READ RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. SUCCESS WITHOUT STRUGGLE – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME MONDAY, JUNE 20TH 2016.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. FOR HE THAT IS ENTERED INTO HIS REST, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his (Hebrews 4:9-10).
Notice the underlined phrase above: “For he that is entered into his rest….” That rest, is the rest in Christ; it’s much more than the rest for the physical body. It’s rest for your soul, where you don’t struggle or toil for anything whatsoever. As a new creation, everything required for your success, prosperity, victory, health and greatness has been made available in Christ. So, you don’t have to struggle in life anymore, for you’ve entered God’s rest.
There’re many who haven’t realized this truth, and therefore, can’t walk in the vantage position of rest. In their jobs, businesses, projects, or even their evangelical responsibilities, they labor, toil, and struggle. But Christ is our rest. Our struggling doesn’t please God. That’s why the Holy Spirit was sent to help us. John 14:16 (AMP) says, “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever.” He’s here today, and now; He’s your Helper.
We’re living in the day of rest, ruling, and reigning with the King, seated together with Him in heavenly places: “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6). Notice that scripture doesn’t say “We’ve been made to stand together in heavenly places,” no! We’re seated with Him; and that’s not the position of hardship, struggle, or labor; it’s a position of rest. The work has been done in Christ Jesus; now He says, “Enjoy all things. Live in my rest, for all things are yours.”
Even your evangelical work shouldn’t be a struggle. Recognize this truth, and with that consciousness, preach and teach the Word; the power of the Spirit will be in it and convict or stir your hearers. It’s part of your blessing as the seed of Abraham, to excel and make progress in life, from glory to glory, without struggling.
CONFESSION
I’m a new creation in Christ, the seed of Abraham, and an heir according to the promise. I live perpetually in the rest of God, for Christ is my Sabbath. Now and always, I walk in His glory, for I’ve been ordained to excel, win, and make progress from glory to glory, without struggles or anxieties. Blessed be God!
Further Study: || Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. ||
|| 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. CHALLENGES ARE YOUR OPPORTUNITIES - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PHD FRIDAY, MAY 6TH 2016.

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children...No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it (Hebrews 12:7-11 NIV). The Bible says, "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him..." (2 Chronicles 16:9). That means He's watching and looking for opportunities to manifest His glory on your behalf. He never leaves you alone. He never lets you down. He's moved with the feeling of our infirmities (Hebrews 4:15). He knows when you go through pain, and seeks to get you out of every predicament. Every human need is God's opportunity to bless. He wants to meet every human need. Actually, He's already done that in Christ Jesus, but some are yet to fully understand and accept what He's done. When you have a problem, when you...

He is the one that brings us the presence of God and makes it real to us – Isaiah 63:9,10a When we pray, it is the Holy Spirit that makes the divine presence real to our Spirits, and we are spiritually overwhelmed by His Glory. David understood the Important of that presence in has life – Psalm 51:11b Moses also recognized the Important of the divine presence – Exodus 33:15 God’s presence brings joy to the heart of a believer – Psalm 16:11, Romans 14:17. Joy is the fruit of the human spirit and it is Independent of circumstances. 2.
