PRAISE LEADS TO VICTORY

In 2 Chronicles 20, we read the inspiring account of how the children of Judah were surrounded and outnumbered by three enemy nations. Then the King of Judah, Jehoshaphat, proclaimed a fast throughout the land, and while they prayed and fasted, the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the Levite and he spoke forth the mind of God: “And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” (2 Chronicles 20:15) With those words of prophecy burning in his spirit, King Jehoshaphat consulted with the people and appointed singers unto the Lord, to march ahead of the troops, singing, “…Praise the Lord; for His mercy endureth for ever” (2 Chronicles 20:21). As they sang and praised God, the power of God was activated, and their enemies were discomfited! Their praise led them to victory! The fervency and vibrancy of their p

SERVICE PRECEDES GREATNESS

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will (Acts 13:22). When God anoints a man, that anointing will only work in its fullness and position that man to fulfill His destiny in God after he has proven himself in service. The anointing doesn't work just because you want it to work; there’s a time of service; a time when your obedience is tested and proven. If God hasn't proved your obedience, He’ll not command others to obey you. So before He launches you out into greatness; into the destiny of His working for your life, you must first have learnt to serve. We find this to be true in the lives of some of the great personalities of the Bible. Take David for an example; his story compels close attention because of the uncommon grace he found with God. God described him as a man after His own heart (Acts 13:22).

POSITIONED FOR GLORY

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3-4). God has positioned you for a life of glory, and to live that transcendent glory-life He has called and positioned you for, your outlook on life must be from the perspective of His Word. You must live in the light of His Word and cease to observe situations like an ordinary man. God has already done all that’s necessary for you to experience His glory here in the earth. But sadly, many Christians still make the mistake of waiting for Him to do something about their situation. Some even say they’re waiting for Him to take them to the Promised Land – that good and prosperous place, flowing with milk and honey. What such folks haven’t realized is that in the mind of God they’re already in the Promised Land! They got there the moment they were born again. In other words, they are already positione

GOD IS NOT MYSTERIOUS

Some people do not understand when we talk of knowing the will of God. They say, “Well, I hope if it is the will of God I will get the job”. They always think that God’s will is against them. Some people do not like to say what they want to do because they feel God may just not like it. But if you ask them what God likes, they will still be unable to say what it is. They have turned God into a mysterious being. Someone said, “God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform”. God is not mysterious. To be mysterious means to be a strange “dude” that cannot be understood and that is not what God is. He showed us His will by giving us His word: He’s told us what He did, what He is doing and what He is going to do, so we can understand him. He is neither strange nor mysterious. Yes, there was a mystery, but Jesus came to solve the mystery. Colossians 1:22-27 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue

LIVE A LIFE OF GRACE

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17) The word receive in the verse above is translated from the Greek word, “lambano,” which means to “take” or “catch” something as yours; to get hold of something; to seize it and make it yours. Abundance of grace, on the other hand, means overflowing grace; unlimited overflowing grace. This means it’s up to you to take as much grace as you want. This is what the Apostle Paul meant when he told Timothy “…Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1). That means take advantage of the grace. Don’t take a little of it; ‘lambano’ as much as you require. Receive grace for your reign in life. To reign is to exercise control, influence and authority. It means to rule and be in charge; in essence, live as a king. This overflowing grace only works for those who receive it. It’s your s

HOW TO TAP INTO YOUR SUPERNATURAL SOURCE

Every creature of God must remain connected to and nourished by its source for it to remain alive and well. In the book of Genesis, God said, “… Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life” (Genesis 1:20) He spoke to the water to produce fish and other aquatic creatures. That’s why the fish in the sea have to remain in the water to survive, because that’s their source. If you were to take a fish out of your aquarium and place it on a beautifully ornamented table, it would die, as it’s cut off from its source. In the same way, God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so” (Genesis 1:24). So, all the animals that live on land actually came from the earth and that’s why they must remain on land in order to stay alive. No land animal can successfully live in the water permanently because the land is its source. Man is a spirit and his spirit came f

HOW TO GROW IN GRACE

The word “grace” is from the Greek “charis” and it refers to the divine influence in a human heart, which reflects on his outside, producing favor, beauty, goodwill, loveliness and ability. In other words, when “grace” is working in your life, there’s just something about you that causes favor and glory to abound in your life. For example, when the Lord Jesus was a child, the Bible says he grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him” (Luke 2:40). It made Him, even as a child, to have favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). In the Book of Acts, Barnabas went to visit certain brethren and “Ć¢€¦when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all” (Acts 11:23). What was it that Barnabas saw? It wasn’t a light beaming out of their heads. He saw the beauty of God; he saw that things were working out excellently in the lives of these brethren.” Grace is the power of promotion; it is the thing that causes your life to move

YOUR SET TIME TO DO GREAT THINGS

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2).   From the scripture above, we notice that it was God who spoke to Abraham and said, “I will make you great”; it wasn't Abraham who cried out, “O Lord, make me great!” It was God’s choice to make him great, and from that point on, the man did great things. He defeated five kings and their armies with three hundred servants trained in his house (Genesis 14). His wealth and influence outweighed those of the nations where he dwelt. He was a force to be reckoned with by kings of nations around him because of how great he was.  The Bible says  “…if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29) . If you’re born again, you’re the seed of Abraham; the seed of greatness is in your spirit. Therefore you ought to do great things. Great people do great things. When the seed of greatness is in a man, he’l

