RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THE WORD ON YOUR LIPS - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Tuesday, June 19th

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10). It’s not enough to know God’s Word as it’s contained in the written pages of the Bible; you have to release power through speaking! That’s how it works! With the Word on your lips, you’ll live over and above all limitations and circumstances. Voicing your faith is a fundamental spiritual principle, without which even the gift and blessing of salvation can’t be received or activated. Notice the opening verse again: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10). The salvation package is delivered upon satisfying these two conditions: Believing and confessing the Lordship of Jesus. To believe isn’t enough; there must be the corresponding verbal communication or affirmation of your faith. When you speak the Word, what you’re doing is releasing the power of God into action on your beha...

YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY!

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23). Some folks like to criticize those who believe in the message of faith, calling them the ‘name-it-and-claim-it bunch’. ‘How can you believe that by merely saying something is yours, it becomes yours?’ they query derogatorily. Well, guess what? That’s exactly what the Bible says! You can have whatever you say. The Lord Jesus was unequivocal in His statement in the opening Scripture about the power of confessions made from a heart that is full of faith. He said ‘whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;’… that lets me know He’s talking about you and me since ‘whosoever’ is a ‘blank cheque!’ Jesus also said, ‘…and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that t...

EFFECT THE CHANGE THROUGH PRAYER

Let’s get ready to experience more joy unspeakable and full of glory as we effect more changes through our prayers. Glory! But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you… (Acts 1:8). There isn’t a thing you can’t change when you pray. The reason a lot of God’s children feel despondent and helpless when they go through difficult situations is that many don’t pray; and for those who pray, many do so amiss. Life may be replete with challenges and persecutions; however, as Christians, we need to realize that even when we’re going through such, we can still be filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Our continuous fellowship with the Lord through prayer helps us live in victory every single day. It’s high time you started praying, and it’s not difficult at all. As you continue in God’s Word, the Holy Spirit will guide you on how to pray. When you find yourself in difficult situations, first consider what the trouble is all about. Then, ask yourself, “I...

PRAYER FOR YOU

Dear Father, I thank you for showing me the importance and value of words. I live by your Word; therefore, my communication is modeled in line with your thoughts, precepts, and direction for my life. I speak faith-filled words always, knowing that my words are filled with power to transform my life and chart my course in victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

SPEAK THE TRUTH IN YOUR HEART- PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart (Psalm 15:1-2). If you’re going to walk in the glory of God and have His grace and power manifested in your life, the Word says you must walk uprightly, work righteousness, and speak the truth in your heart. Now, what does it mean to speak the truth in your heart? This is where a lot of people miss it. They don’t have a problem walking uprightly; they don’t have a problem working righteousness, that is, doing right, but then they have a problem with “speaking the truth in their heart.” Notice that the psalmist didn’t say, “He that... speaketh the truth to his neighbor”; no! I‘m aware that a few translations render it in a way that seems to suggest that it should read “speaking the truth to someone else,” but when you study it from the original Hebrew rendering, you’ll observe it has nothing to do with talking with some...

SAY THIS WITH ME - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water, my leaves are evergreen and shall never wither. I am flourishing like the cedars of Lebanon. I don't know when dryness comes. I function under the auction of the Holy Spirit and I know all things. I am like the city set on a hill, I cannot be hidden. I am the light of the world. I am the salt of the earth, I preserve the earth. I do not walk in darkness because my path is that of a shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. I am walking in divine health because I have got the life of God in me, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. Every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, every cell of my blood is inundated with the life of God. I am a champion for life. Prosperity is mine, Favor is mine. My victory is sure. I am making progress, I am moving forward and upward only, No stagnation in my life. I am a success for life because of the Holy Spirit. I deal excellently in all my affairs, n...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRAME YOUR LIFE AND THINKING WITH THE WORD - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 2016 .

Hello Saints! Download your complete e-copy of November Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional  for free in any language of your choice just click here   http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John   Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless you All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16) The Word is profitable to change your way of thinking. This is what the Lord wants. He desires to change your opinion about Him, about other people, about the world, your perception about life, and even about yourself. He wants you to think right all the time. If you had fear in your life, for example, He wants you to replace it with faith, boldness, and confidence. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” The Word is the solution fo...

WATCH WHAT YOU SAY

“ But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned ” Matthew 12:36–37 Our opening scripture expresses the paramount importance of words as taught by the Lord Jesus. Interpreting His words literally, He said, a man will go to heaven or hell because of what he said or didn’t say; but beyond that, your life is the character of your words. If a man’s words are wholesome, his life would be wholesome as well. This is why you must watch what you say! Don’t make careless statements for they’ll produce results for you, and never joke against the Word of God. This is why you must only say what you mean, and mean what you say. Remember, God holds you accountable for the things you say. So build your life with your words. Your life can’t be different from the words you speak. Therefore make it a conscious exercise to store God’s Word i...
