READ YOUR RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL. FAITH IN THE WORD - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME . WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3RD 2016.

And Jesus said unto them…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20).
Have you ever heard someone say, “I have faith in the Bible?” That doesn’t really make any spiritual sense. You can have faith that the Bible is true, and that it contains the Word of God, but to have faith that it’ll protect you if you place it under your pillow at night won’t work.
Don’t rest your faith on “the Bible,” but in the Word of God contained therein. Remember, we observed in our last study that the Bible is the testimony of God, but it contains the words of men, Satan, demons, and even a donkey. So to have faith in the Bible in that generic sense isn’t what works. Your faith has to be in God’s Word, and by that, faith requires to be definite and directed. True faith originates from God’s specific Word; and that’s what produces results.
The “logos” of God is life (John 6:63), but it won’t do anything for you until you receive it and act on it. For instance, there may be several electric sockets with electric power in a building, but to use the power, you have to plug an appliance into a power socket for it to work. That’s the same thing with the Word of God. The Bible says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). The whole body of God’s Word is truth, but the truth that makes you free is the truth you receive; the truth you know and live by.
The written Word doesn’t have power of itself until it comes out of the lips of a man who has faith; that’s where the power is. So, act your faith in the Word and you’ll be victorious always.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me your engrafted Word, by which I live. I succeed and make progress by the Word today, and my victorious life is evident, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study: || 2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; ||
|| John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. ||
|| James 1:22-25 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. ||

I LAY UP GOLD AS DUST! - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Somebody said, "There’s financial harmattan. Everywhere is just dry". Not me! Dry? Never! Not in my DNA. I am always in surplus! But when do you have the most dust? In time of dryness! Wipe the dust today, come back tomorrow, the dust is back, all over the place. The scripture is saying "In time of dryness, I lay up gold as dust (Job 22:24). Too much money! When their bank accounts are frowning, my own bank accounts are laughing, shouting for joy. Gloryyyyy!!! Remember, everything in life including your bank accounts have intelligence. Let my bank accounts shout for joy, and be glad! Because my bank accounts are favoring God's righteous cause, yea, let my finances say continually , Let the Lord be magnified.... (Psalm 35:27)! Hallelujah!!! Glory to God! It’s time to start laying up gold as dust and it’s time to start funding the Gospel big time. My name is on every naira, every rand, every dollar, every cedis, every euro, and every pound, Just look at them ...

YOU’RE THE BLESSED OF THE LORD – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Notice the construction above; the Apostle Paul wasn’t praying or making entreaties or begging God for spiritual blessings, no! It’s an energetic outburst of luxuriant, profuse, and exuberant worship. He glorifies the Lord who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms. He had the mentality that he was already blessed with all spiritual blessings that exist, and became poetic in praise. This should be your testimony! Be full of praise to God because there’s nothing you don’t have, and there’s nothing you can’t do! You’ve been endowed spiritually with all things, and for all things. Why did Paul use the phrase “spiritual blessings?” It’s because if you have the spiritual blessings, then you have all earthly blessings, because the spiritual gives birth to the physical. The lesser is included in the greater. Thi...
