“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant” (Psalm 35:27)
God has called you to a life of prosperity. Referring to God’s children, the Bible says: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures” (Job 36:11). This is your heritage as a child of God.
Prosperity transcends having money; being rich, wealthy and affluent is just an aspect of it. Prosperity means to be safe and well, to fare well in life; to live happily in rest, health, peace, safety, riches and favor. It means to experience total soundness and wholeness in every aspect of your life – to be successful in all you do God doesn’t just desire prosperity for you (3 John 2), He gave it to you freely in Christ (1 Timothy 6:17). The Bible says Abraham was blessed in all things, and we are his seed; “and if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). You didn’t have to struggle for this blessing; it was given to you as an inheritance, because you’re the seed of Abraham (1 Peter 3:9). Praise God!
