“…though he was so very rich, yet to help you he became so very poor, so that by being poor he could make you rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9 TLB).
The Scripture above is our guarantee for a life of supernatural abundance. The riches we have in Christ are impossible to quantify. Amidst these riches, some people still find it increasingly difficult to believe what the Scripture above says. Job 22:24 says, “Thou shalt lay-up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks”. This presupposes that our wealth is inexhaustible. Again the Bible says of the Lord Jesus “…though he was (so very) rich, yet for your sakes he became (so very) poor, in order that by his poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied)” (2 Corinthians 8:9 Amp).
One thing religious folks can’t stand is prosperity. It makes them uncomfortable and restless. But if they would spend more time with their Bibles and believe what they read, they will come to the full knowledge of the truth.
Prosperity is yours in Christ Jesus, so don’t let anybody deceive you. There is nothing too good for you because you are the king’s kid. Never give heed to those who say otherwise, just keep talking and living happy. And when you see a fellow brother or sister prospering, be happy and rejoice with him or her.
