ASK WHAT YOU WANT

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you” (John 16:23).
Jesus lets us know that His Name is effective before the Father. In His Name, you can ask the Father for anything. Before you were born again you were undeserving of God’s attention and blessings, but Jesus took your place and died for you. From the moment you received Christ, and made Him the Lord of your life, you became worthy of His attention, deserving of His kindness and all of His blessings. Why? Because you’re now in Christ Jesus, therefore your righteousness is not the righteousness of your acts, but the righteousness of His acts. His righteousness has qualified you for His blessings, and made you worthy and rightly positioned to enjoy God’s best: “Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified {and} made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light” (Colossians 1:12 AMP)
So now, you can act in boldness, and ask for anything in the Name of Jesus. He said, “Whatsoever you ask the Father, in my name, He will give it to you” That means, when you make a demand or ask anything in His Name, He’ll see to it that it happens. So right now, based on this knowledge, go ahead and ask what you want.
