If a man’s words are wholesome, his life would be wholesome as well. This is why you must watch what you say! Don’t make careless statements for they’ll produce results for you, and never joke against the Word of God. This is why you must only say what you mean, and mean what you say. Remember, God holds you accountable for the things you say. So build your life with your words. Your life can’t be different from the words you speak. The Bible lets us know that God has set eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Meaning there’s no limit to what you can possess by faith! You have the capacity to contain eternity itself in your spirit. This was how Abraham became the possessor of the whole earth. The Lord said to him in   Genesis 13: 14-15, “…Lift up now thine eyes, look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever”. Abraham knew that the Lord wasn’t talking about physical lands. By faith, he saw the whole world with his spiritual eyes, and once he was able to see it, God said “it’s yours!” Start practicing how to see and take possession from your spirit for that’s where God guides you from. The Bible teaches, “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ” (John 3:16). God gave us His best, because we’re His best. The value of something can only be determined by what was paid for it; God saved us with the precious blood of Christ: “ Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot ” (1Peter 1:18-19). This scripture is a testimony of our value to God. James 1:18 says, “ Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures ” God did this on His own accord; by His choice He made us the first and best! “ Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionist, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God ” (1 Corinthians 6:10-11). Notice that our opening verse didn’t say “… and such  are   some of you …” rather it says “… and such  were   some of you …” this is because now that you’re in Christ, you’ve been cleansed of all unrighteousness. You’ve put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him (Colossians 3:9-10). The Christian has been separated from sin unto God, and declared righteous, in the Name of the Lord, and by the Spirit of God! When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? Some people don’t know the difference between complaining to the Lord and making a request of Him. When Jesus met the sick man at the pool of Bethesda, He asked him, “Do you want to be made whole?” Instead of the man to request His help, he started complaining. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine (2 Timothy 4:2). Our opening verse was Apostle Paul's charge to Timothy. He said, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season...." This is God's charge to you today; preach the Word, in season and out of season. There're nations today where you can't preach the Gospel openly, but some years ago, they were open. Preach the Word now before the doors of some nations are closed; some cities will be closed very soon, and you won't be able to preach the Gospel there, like you can now. There're many ways that a nation or city gets closed. For instance, when in a country, there're cities and states where you can't organize open-air gospel meetings because of prohibitions, it means that city or nation is closed. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew5:11-12). When, as a Christian you’re effective in soul-winning, ministering faith, hope and love to others, you become an easy target for persecution. Not everyone will accept you. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God (Luke 8:11). The Lord has given us His Word. The Bible says in Psalm 107:20, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.” If you’d receive God’s Word into your heart, it’ll change your life. The LORD will send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thy enemies (Psalm 110:2). Talking about the Lord Jesus, the Bible says, "...he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet" (1 Corinthians 15:25). This isn't about Him reigning in heaven, but in the earth. Legally, God has put all things under His feet. Ephesians 1:22 says, "And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church." So, Jesus is the head over all things. Isaiah 9:6 says, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder...." Notice, it doesn't say the government shall be upon His head, but upon His shoulder. Jesus is the head; the government is upon His shoulder, that is, His body—the Church. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3). Galatians 4:1 says, “Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.” The heir is one who has an inheritance. However, though he owns everything, as long as he’s a child, he can’t enjoy his inheritance; rather, he’s placed under tutors and instructors, to bring him up to maturity. God is a “blessing-God”; He always loves to bless people. The Bible says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9). In other words, He’s constantly looking around for someone to do something good for, someone to bless. But to do this, He won’t come down from heaven; He needs someone in the earth to bless another person. As a Christian, God has blessed you beyond measure. You have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Moreover, God didn’t bless you because you were good and kind. Your good works didn’t make God bless you more that He has already done. Jesus already died for you and made you his joint heir, He doesn’t need to bless you more than He already has. The truth is; you cannot but be blessed! Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Often times, people say, "I'm waiting on the Lord to do such-and-such for me." And by that they mean they're expecting Him to "do" something about their cases. If there's anything you're waiting for God to do for you, then I'll like to announce to you: God is waiting for you to do something and effect the change that you desire!
