If there was ever a time to commit yourself to the Lord and do more for Him, it’s now. However, don’t expect everything to go smoothly just because you’ve decided to do more for the Lord. You’re likely to face adversities for daring to go the extra mile and do bigger things for the Master, but refuse to be moved. Our glory and victory in Christ is an eternal one. Read our opening verse again. In ...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL GRACED TO EXCEL – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, JUNE 16TH

But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon (1 Corinthians 3:10).  As Christians, we’re all gifted and graced by God to excel in life. There’s the general grace of Jesus Christ which we all received for salvation. Also, there’s the specific grace that God gives you on the basis of His calling on your life. The general grace of God is what brought you salvation and protects you in salvation. However, when God calls you, He gives you a responsibility and the grace to fulfill that responsibility. In our opening verse, for example, Paul talked ab...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL YOU PRAY IN TONGUES FROM YOUR SPIRIT – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME THURSDAY, JUNE 15TH .

Glorious Greetings Saints of God! When you pray in tongues, it’s your spirit that prays, even though the Holy Spirit is the One who grants you the language or utterance. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:14: “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.” Praying in tongues transcends the realm of the mind or human understanding, because the language is divine. All you do is connect your vocal organs to your human spirit and the flow takes place. That connection is your act of faith—the same faith you ...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WE’RE THE GENERATION OF JESUS CHRIST – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14TH .

Sagacious  Greetings Saints of God!   Download your complete e-copy of June Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here   http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John  Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless You And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins (Genesis 35:11). The nations and kings that’ll come from Abraham as our opening verse declares, aren’t the nations in the Middle East as some people think; those are earthly nations. God is dealing here with something spiritual; His promise to Abraham was an eternal covenant, and the heir of that covenant is Jesus Christ, with whom we’re joint-heirs. Galatians 3:16 says, “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” Then, the twenty...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SEE VISIONS OF YOUR BLESSED LIFE IN CHRIST – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME TUESDAY, JUNE 13TH .

Unfeigned   Greetings Saints of God!    Download your complete e-copy of June Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here   http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John  Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless You   And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams (Acts 2:17).  In our theme verse, Peter reiterated the words of the prophet in Joel 2:28. Notice that the prophet didn’t say, “God shall show your young men visions”; rather, God’s Word through the prophet was, “…your young men shall see visions….” This is different from God supremely granting us visions and revelations, realities of the Spirit that He unveils to us; we’re to consciously, with our spirits, see visions. It’s part of the blessings th...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WHAT CAN YOU SEE? – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME MONDAY, JUNE 12TH

Largesse Greetings Saints of God!    Download your complete e-copy of June Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here  http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John  Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).  In Genesis 15, we read that the Lord gave His promise to Abraham that he (Abraham) would be the father of many nations. God promised him that his seed shall be numerous upon the earth, and the whole world would be blessed through him. However, Abraham, who then was still called “Abram,” argued and questioned the possibility of God’s promise ever coming to pass, because he had no child: “…what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?”...

BOUGHT WITH A PRICE!

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”  (1 Corinthians 6:20 ) Many years ago, a Chinese brother was travelling on the same train with three gentlemen who wanted to play a game. They required a fourth person to play with them, so they asked him to join in. “I’m sorry,” he replied. “I didn’t come with my hands.” The men stared at him in astonishment because to them, he seemed complete, yet, he said he didn’t come with his hands. “What about these ones?” they asked. Then he replied, “They’re not mine; they belong to Jesus because He bought me with a price. Now I only use them for the things He wants done.” The salvation we have in Christ is serious business; Jesus paid a huge price by giving Himself in our place so we could go free. You therefore can’t afford to live life the way you choose anymore, for a price has been paid; you’ve been bought. Now you belong to Him and should live a life that’s pleasing to Hi...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL YIELDING TO THE DOMINION OF THE WORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME SUNDAY, JUNE 11TH .