A LIFE OF PLEASANTNESS

“The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psalms 16:6) In the Book of Genesis, the Bible says God placed man in a garden that He made: The Garden of Eden. Eden means pleasure. Can you imagine that God put His first man in the garden of pleasure? From the very beginning, God determined that our lives should be full of pleasure. Psalms 5:12 (AMP) says, “For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).’’ David understood this when he said, “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psalms 16:6). The Contemporary English Version puts it this way, “You make my life pleasant, and my future is bright.” What a confession! In the eleventh verse, he said, “…in thy presence is fullness of joy: at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore” (Psalms 16:11). We were born right in

DREAM BIG!

“For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.” (Isaiah 54:3) It’s time for you to dream big. It’s a decision you must make. Have big dreams for your finances, family, job or business. Romans 4:17 says God calls things, which be not as though they were. That’s the past tense of God’s Word. That’s God’s language and it should become your language too. Dream big, start calling things that be not as though they were. Your dreams have to be big enough for God to get involved in them. Say to yourself right now, “My God is big, and He is with me. Therefore, it’s impossible for me to fail. I can do all things through Christ!” Hallelujah! That’s my mentality; every time the devil tries to tell me, “You can’t do this, you can’t have that, you can’t be this, you can’t go there…” I tell him, “Devil, you came 2000 years late. Now I can! I can do all things through Christ which strengthens

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) - FRI OCT 9TH 2015

2 Corinthians 6:1 - 10 says: "As God's co- workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. 2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you."I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.3 We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. 4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; 5 in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; 6 in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; 7 in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; 8 through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; 9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; 10 sorrowful, yet

BLAZE THROUGH THE BARRIERS

Someone once asked me if it was possible for Satan to place a hindrance on the path of someone who’s born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. Emphatically yes, but that doesn't mean anything! As a matter of fact, the easiest challenge to handle as a Christian is that which is masterminded by Satan. Understand that the more effective you are for the Lord and in your faith-walk, the more Satan seeks to stir adversities against you. you can easily blaze through every opposition; not only are you protected from the assault of the enemy, you have the power to cast him out. it makes no difference the hindrances or obstacles Satan tries to place on your path, you’re to blaze through them and walk on in victory. As long as you know the power you wield in the spirit and use it boldly, giving no place to fear, you’ll always be victorious in life and nothing can hinder you

YOUR TONGUE CONTROLS YOUR LIFE

Do you know that the life you have today is the result of your tongue work; everything you've been saying. The bible says “ Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:21).  Your words direct the course of your destiny, positively or otherwise; never forget that. Your tongue is the tool by which you chart your course in life. This means you actually have the control over your lif e through your tongue; you can determine the quality of life you live here on earth. This is the reason you shouldn't talk poverty, defeat, sickness or death; rather, talk prosperity, victory, success, health and life, and that’s what you’ll have in your life. Steer “your ship”—your life—in the direction of God’s destiny for you, with your tongue. Make a choice to speak the right words of faith about yourself, and you’ll have a glorious and successful life.

DECREE A THING!

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee…” (Job 22:28) To decree a thing means to authoritatively order or instruct with the force of law. Revelation 1:6 shows us that God has made us kings and priests. And one of the characteristics peculiar to Kings is the power to decree. As God’s king-priests, we have been put into office to decree anything we want to see established in our lives and in the lives of men, for “where the word of a king is, there is power…” (Ecclesiastes 8:4). The Church wields so much power that many Christians are yet to discover. As kings, we've been called into the life of the supernatural; we have more than enough power to do whatever we want to do. All we need is to have enough knowledge of who we are and what we have in God. 1 Peter 2:9 says, “but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…” It’s your responsibility to bring to pass whatever you want to see happen in your life; to

OUR GREAT PROVIDER

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19) Everything in the world belongs to God. He has in His custody inexhaustible and inestimable wealth! That makes the thought communicated to us by the Spirit in the opening verse, even more inspiring. Paul wasn't making a promise to the Church on God’s behalf. Rather, he had come to know God’s ways of doing things – that He supplies not just some but ALL our needs! Psalms 24:1 says “The earth is the LORD’S and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Also in Psalms 50:10-11, God tells us: “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.” Furthermore, He says “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts” (Haggai 2:8). So what in the world could be too big for Him to give you? No wonder David said, “The Lord is my shepherd;

PROVE GOD’S WORD IN YOUR LIFE

“Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth” (Psalm 119:89-90). The opening Scripture tells us that God’s Word is forever settled in heaven; however, it’s your responsibility to settle or prove the Word in your own life. The Bible says, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Concerning your health, marriage, business, academics, ministry etc., you can prove the Word of God. How? By simply acting on it and doing what it says. In fact, while talking about tithing in Malachi 3:10, the Lord challenged us to prove the Word: “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” So you see, God isn't afraid to be put on the spot; He asked us to prove H

OCTOBER 2015: THE MONTH OF EXPANSION

Pastor Chris pronounces October 2015 to be 'the Month of Expansion!' Preceding the announcement of the word for October 2015, Pastor Chris read from Isaiah 54:2-3: "Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations...For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles..."
