YOU ARE A BLESSING

God is a “blessing-God”; He always loves to bless people. The Bible says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).  In other words, He’s constantly looking around for someone to do something good for, someone to bless. But to do this, He won’t come down from heaven; He needs someone in the earth to bless another person. That’s why He trains us by teaching us to give, to be caring and concerned about the needs of others. Realize that you’re God’s point of contact to your world; you’re His contact-point of blessings! You’re not the one trying to get blessed, for you’ve already been lavishly blessed; now you’re a blessing (Genesis 12:2). When God is looking for whom to bless, He wants to use you, because your life is overflowing with blessings. Abraham was a blessed man; he was prosperous in all things, for God had blessed him abundantly. Just by ass...

SEPARATED UNTO BLESSINGS

Over the years, Christians have been erroneously taught that many of their problems are connected to generational, family, or ancestral curses. But that’s not true! In as much as these curses exist and can influence one who isn’t born again, they ought not to affect a Christian. Some Christians have nevertheless found themselves victims of so-called ancestral or generational curses because they lack knowledge of their new identity in Christ. The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Having been born again by the Word and Spirit of God, you’re not the same person that was born of your parents. Therefore, no matter the curses that may have been invoked on you, or that you may have inherited from your forbears, they’re of no effect, because you’re now a new creation in Christ! Thus, you’ve been separated into a new family – God’s family – where you’re blessed forever: “...

THE EFFECT OF THE BLESSING

When God blesses a man there’s really no word to describe it. I’ll call it the supernatural elixir. Everything you do just turns out right; everything you touch turns to success. When that blessing is on you, favor will come to you and you can’t help but succeed in everything you do. This starts up in your life when God visits you. Now you can understand something of the force field we talked about earlier. Everybody desires to be successful in whatever they do; and this is perhaps why some people look for charms to help them. Some go to the extent of traveling to other countries to get these charms. Everybody wants that supernatural ‘thing’ that can open up doors everywhere. When the anointing settles on you, as the dew of hermon, its effects are beyond human description. Everything you touch starts prospering as that anointing keeps working. When God gives the word for your blessing, it settles on you like dew, and prospers you in every way. This comes from the Presence of the L...

HE COMMANDS HIS BLESSINGS

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.” (Psalm 133:1-3) When you take a closer look at verse 3, you would notice David was talking about the anointing of the Holy Ghost. David referred to the anointing ‘as the dew of Hermon’. Mount Zion and Mount Hermon, according to the Bible, are one and the same. “And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were on this side Jordan toward the sun rising; From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon,” (Deuteronomy 4:47-48) When I studied more about mount Hermon, I discovered that it always had dew on it; morning, noon and...

SYMBOLIZE GOD’S BLESSING

God has called and chosen you for a purpose, and that is to show forth through you His manifold wisdom and demonstrate His excellence to your world. It’s His purpose and desire to prove His extraordinary greatness in your life. He told the children of Israel, “You’ll be the head and not the tail; you’ll be above and not beneath” (Deuteronomy 28:13). Now, being the head doesn’t necessarily mean becoming the managing director of an organization. Look at Joseph; he went into Potiphar’s house as a slave, but the Bible says he was a prosperous man. When Potiphar recognized that the Lord was with Joseph and that all he did prospered, he put him in charge of his entire household and everything he had, and God blessed him for Joseph’s sake (Genesis 39:1-5). It was the same story with Jacob. At the time he worked for Laban, his uncle, Laban acknowledged and said: “…I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake” (Genesis 30:27). Laban noticed that the reason his b...

It never works by itself. God gave us His Word to live by. That means you can believe the Word; y...