Joyous Greetings Saints of God!   Download your complete e-copy of June Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional for free in any language of your choice just click here  http://dl.rhapsodyofrealities.org/en/ro/home/Pst%20John  Or http://bit.ly/2dvYHJ9 God bless You And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).  It doesn’t matter where you’ve been or what has happened to you; if you’d let the Word have the dominion in your life, you’ll walk in absolute victory in all circumstances. In yielding to the dominion of the Word, there’re certain fundamentals to note; these are knowledge, meditation, and faith proclamations. First and foremost, you must know the Word, and let it guide your thoughts, words and actions. In Hosea 4:6, God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” He wasn’t talking about their la...

BECOME COMMITTED TO PRAYER.

As Christians, we must strive at having effective prayer lives. Prayer is not only a fellowship, it’s also a labor. And it’s wrong for us to pray only when we feel like it. Our bodies and minds may not enjoy praying and can rebel against it because prayer doesn’t appeal to our minds and senses. Many times we make the mistake of putting off praying till the end of the day, but by the time we are through with the activities of the day, we are so tired and drowsy and our thoughts start wondering while we are praying. At this stage, labor comes into prayer; a fight to keep yourself on track against the dictates of the flesh. This requires ample training and you must be resolved to stick with your prayer schedule. Some Christians may find it difficult to do this, but the reason is they haven’t been able to discipline their flesh. If you can train your mind and body to go to work every day of the week, without ever considering getting to work late, or missing work for a day; then you c...

CULTIVATING GODLY HABITS

According to his usual habit Paul went to the synagogue. There during three Sabbaths he held discussions with the people… (Acts 17:2 GNB). Some habits program you positively for success, while some others program you negatively for failure. For example, a student who stays up late to watch movies is definitely programming himself wrongly. He shouldn’t expect to turn out the same way with another who’s studious at night, and spends his time wisely. The latter will most likely end up an excellent student, while the former ends up average or even obtuse. Human beings are born with “wild” instincts; they come into the world as babies who are uncultured and untamed. As they grow, their inherent “wildness” makes it easier for them to pick up bad habits faster than good ones. This explains why a child may start telling lies without anyone necessarily teaching him how to. As he continues in it, it forms his character. Thus the Bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: ...

SUPERNATURAL INSTRUCTIONS

“Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it” (Romans 12:2 MSG). One of the ways of training your human spirit is educating your spirit to respond to God at once; learning to respond quickly to His instructions. A lot of the problems many of God’s children get themselves into would be averted if only they respond quickly to the Holy Spirit. Sometimes you may find yourself in fellowship with certain people the Spirit of God doesn’t want you to make friends with, and then He tells you to distance yourself from them. Obey immediately. Consciously train yourself to respond quickly to His voice. Don’t let Him have to repeat instructions to you over and over again. Remember, God’s guidance in your life doesn’t have to be spectacular. If it’s from the Holy Spirit, it’s supernatural and can be truste...

THE HOLY SPIRIT: OUR INTERCESSOR

The Holy Spirit goes with you as your Intercessor, but He also carries out His intercessory ministry through you, a believer. If a Christian has a problem or is in trouble, the Holy Spirit is the One who will pray for him. Does He do this by Himself? No, He doesn’t. How could God pray for you by Himself? It would be illegal for Him to do that. He prays for us only through another believer in Christ Jesus who’s filled with the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not human. He doesn’t have a human body, so He works through us. To explain that with the scriptures, let’s take a look at Romans 8:26: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself (Himself) maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” This means we don’t always know what we should pray for, and how to pray about them, “…but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.” Now, if you’ve ...

