“He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth” (Proverbs 10:17).
It’s a sad reality that many people spend most of their lives in the wrong places, doing the wrong things. For years, they struggle in life, failing to achieve anything meaningful, and wonder why. They suffer because they’re ignorant (Hosea 4:6), either because they have no one to guide them, or because they stubbornly reject guidance.
In the Scriptures, wisdom speaks: “I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.” (Proverbs 8:20-21). Anyone can be success if they want to, the Bible says of wisdom, “…those that seek me early shall find me” (Proverb 8:17). ‘Early’ here means as soon as you receive instructions. Instruction will make you wise: “Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not” (Proverb 8:33).
2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” God’s Word has been given to you to help you navigate your way and walk in the guaranteed path of success, victory, glory and prosperity. Your success depends on whether you’d pay attention to it, receive instructions, and act accordingly. You can’t live by the Word and fail.
