READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. SEE WITH HIS LIGHT – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SUNDAY, 4TH SEPTEMBER 2016.

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13). Our opening text states your present position in the presence of God. You’re located there now. You’ve been translated from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. That’s where you live, and that’s the perspective from which you should see everything in life. You’re not weak or poor. You’re loaded and sufficient in all things; you have everything you’ll ever require for life and godliness. You’re a success and you’re moving from glory to glory. See the glory of God on your life, and refuse to see things from another perspective. The Bible says, “Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God” (Psalm 87:3). Live in the reality of who you are in Christ. God’s Word is light; use His light to see the glorious things that He’s spoken concerning you. When an X-ray is turned on you, it has no consideration for whatever is placed under it;

PRAYER FOR YOU

Dear Father, I thank you for anointing me with the Holy Ghost and with power! Thank You for filling me with Your Spirit without measure, thus enabling me with miracle-working ability. I go forth each day as an effective witness of Christ; healing the sick, cleansing the lepers, raising the dead, through the power of God's Spirit that works in me mightily, in Jesus name. Amen..

THE EARNEST PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS

The Apostle Paul, in 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2, asked the saints to pray for him and other ministers with him, that they may be delivered from wicked and unreasonable men who were against the faith and the preaching of the Gospel. He wanted the Word of God to grow mightily and prevail among the gentiles. When decrees or laws are enacted, which are against the preaching of the Gospel, we must become aware that such things are done by wicked and unreasonable men who have found their way into power for their selfish gains. But God expects us to stop them through prayer. And we are given the assurance that we have His attention when we pray against such things. There is so much power in the Church, but we can’t discover the extent and potency of the power we possess with our mouths shut. For the power to be effective, we need to pray and declare what we want to see in our countries; we have the divine authority to cause a change through prayers. All that’s necessary is for one righteous m

STAND YOUR GROUND

“ Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest ” (Joshua 1:9). Irrespective of the challenges that may come your way in life, you must learn to stand your ground in faith. Never allow what you hear, or see with your physical eyes cause you to lose heart and start voicing fear; stand your ground and keep talking your way to victory. When the enemy seeks to put fear in your heart by bombarding your mind with negative thoughts, refuse to fear, counter those thoughts with words of faith! Do what Caleb and Joshua did; out of the twelve spies Moses sent to spy out Canaan, only the two of them stood their ground in faith. They said concerning the giants “ they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not ” (Numbers 14:9). That’s the voice of faith, and faith is what gives you the victory! (1 John 5:4) In Mark 9:23 Jesus said,

DON’T THROW AWAY YOUR DESIRES

God uses your strong desires to bring your dreams to pass. Write down your visions as God directed in Habakkuk 2:2.  He says,  “…write down the vision,   and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”  Some people give up too soon. Even when it comes to spiritual matters, they lose their confidence in the Word too easily. You can give up on physical things but don’t ever give up on praying, studying and doing the Word of God. You must remind God of His promises because not one word of all His promises has ever failed. He is a faithful Father. The Word of God says,  “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from   heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the   earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it   may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:   “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my   mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall   accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper   in the things whereto I sent it.”

STAND FIRM

 “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong”  (1 Corinthians 16:13) Some people are unfruitful in the faith-walk because they are burdened by the cares and desires of this life, and these choke God’s Word in their hearts  (Mark 4:18-19) . The first thing you must do to stand firm in the faith is to set your heart on the Lord; give Him your undivided attention. Proverbs 23:26 says,  “ My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways .” This is akin to what the Word says in Proverbs 4:20:  “ My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings .”  Remember, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God  (Romans 10:17) .   For your faith to grow and prevail, you have to attend to God’s Word and incline your ears to His sayings. This means you focus and give prime attention to the Word in your life. The necessary result of this is that your thoughts, words and actions will be in sync with the Word. That way, you’re unshakeable.

PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS

When we look through the scriptures, there is no place where the Christian is asked to pray to Jesus or through Jesus. What the Bible teaches is that we pray in the Name of Jesus which is the right way to pray. There are folks who when they pray, would say, “Lord Jesus, I ask that you grant me such and such in Jesus name.” That is wrong; you don’t pray to Jesus in the Name of Jesus, neither do you pray to the Father through the Name of Jesus. You pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus according to John 16:23 which says, “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my Name, He will give it to you.” You may fellowship with Jesus and tell Him how much you love Him, and tell Him things that are in your heart, but you don’t pray to Him. As Christians, we don’t need an intermediary between us and the Father. To pray through Jesus is to make Him an intermediary between us and the Father, but to pray in the Name of Jesus means you are standing in the place of Jesus you have become His voice.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS WITH YOU FOREVER

“ And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever ” (John 14:16) Some Christians think the Holy Spirit sometimes goes on a break, or takes a recess just because at such times they don’t “feel” His presence. You don’t have to “feel” God to know that He’s with you. Rather, you ought to know that He’s with you always, because the Word says so. Jesus said, “… and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen ” (Matthew 28:20). Sadly, some have reduced their experience of Christianity to the carnal realm of feeling, and that’s wrong, for we walk by faith and not by sensory perceptions (2 Corinthians 5:7). That you did something wrong won’t make the Holy Spirit leave you. Remember, you weren’t made right with God because of your own righteousness, it came because God gave you His righteousness. Thus, His presence with you isn’t dependent on what you did right or wrong, or the way you feel; His presence is depend

GOD’S SPIRIT IS GOD’S ANSWER

Is your life full of trouble and you don’t know what to do? Then take what I’m about to share with you very seriously. The Holy Spirit is the answer to the nagging situation in your life! When the earth was a shapeless and chaotic mass, it was the Spirit of God, acting on the command of Almighty God that brought order into the universe. When persecution rose up against the early Church, they lifted their voices in one accord and prayed to the Lord. The content of their prayer in Acts 4:24-30 revealed that they wanted a sign from heaven. But what was God’s answer to their request?: “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness” (Acts4:31). God responded by filling them with the Holy Ghost! Reading further, you will discover that God didn’t come down to Jerusalem, stretching forth to heal the sick as they prayed. They were the ones that did all that afte

COURAGE THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT

Something wonderful happens when you receive the Holy Spirit; He makes you bold and courageous! If you look through the Bible, you’ll find this trend in the lives of all those who had an encounter with Him. Even if they were timid and unstable at the beginning, the moment the Holy Spirit came into their lives, they became bold and courageous! To be courageous means to be willing to undertake or seek out new and daring enterprises. It means to step out of your “comfort zone” and do the things the Lord wants you to do. After the Lord Jesus ascended to heaven, all the disciples were quietly assembled in an upper room in fear (Acts 1:13). But when the Holy Spirit came upon them, they threw the doors open. Peter, who had been calm and quiet, and out of fear denied Jesus before a young girl, preached boldly and led about 3000 souls to Christ in one meeting. From that point on, they became bold and adventurous with the gospel, healing the sick, casting out devils and shaking up the whole

THE HOLY SPIRIT CAUSES YOU TO PROSPER

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes… I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you (Ezekiel 36:27-29). True and lasting prosperity comes through the Holy Spirit. In the Scripture above, God says, “I will put My Spirit within you… and I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it….” In other words, He’s saying “I’ll get rid of the mess from your life, and then I will call for the corn;” which signifies prosperity. This means prosperity is a manifestation of the presence of Holy Spirit in your life! In the Church of Jesus Christ, there’s been a lot of preaching about prosperity. It’s been preached that “When you give, God will give back to you.” But you see, it doesn’t end there; that’s half-truth. Truth has to be all-truth. So many of God’s people give: they sow seeds and give their offering but it doesn’t

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18). God loves you and cares about you, regardless of the challenges and difficulties you may be facing right now. He always wants to see you win and live happy every day. Jesus said, “...In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Never allow anything get you frustrated; train your faith. Tell yourself, “Against hope, I believe in hope that all things are working together for my good” (Romans 8:28). The triumphant life is yours in Christ Jesus; refuse to settle for less. Things might not exactly be going as you’ve expected, but maintain your confession of the Word. Don’t accept defeat and don’t give in to sickness or anything that hurts. Don’t say, “I’ve been infected,” just because you noticed some symptoms in your body. Faith does

THE SPIRIT OF LORDSHIP.

