READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. FAITH IN THE WORD - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SATURDAY,JANUARY 23,2016.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16). The Apostle Paul was talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the opening text, and went further in the next verse to let us know that through the Gospel, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith: “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith ” (Romans 1:17). What does that mean? It means living beyond the outward man, because faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. To live by faith, therefore, means to live from your spirit in response to God. That means living in, and on the Word of the Master. Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). The Word of God is your life. It’s what you need for a balanced spiritual life. The Bible ...

POSSESS THE LAND.

“all the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers” (Deuteronomy 8:1). When the children of Israel were about to enter the Promised Land, Moses explained to them that they had to go in and possess the land. You see, it wasn’t enough for them to just go into the land, they had to possess it as well. In other words they have to take charge of the land, and enjoy the benefits therein. In the New Testament, we are not going into the Promised Land; we were born into the Promised Land. However, the instruction to possess the land remains the same! Now that you are in it, you must possess your inheritance in Christ. You must possess your divine health, prosperity, peace, and joy. You have been born into the land that flows with abundant blessings, but you have to possess yours. The sure way to do so is through your confessions! You must boldly declare that al...

SUFFERING IS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY!

God takes no pleasure in suffering. There is no joy in pain, cancer, tuberculosis or paralysis. Jesus paid the price for your health, peace and prosperity. He died to make you strong; He didn’t leave anything out. Therefore your suffering is absolutely unnecessary. You must understand that the devil will not leave your life without negotiation. He will continue to oppress you until you say no to him. You must forcibly kick him out of your body. Never forget that the devil doesn’t play fair; that’s why Jesus said, “cast out devils.” There is no sickness you are suffering today that you are supposed to suffer. There is no disease in your life today that you are supposed to have. The Word of God is the power to heal and to save. That power will destroy every disease; it’ll destroy cancer, tumor and every growth. It will also cleanse your blood. Man’s sympathy wouldn’t do you any good. Salvation describes the totality of what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. It’s freedom made av...

LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6 The Scripture above reveals the power and greatness of our God – He commanded light to come out of darkness. And according to the Scriptures, this same God has Himself shined in our hearts! This means He has brought within us the same ability to cause light to shine out of any dark situation. So as a Christian, the power to cause something positive to come out of any negative situation resides in you. Thus, if for example, a Christian has been diagnosed with cancer or diabetes, to him, that cancer or diabetes is the darkness he’s facing, and the light he desires to see is his healing. God is saying he can produce healing out of that cancer or diabetes! He can call forth his healing. No matter what darkness may be facing you today, you can command light to come out of it. If it’s sickness or pa...

KNOW THE WORD FOR YOURSELF

The life of a Christian isn’t ordinary; it’s supernatural. This is why we’ve been instructed through God’s Word, to live with the consciousness of who we are in Christ. You have to leave the realm of the ordinary and get into the realm of the supernatural, where you take control of the affairs of your life. We are citizens of Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem; this is the city of the living God. As a citizen of this city you have undeniable rights: the right to live, to choose and to receive God’s blessings in Christ. It is also important to know that we have an adversary – the devil, whose mandate is to stop you from enjoying and exercising your rights in Christ Jesus. If you don’t know your rights in Christ, you’ll be at his mercy and that’s a dangerous way for you to live as a Christian Start today by digging into God’s Word and searching the Scriptures for yourself. Discover your rights and privileges in Christ: what God has said you can do and have, and then begin to appropriate the...

SPREADING: THE UPWARD AND FORWARD LIFE!

Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great” (Genesis 26:12-13). There're those who say life is full of ups and downs, but I've never known the down life; I've only journeyed in one direction, upward and forward only; and there's no option to that. That's the life to which you've been called; a life of increase, progress and advancement. This year, irrespective of the prevalent economic situation in the country where you live, you can still make progress and prosper. God's greatest wish is for you to prosper and live in health (3 John 1:2). He's talking about you living in divine health and not merely getting healed. This means that He wants you to grow to a point where you are ever prosperous, where you don't need healing because you don't get sick – it's a whole new level altogether. The Bible say...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. YOU HAVE HONOR AND KINGDOM DIGNITY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME, FRIDAY,JANUARY 22ND,2016.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified (Romans 8:30). Everyone who's born again has been glorified. It's not something we're hoping for or expecting to take place; it's already happened. You have His glory in your life, and the implication of this is that you're full of honour and Kingdom dignity! You can't be dishonoured, because His honour is on you! No wonder we have joy unspeakable, and full of glory, even in the midst of adversity! No wonder we're so passionate for the Gospel; we can't be persecuted enough to give this up. We have a life-changing message for the whole world. When we see men and women around the world living a failed life, we feel it, because we know we hold the key to their salvation. We're compelled to take the Gospel to them, because we know that the one who has Christ is brought into a life of honor, glory, and dign...

QUESTION & ANSWER WITH PASTOR CHRIS

What is the best way to combine academics with God's work on campus? Pastor said: Give your academics a priority, if you are on campus and you must learn to manage your time. You can even reschedule your meetings to enable you meet up with your program. He explained that when you're on campus you are to give your academic work the priority. Reschedule things you need to do for God so as to accommodate your academics. Why is the new creation still working to earn a living, if Adam was made to work as a result of sin? Pastor explained that there's a big difference between working to earn a living and working to be a blessing. He said; As the new creation, we work so as to be blessings to this world. The February Global Communion Service with our man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will hold on Sunday, 7th of Feb, 2016. It is a time to hear, receive and act on the word for the month from God through the man of God Pastor Chris. The word is definitely going elevate...

BE DEEPLY ROOTED IN YOUR FAITH

“If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister” Colossians 1:23 As a Christian, you must be deeply rooted in God’s Word. That’s how you build prevailing faith–faith that can face any challenge and win. An example of faith rooted in the Word is that of Abraham: “And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadliness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:19-20). When your faith is deeply rooted in the Word of God, it will be impossible for you to vacillate! You won’t stagger at the promise of God through unbelief; rather, like Abraham, your faith will be strong, and will always prevail; your confidence in God and in His ability to put you ove...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. THURSDAY, JANUARY 21ST 2016 TRUTH IS REALITY - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him (Ephesians 1:17). In Christianity we deal with truths—absolutes, and not assumptions as in religion. Truth is reality! It's called absolute knowledge, the "epignosis" (Greek) of Him. At the realm of truth, all doubts are dissolved; you just know; and such revelation is imparted to your spirit. For example, we weren't there when Jesus was born. But we believe, and are fully assured that He was born of a virgin! We just know in our spirit. It has become resident in our spirits. It's the same way that we know of a certainty that Jesus Christ is the Son of God! It's not an assumption by which we live, but a revelation in our spirits. Furthermore, we don't have any doubt about His death and resurrection from the dead! God raised Him from the dead and we testify accordingly. Not because we were there when it happened, b...

SEPARATED UNTO BLESSINGS

Over the years, Christians have been erroneously taught that many of their problems are connected to generational, family, or ancestral curses. But that’s not true! In as much as these curses exist and can influence one who isn’t born again, they ought not to affect a Christian. Some Christians have nevertheless found themselves victims of so-called ancestral or generational curses because they lack knowledge of their new identity in Christ. T he Bible says,  “ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new ”  (2 Corinthians 5:17). Having been born again by the Word and Spirit of God, you’re not the same person that was born of your parents. Therefore, no matter the curses that may have been invoked on you, or that you may have inherited from your forbears, they’re of no effect, because you’re now a new creation in Christ! Thus, you’ve been separated into a new family – God’s family – where you’re blessed...

YOU ARE A BLESSING

God is a “blessing-God”; He always loves to bless people. The Bible says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9). In other words, He’s constantly looking around for someone to do something good for, someone to bless. But to do this, He won’t come down from heaven; He needs someone in the earth to bless another person. That’s why He trains us by teaching us to give, to be caring and concerned about the needs of others. Realize that you’re God’s point of contact to your world; you’re His contact-point of blessings! You’re not the one trying to get blessed, for you’ve already been lavishly blessed; now you’re a blessing (Genesis 12:2). When God is looking for whom to bless, He wants to use you, because your life is overflowing with blessings. Abraham was a blessed man; he was prosperous in all things, for God had blessed him abundantly. Just by association...