THE FULLNESS OF THE SPIRIT

“For him whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the spirit by measure to him.” (John 3:34) When the Spirit of God came upon the prophets, priests, judges and kings of old, they received the anointing in a measure. But the Bible says of Jesus: “For him who God has sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Holy Spirit by measure unto him” (John 3: 34). Jesus was the first to have the Spirit of God (or the anointing) in His fullness. Christians have said this applied only to Jesus (that He alone had the fullness of God’s Spirit) and that those of us who are born again today only have a measure of the Spirit; meaning we don’t have the fullness of God’s Spirit. But in the light of God’s Word, that’s not true. The Bible says, “and of His fullness have we all received, and grace for grace” (John 1:16) More so, the Holy spirit, as a person, lives in us today in His fullness. So, we have the fullness of the Spirit. The Bible says in Christ Jesus dwell...

THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR INTERCESSOR

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26) How comforting to know that the Holy Spirit bears us up in the hour of need, when we don’t know what to pray for as we ought! He intercedes – prays for us in ways that cannot be put into words (Romans 8:26 CEV). How does He do it? He does it through you! This is one of the reasons it’s important to pray more in the spirit, and listen to the signals and intuitions of God’s Spirit when you pray. The Holy Spirit requires our vocal faculties to carry out His intercessory ministry through us. He prompts you and gives you the urge to speak in tongues, and when that urge comes, don’t relent or hesitate because it’s from the Holy Spirit who may be seeking to save you or your loved ones from imminent mishap. Yield yourself to the intercessory ministry of the Holy Spirit today.

THE TRANSLATIONAL POWER OF THE SPIRIT!

“…Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God” (Hebrews 11:5) Like Enoch, you can walk with the Spirit of God with such translational power that you won’t see death, which is not just the cessation of biological life, but also sickness, defeat, destruction, failure, stagnation and retrogression. This translational power refers to the transportation of the Holy Spirit that puts you in a place of advantage. Jeremiah 17:8 aptly describes the one who has been so transported by the Spirit: “…he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” This means the problems that destroy other people can’t get a hold of him, because he’s always transported above them by the ...

ALWAYS CONSULT WITH THE SPIRIT

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalm 32:8) The Holy Spirit can tell you what to do in every situation so you can always win in life. Many are frustrated because they never consult with Him on the right steps to take. They’d rather go to their relatives and friends to help them out of trouble. Sadly, those they meet for help only provide them counsel that doesn’t work, because it’s based on human reasoning and sense knowledge. Learn to consult with the Holy Spirit for answers. Ask Him for guidance and direction concerning everything you do. When you face challenges that seem insurmountable, call on Him, and He’ll tell you what to do; He’ll give you the strategies to employ. The great men and women we read about in Scriptures understood this truth, which was why they never took a major step until they had consulted with the Lord. Learn to trust the Holy Spirit; depend on Him at all times, for He’s with you, i...

This is the Lord’s desire for you. Whatever the need, irrespective of the circumstances, He wants you to be self-sufficient, so much so that you require no aid or support. But you see, He wants you to get big enough for others. The reason for being self-sufficient in all things is for you to abound in good works. That immediately brings something to mind: you really don’t live for yourself, but for other people. Galatians 6:10 says, “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good un...

READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL GO BEYOND THE LIMITS – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, JUNE 9TH .

There’re those who are always legalistic in their views and approaches to life and spiritual instructions. They believe in, and demand a strict literal adherence to spiritual instructions. If you were given an instruction to invite a soul to church, for example, learn to stretch yourself beyond the limits; go the extra mile by inviting and witnessing to much more than the number you’ve been assigned. If you were involved in a project, perhaps, in the house of God, and you were to give a thousand dollars, don’t make your contribution legalistic. Don’t see it as a donation, but as an oblation to God. Once you’ve gi...

Prayer at 10pm (Local/GMT) - Thur June 8TH 2017

Romans 8:26-27 says, "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God" At 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray in tongues of the spirit for all 15min, yielding ourselves to the ministry of the Holy Spirit in deep intercession. We declare that Christ's purpose shall prevail in all the earth. Amen. Watch the video (PCT_SVt51), posted earlier today and reshare it. God bless you. EXTRACT FROM: www.yookos.com/pastorchrislive
