Righteousness is the nature of God that’s imparted to the human spirit, producing in him the rightness of God and the ability to do right and fulfill the will of the Father. God is always right; that’s His nature, and He has produced the same nature in us!
In the Old Testament, the Israelites had to read the Law to know right or wrong; but that’s not for the new creation in Christ! In Jeremiah 31:33, the Lord said, “…I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts….” This is what has happened: righteousness is now in your spirit.
No wonder Jesus said, “Ye are the light of the world….” (Matthew 5:14); you can tell what is right. You’re not only a partaker, but the expression of God’s righteousness. Let righteousness reign through you; give expression to God’s best in your life.
