The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 5:16 that the days are evil: “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” It’s like saying the influence of each day in the world is satanic, but God expects us to master each day and walk in the dominion of the Spirit. Now, that’s a generic statement. On the other hand, I’ll like you to notice the specificity in the admonition in our opening verse. It refers to “the evil day.” This is different.
