“Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out” (Deuteronomy 28:6).
Have you ever realized that God’s desire is not just to bless you, but to make you a blessing? Yes, it’s true, and that’s God’s purpose for your life. In Genesis 12:2, God said to Abraham, “…I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing…” When you understand this, you would realize that as a seed of Abraham, the reason for your life is to be a blessing!
Now that you’re in Christ, God’s desire isn’t to change your life alone; He desires to bless all others connected to you – you are the blessing!
This is why you ought to live from a position of rest; happy, joyful and fulfilled. In the midst of darkness, you ought to shine brightly, because that’s what your life is for. Never get carried away by all the troubles and problems around you. No! The Bible says, “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.” (Psalm 91:7).
Always remember that you’re secure in God’s rest, where you only know promotion, increase, and abundance, because He has made your life beautiful.