I have often shared on the Seven Spirits of God according to Isaiah 11:2 “and the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” I want to share with you on ‘the Spirit of the Lord.’ The Spirit of the Lord is often interpreted as the Spirit of Lordship. He gives you boldness and the sense of dominion in whatever situation you may find yourself; He puts you in charge of every situation. Have you ever wondered why Pharaoh couldn’t order the death of Moses when he stood before him to demand the release of the children of Israel from slavery? He couldn’t because Moses spoke with the Spirit of Lordship, the Spirit of dominion. God said to Joshua, “there shall not be any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Joshua 1:5). Consequently, he became one of the greatest ge

PREVAILING FAITH!

  “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17) A striking thought to observe in our opening verse is that it tells us how faith comes; it’s by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Notice it didn’t say “faith cometh by having heard the Word”; but by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” The emphasis is on “hearing,” that is, the continued bombardment of your spirit with the Word of God. That’s what produces prevailing faith, the faith that always works. Faith always works! If it didn’t work, it wasn’t faith. For your faith to prevail all the time, you need to feed on the Word. You need to keep bombarding your spirit with the Word until it literally oozes out of your entire being! That’s how to grow prevailing faith; you have to get the Word into your system so much that you can only think, talk and live the Word! CONFESSION FOR YOU My faith is alive and strong, prevailing over circumstances. I refuse to stagger at the Word of God

THE HOLY SPIRIT: OUR PARTNER

“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his son our lord Jesus Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:9). We have been called into companionship, a partnership and participation with our Lord Jesus by the Holy Spirit. I once a heard a story of Dr. Yongi Cho. He was a missionary in a little town that was wholly given to the worship of a guardian god. The Priest of the god resisted his work in their town but later told him that if his God would heal a woman who was known throughout the village to be very sick, they would leave him to continue preaching and believe in his message. When he went to minister to this woman, she resisted God’s Word and said she would rather die than accept Jesus. Even when he called some brethren to clean up the woman’s house and make food for her she was still uncooperative. So Dr. Cho and his team turned to their senior partner and prayed to God fervently. Then one night, he had a vision that he fought and destroyed the guardian god, who came

Welcome to the Month of September Saints…...is still our year of Spreading……. Glory to God! READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. THINK DIFFERENTLY – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND 2016

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward (Hebrews 10:35). It’s the ninth month of the year 2016—our “Year of Spreading.” Perhaps, you might have been troubled and saying in your heart, “Lord, I still have goals and things I want to do. I want to receive more money for this, and for that; now the year is almost coming to an end.” Don’t think that way with God. Stay in eternity. Live in eternity. Think differently. Don’t “push” God like natural men do. Live with Him in His realm of life. Don’t get under the pressure. When you get under pressure because of what you want to accomplish within a certain time, you become a slave to time. Don’t let that happen to you. Time should be a slave to you. Psalm 37:4-5 says, “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Nothing is too difficult for, or impossible with, the Lord; He’s the great

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19) Paul understood the message of the new creation; notice that he didn’t say, “My God shall supply all our need….” He knew that the new creation isn’t in lack or want; the new creation doesn’t need to be “supplied”; he’s the supplier! Romans 8:17 says we’re heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. Paul, with this understanding, said to the spiritually immature, “But my God shall supply all your need….” When you’ve come of age, you’ll realize that in Christ, we don’t have any unmet needs. Matthew 6:33 says, “…seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” When you seek the Kingdom of God first, every good thing you could ever wish for would be added to your life, without you having to ask. You won’t need to try to be happy, fulfilled or triumphant in life; you won’t need to pursue the things that the Gentiles seek: fame

