“And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity” (Isaiah 33:24)
In our opening verse, the prophet Isaiah was talking about the inhabitants of Zion – the new creation in Christ Jesus. The New Testament is replete with scriptures that clearly show that no form of sickness has a place in the new creation. Jesus “…Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:17), and “if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
(2 Corinthians 5:17).
As a new creation, you don’t get sick because it’s not natural with you; the man that could get sick is dead; the new man that’s alive today carries the indestructible, indefatigable, unconquerable, and invisible life of God – Zoe. God has ordained us to live the supernatural life naturally, therefore no more sickness and disease. Sickness with its attendant effects are gone with the old nature. Hallelujah!