MORE THAN BLESSED

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing…” (Genesis 12:2-3). If you’re born again, you’re more than a blessed man or woman: you’re actually a blessing. Most of God’s people need to grasp the greater truth that they have become the blessing! Not only did God bless Abraham, He also made him a blessing: “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2). This didn’t end with Abraham, for the Bible says “…If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). To be in Christ means you’re born again, thus all the blessings God endowed Abraham with are now your present-hour possession, making you a package of divine blessing. I would to God you’d realize what a blessing you are as a Christian. No matter the health condition a person may have, just touching you in faith could heal ...

UNLIMITED ACCESS TO THE FATHER

“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath  consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh” (Hebrews 10:19-20) In the Old Testament, no one could enter “the Holy Place” except the high priest, and he could only do so once a year and not without the blood of atonement. But today, as God’s children, we live in “the Holy Place” because we live in God’s presence. With a right of hearing before the Father, you can talk to Him and fellowship with Him directly. Remember, the Father loves you and delights in your prayers (Proverbs 15:8), for His eyes are over the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers (1 Peter 3:12). Now you don’t need to rely solely on the prayers of others for you, or for any man to go into the presence of God on your behalf. The moment you were born again, you were catapulted into the very presence of God; you can make requests directly to the Father, as y...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. WEDNESDAY,JAN 20TH 2016 THE WORD CLEANSES AND RENEWS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:22-24). Sometimes, when a demon is cast out of someone, the same demon may find its way back into that person again. Some people get confused about this; but it's not a mystery at all. Jesus said when a devil goes out of a man, he goes through dry places seeking rest. When he finds none, he says, "I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first..." (Matthew 12:44-45). This is something a lot of people don't understand. It's not enough to cast out devils; you mu...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. WE GOT IT BY INHERITANCE! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME TUESDAY,JANUARY 19,2016.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9). The above scripture is a most inspiring verse! It says you're chosen, royal, and peculiar. You're not an ordinary person; you belong in a different class. Notice that it says, "Ye are a chosen generation"; not "Ye shall be." A promise would have been good enough, but this is a present-hour reality. I particularly like the Amplified rendering: "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people...." We're a chosen breed! In Christ Jesus, there's neither black nor white; what matters is a new creation: "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature" (Galatians 6:15). In Christ Jesus, there's only one race, the...

GOD’S DESIRE FOR YOU

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant” (Psalm 35:27) God has called you to a life of prosperity. Referring to God’s children, the Bible says: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures” (Job 36:11). This is your heritage as a child of God. Prosperity transcends having money; being rich, wealthy and affluent is just an aspect of it. Prosperity means to be safe and well, to fare well in life; to live happily in rest, health, peace, safety, riches and favor. It means to experience total soundness and wholeness in every aspect of your life – to be successful in all you do God doesn’t just desire prosperity for you (3 John 2), He gave it to you freely in Christ (1 Timothy 6:17). The Bible says Abraham was blessed in all things, and we are his seed; “and if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abrah...

HOW 8-YEAR-OLD CHILD BOUGHT MIRACLE

"An eight-year-old child heard her parents talking about her little brother. All she knew was that he was very sick and they had no money left. They were moving to a smaller house because they could not afford to stay in the present house after paying the doctor's bills. Only a very costly surgery could save him now and there was no one to loan them the money. When she heard her daddy say to her tearful mother with whispered desperation, 'Only a miracle can save him now', the little girl went to her bedroom and pulled her piggy bank from its hiding place in the closet. She poured all the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Clutching the precious piggy bank tightly, she slipped out the back door and made her way six blocks to the local drugstore. She took a quarter from her bank and placed it on the glass counter. "And what do you want?" asked the pharmacist. "It's for my little brother," the girl answered back. "He's reall...
