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." Romans 4:25 lets us know that He (Jesus) "...was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification." Thus, He's our acquitter. When you heard the Gospel and believed, declaring Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life, you became the recipient of His grace and righteousness. Yo...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. LIVE OUT HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. FRIDAY,DECEMBER 11,2015.

…Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness…(Hebrews 1:8-9). As a child of God, one thing you must do in your life is to sanctify yourself. You may be endowed with gifts, and great potentials, but you can’t run your gifts together with bad behaviour. And that’s one of the reasons some people can’t experience real spiritual growth. If you want the anointing that promotes, lifts, and consistently keeps you at the top, and makes you untouchable, then you must love righteousness and hate iniquity. You can’t live in both. There has to be a consistency between the Gospel you believe and preach, and your life as a Christian. Where the consistency stops, is where your “blessings” stop. Then you find that things aren’t really working out in your life. Even when things seem to be working for you, somehow, you’...

RECEIVE FORGIVENESS

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9) Jesus is the propitiation and appeasement for our sins. The Bible says in 1 John 2:1-2, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” The Blood of Jesus is the remedy for every sin; there’s no sin that can’t be cleansed by the blood of Jesus. So as a Christian, if you’ve done anything wrong, God’s not mad at you; what He expects is that you take advantage of the provision He’s made for the forgiveness of your sin. Forgiveness of sins is an aspect of our inheritance as God’s children, therefore be quick to take advantage of it. Christians have the right to receive forgiveness for sins, but this doesn’t apply to the unconverted, as what th...

CHRIST IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30) Christ Jesus has been made unto us righteousness. In other words, when God looks at us who believe in Jesus, He sees us as righteous, not because of the flawlessness of our deeds, but because Jesus has become our righteousness. Romans 4:25 lets us know that Jesus was “delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” He was delivered to death for your offences; on account of your sins, and was raised for your justification. Jesus bore all the pain, shame, and torture on your account (Read Isaiah 53:5-7). He took upon Himself all that you were supposed to suffer so you won’t have to go through them anymore. The Bible says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). This is the doctrine of substitution – Jesus took your...

I TESTIFY!

That I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; I’m dead to this world but alive to God. My members are yielded to God as instruments of righteousness; therefore, sin or sickness has no dominion over my body. Hallelujah!
