2“Then shalt thou lay
up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. Yea, the
Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shat have plenty of silver” (Job 22:24-25).
If you’ve ever wiped a
table clean of dust, you’d have observed that after some time, some dust still
managed to accumulate on the same surface you wiped so clean. This parallels
the prosperity of the believer in Christ. When the Bible says you shall lay up
gold as dust, it’s telling you your supply will never end!
So you don’t ever have to
think or talk lack, for you’re plugged to an unending supply. No wonder David
said, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to
lie down in green pastures…” (Psalm 23:1-2). Therefore, never be
afraid when it looks as though you just used up your last savings. Here’s what
you should do: say, “I lay up gold as dust; I’m plugged to God’s supply
system. The money I give comes back to me in a harvest, in the Name of Jesus.”
God is the One Who
supplies all your needs, not according to your salary or the income from your
business, but according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