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee (Isaiah 43:2). When you study God’s Word, the economic problems and upheavals in the world today wouldn’t be a surprise to you. The socio-economic conditions in our world today must not dictate the circumstances of our existence. They must not control our faith in the Word of God. The Bible says those who know their God shall be strong and shall do exploits (Daniel 11:32). As a child of God, the troubles in the world are not set against you. Your prosperity is independent of inflation, economic meltdowns and downturns. You’re not of this world. You’re the seed of Abraham. Refuse to fret or be anxious, for if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small (Proverbs 24:10). The Lord is your strength. Remain strong in Him and in the power of His might. Prayer at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT) - Wed Aug 31st 2016

It's been a wonderful month of intercession; praying for the good of others. The Word declares: "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints" (Ephesians 6.18). Before we draw the curtain on the month of August, for 15mins at 12noon and 10pm, we'll thank the Lord profusely for His love, grace and kindness; for His answers to our prayers and the abundant ministry of the spirit during the month of intercession. Let us claim, accept and confess His perfect guidance for the new month of September, declaring that times and seasons are for our benefit; and that all things work together for good to us who love God, who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8.28). Amen. God bless you.

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. BEWARE OF EVIL COMMUNICATION – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. TUESDAY, AUGUST 30TH 2016.

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners (1 Corinthians 15:33). Through the Word of God we’re trained and cultured with good manners and godly behavior, but some people can corrupt your good character through their unwholesome and perverse communication. Evil communication corrupts good manners. Any communication that negates, rejects or challenges the authority of God’s Word is an evil communication. Therefore, beware of such. The Bible says, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed” (Proverbs 13:20). Psalm 1:1 says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” The wrong company can influence you to do the wrong things. For instance, the Bible says, “Show respect to the aged; honor the presence of an elder…” (Leviticus 19:32 MSG). Ephesians 6:2 says, “Honor your father and mother.” Imagine that you have a friend

PRAYER AT 12NOON AND 10PM (LOCAL/GMT) - MON AUG 29TH 2016

We had a glorious time yesterday at the Healing School, where we witnessed faith in action by students from many countries, as they received divine healing from the Lord. It was yet another wonderful experience of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, doing the works of Christ and demonstrating that Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever. Learn more in today's Rhapsody or download from http:// rhapsodyofrealities.org For 15mins at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray mostly in tongues and also pray specially for family members and fellow Christians who are facing challenges with their health; sick and afflicted with some disease, pain or infirmity. Pray that the grace and healing virtues of Christ be manifested in them through the Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 4

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live (Romans 8:13). As a child of God, you’re an ambassador of Christ. That’s how He sees you. You’re His representative. That’s why it’s important that your behavior conforms to the Word. Be ruled by the Word. Don’t live according to your flesh. Don’t be controlled by your emotions. Give no place to carnality in your life. Be spiritually minded. Spend time on the Word and yield yourself to the Holy Spirit to work through you. Remember, He sees your heart; if you’re hungry for Him; if you’re zealous and passionate for Him and the spread of the Gospel, He’ll see to it that you’re a success in life. So, you’ve got to align yourself with His thoughts. Let nothing stop you from living a life that’s pleasing to the Lord. Let your life be to the praise and glory of the One who called you. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14) Jesus is the revelation of God’s Word and the character of His thoughts, opinions, imaginations and entire being. He was the Word of God in flesh and a master of words. The Bible tells us how the temple guards who were sent to arrest Him, stopped to listen to Him, and upon hearing His words, went back without arresting Him. When the chief priests and Pharisees asked why they returned without Him, the officers replied, “...No man ever spoke like this Man!” (John 7:46 NKJV). His words brought healing to the sick, restored sight to the blind, unstopped deaf ears, gave the lame new legs to walk, and raised the dead. His words were different. The Bible says He cast out demons with His words (Matthew 8:16). He ruled and reigned with words. He showed us the power of words; their value and how to use them. Don’t just talk;
