“Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!” (James 3:5)
One of the greatest gifts that God gave to man is the power to use words. Words are the building blocks of life; they create the image of a man’s life, and the circumstances in it. Words direct the course of life for every man, and they are the power to control your future.
Also, words are spiritual elements. This means, words don’t die; they are never lost! Jesus admonishing the Pharisees said, “…every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment” (Matthew 12:36).
This shows us the value of words, and why we must consistently speak the right words – faith filled words. Only use words that are consistent with what God has said about you in His Word. Speak words of faith, love, hope, health, prosperity, success and victory always. Don’t say what you perceive with your physical senses; rather, agree with, confess, and testify of the Word!
The quality of your life on earth, your relationship with God, your relationship with others, and where you go eternally: heaven or hell, are determined by your words. Don’t take them lightly!
