“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,
and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to
make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the
LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.” (1 Samuel 2:8)
Many
live their lives in sadness and gloom because of the circumstances of their
birth. Some are too discouraged to have hope for a bright future because they
were born into a poor family, city or country. They assume all is lost for
them, but that’s not true!
When
you’re in Christ, it makes no difference what the social or financial status of
your earthly parents is, or the economic situation in the country. It doesn’t
count anymore. There’s no rule or law anywhere, which states that a person who
was born in a palace will do better than the one born in the countryside. In
fact, the worse the circumstances of your birth, the greater the potentials of
your testimony!
Peradventure
you came from a very poor, terrible-looking home, don’t be ashamed of it.
Rather from there, walk your way upwards! Make up your mind, you’re going to be
so successful and you’ll move everybody out of that place into a better place.
Be glad about the home you are from, thank God for it.
That’s where God located you. It’s part of your glory and testimony. Hallelujah!
