PROVE YOUR COMMITMENT BY YOUR GIVING

God told Abraham to give Him his only son as a burnt sacrifice. When he was about to do it, God stopped him, saying, ‘…lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything upon him: for now I know that thou feareth God, Seeing thou hast not with held thy Son, thine only Son from me” (Genesis 22:12). Can you see that Abraham’s action was a proof of his faith? Though he had been walking with the Lord, he had to prove his commitment through his giving. God told him what to give and he gave it. His action was a proof of his commitment to God. The quality of your seed will always determine your level of commitment. There is no other way. You are not committed to something you don’t give into; it is self deception to think otherwise. This is the reason the Lord Jesus said in Luke 12:34, ” For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Prove your commitment today through you

SUFFERING IS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY!

God takes no pleasure in suffering. There is no joy in pain, cancer, tuberculosis or paralysis. Jesus paid the price for your health, peace and prosperity. He died to make you strong; He didn't leave anything out. Therefore your suffering is absolutely unnecessary. You must understand that the devil will not leave your life without negotiation. He will continue to oppress you until you say no to him. You must forcibly kick him out of your body. Never forget that the devil doesn't play fair; that’s why Jesus said, “cast out devils.” There is no sickness you are suffering today that you are supposed to suffer. There is no disease in your life today that you are supposed to have. The Word of God is the power to heal and to save. That power will destroy every disease; it’ll destroy cancer, tumor and every growth. It will also cleanse your blood. Man’s sympathy wouldn't do you any good. Salvation describes the totality of what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. It’s free

THE “UN-INFECTABLE” BREED!

And these signs shall follow them that believe…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them… (Mark 16:17-18). The Words of Jesus in this Scripture above are as clear as they ever could be- the believer is immune to deadly ingestion! If he drinks any deadly or poisonous substance, it should have no effect on him. Notice that Jesus didn't say, “If they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not kill them,” He said “it shall not hurt them.” This means it’s not supposed to hurt you, let alone kill you. It makes no difference whether the deadly substance gets into your system through your mouth or through your veins–it shall have no effect on you. The Bible gives us the account of the Apostle Paul, after he and his co-travelers were shipwrecked at the island of Malta. Being a very cold Island, the natives went out of their way to build a huge bonfire and gathered Paul and his colleagues around it. The Bible says “After Paul had gathered some wood and had put it on the fi

YOU CAN’T BE A FOOL FOR FAITH

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:19-20) Picture Abraham, a ninety nine year old man, with a wife, Sarah, who was past the age of menopause, going about telling everyone in town they’re expecting to have a child. To the spiritually unlearned, they must have appeared silly and senile. But Abraham disregarded all contrary situations and was strong in faith! He had seen in the spirit the son that was promised, and that picture was more real than his old frail body and that of his wife. He maintained his confession and sure enough, Isaac was born. This proves you can never be a fool for faith! Whenever you take steps of faith in God and His eternal Word, your actions will certainly pay off. Faith is the title-deed of unseen realities (Hebrews 11:1). It is

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES: JOY HAS EXPRESSIONS - SATURDAY,SEPTEMBER 26TH PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD

For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city (Acts 8:7-8). Our opening text is an account of events in Samaria when Philip, the evangelist, preached Christ in the city. The power of God's Word prevailed mightily, such that many were healed and set free from demons. The result was that the city erupted in joy. The Bible specifically records that there was great joy in that city. How do you know that someone is joyful? Through their expressions! Joy has expressions. Laughter is an expression of joy. Praising God —being exultant and exuberant with praise to Him —is an expression of joy. Singing songs of praise in thanksgiving is an expression of joy. The Bible says, "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms" (James 5:13). Express your joy in the Lord. Joy is one of the fruits of the recre

FOLLOW THE SPIRIT

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13) One of the things you must do throughout this year is to yield to the Spirit and follow His guidance and counsel in all your dealings. No other personality in this life is worth following but the Holy Spirit. He’s the greatest friend and teacher you could ever know; He’s the One called alongside to go with you, and to be with you and in you! He’s the One who guides you into all truth and brings His Word to your remembrance. Following the Holy Spirit means yielding yourself to Him through the Word of God. You cannot follow the Holy Spirit except you’re yielded to God’s Word; doing what He says. This will reflect the beauty of God in you and help you live a more excellent life. You’ll find yourself making the best decisions and the right choices always. You’ll do the

THE HOLY SPIRIT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

“And the Spirit of LORD will come upon thee, and thou shall prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man” (1 Samuel 10:6) The importance of the Holy Spirit’s ministry in the Church can never be over emphasized. Jesus and the Father are in Heaven but the Holy Spirit is with us here, and He reveals the Father and Jesus to us. You can’t live an effective Christian life except through the Holy Spirit. No wonder the Lord Jesus commanded His disciples to remain in Jerusalem until they were endued with the power of the Spirit (Acts 1:4). They needed the power of the Holy Ghost to be effective witnesses of the Gospel of Christ. The apostle Peter, who in timidity and fear, denied Jesus before a young girl, became so bold after he had received the Spirit. When the opportunity came to testify about Christ, he boldly preached the Word and won about three thousand souls to Christ at once: “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unt

LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS

Society may place limits on you; your family background, the nation where you live, your education, job description, business, or finances could place limits on you. But there’s a life without limits; that’s the life Jesus brought to us; it’s the transcendent life of glory where there are no limitations. - See more at: http://onlinemissions.christembassy.org/home/bible_study#sthash.pmU2l1ZF.dpuf

PRAYER AT 12 NOON AND 10 PM (LOCAL/GMT) - MON SEPT 21ST 2015

We concluded the 3 day Southern Africa Leaders and Partners Conference yesterday in Johannesburg. It was awesome, and the Lord blessed us all immensely with the ministry of the Spirit and the Word. See highlights of the program on the Loveworld News app or visit http://loveworldnews.com David said in Psalm 145:1-3:"I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name forever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable". At 12 noon (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervidly in tongues for most of 15 mins, blessing the Lord and chanting this scripture to God with our hands lifted up. Praise and glorify Him for the results and fruits of our programs and conferences. Thank Him for the Word of truth and revelations shared; for the miracles, and the eternal impact of these in the lives of all participants, and for the great things to be accomplished as a
